Very nice hotel, we went in May.
Nice situation, aside of the sea.
Good food, 2 swimming pools, the upper filled in with sea water, the lower wuth regular water.
There was an event each evening, pleasant and funny.
The 2 restaurants are included in the all in formula, even if prices are shown (the management should be more transparent on that point).
For the animations/sport, we spend a very good time thanks to Clement, the animator.
Very funny and diverse. Thanks to him !

We are now back from our 2 week holiday in the Silva Beach & have already booked 2 weeks for the same time next year (which will be our 8th visit).
We cannot fault anything & would like to thank all the staff for making our stay a happy experience as always. There have been some lovely changes since last year especially to the food in the Minoan restaurant, the Italian restaurant & the tex mex restaurant. The food in all 3 was faultless. A big thanks to Zoi, Efi & all the restaurant staff for looking after us so well & to Zac & the bar team for brilliant service all day every day.

Our group ( 4 adults and 1 child ) were in a "Silva Beach" from 02.05.2026 till 08.05.2026. One of the purposes was to celebrate two birthdays.
From the staff of the hotel we felt PERFECT ATTENTION AND WISHES TO MAKE OUR REST as best as possible.
From the hotel's staff it was organized, that we all ( 3 rooms ) were placed as close as possible to each other ( two rooms - together, one room less, than 1 minute to go to our rooms ). We arrived at late evening ( after 22:00 ), BUT food was prepared in our rooms. Coffe / tea / water was able to be prepared in a room too.
When came date of birthday, HOTEL STAFF ( and RECEPTION, and RESTORANE service, and STAFF MANAGERS ) organized, let to the room it will be delivered VERY TASTY CAKE AND A BOTTLE OF SPARKLING WINE !!! And this was done like a surprise ( nobody from our group wasn't asking for that !!! ).
I wish to say, that DURING ALL OF OUR STAY IT WAS PERFECT ATTENTION, WISH TO HELP AND REPSONSIVITY at the reception, VERY HELPFULL , KIND AND RESPONSIVES ADMINISTRATORS and RESTAURANT'S STAFF MANAGER, PERFECT WORK of staff in the restaurant ( always was possible to find a table, always enough of very tasty meals ), PERFECT BARMENS ( all drinks were perfectly made and, really, tasty ), unobtrusive but ALWAYS KEEPING AN EYE on cleanliness cleaning staff members !!!!!
Additionally I wish to say, that staff is really thinking about their giests: at tha last day we had late flight ( a bus took our group at 19:00 ). The staff at reception helped us to pro-longe ( for additional money, of course, BUT THIS IS NORMAL !!! ) our stay till the evening. AND till our departure from the hotel we were not restricted to use all hotel's services.
Regarding rest "under the sun" - there are two pools, near each pool it is possible to find a beach lounger. Near each place for "sun bath" there is a bar. Drinks in each bar are the same ( not like in some Turkish hotels - bar near the sea offers bear and some soft drinks only ). Enough beach loungers are near the sea beach too.
The beach line is interesting: there is no "standard-wide sand-beach" near the hotel, but shallow place for "not very good swimmers" are organized. And that places are fully enough to feel the charms of the salty sea water.
And for "snorkling-lowers" it is really VERY GOOD PLACE ( of course, there is not Red sea beauty, BUT FOR Mediteranean sea it is really interesting ), as there is good enough access, let to go inside the sea, and later look to the beauty of underwater life of the underwater rocks, which are changed by sandy seabed.

Stayed 4th June until 15th June 2026.
10 of us for our friends 70th birthday.
Poor all inclusive selection at bars (some mixer’s came at a charge).
We received 1 bottle of water on arrival in the fridge, no other drinks at all. Any further water needed to be purchased.
Paths and steps around the whole grounds were fairly steep and uneven.
Staff in Mexican restaurant were good and friendly but same could not be said about the Italian restaurant. Wrong food brought to us and then given to the correct table, our food came out in dribs and drabs with some people eating up before the others received theirs. Had to ask several times for drinks to be topped up.
The bathroom was small and lacked any storage space for toiletries to be placed. The shower cubicle was minute (no room to bend over or move about).
Around the pools all the beds were reserved with towels well before 7:30am even though the pool itself was not opened until 10:00. Unacceptable and never policed despite questioning reception staff.
Obvious to say, we will not be staying here again.
It’s a shame because Hersonissos is a very beautiful place and the people on a whole are lovely and friendly around the resort.

The hotel is decent, but I don't think it lives up to its 4-star rating.
Our room looked quite outdated, and it was clear that it hadn't been renovated in many years. The only exception was the bathroom, which was modern and well maintained.
The pool opening hours were far too limited, closing at 6:00 PM, which didn't make much sense. We also had an all-inclusive package, but the bar closed at 11:00 PM, and after that, all drinks had to be paid for, which was disappointing.
On top of that, there were days when we had to ask reception to have our room cleaned because it had simply been forgotten.
Overall, we had a good stay, and the hotel is average, but it's not somewhere we would choose to return to.
