The hotel is poor and does not deserve its 4-star rating.
The breakfast was poor to average and exactly the same every day for 7 days.
Lunch and dinner were average at best. The food lacked flavor and there was very little variety.
The rooms and furniture are old and outdated.
There is a large gap between the entrance door and the floor, so all the noise from the hallway can easily be heard inside the rooms.
The gyros served between the main meals is left exposed to flies.
The restaurant floor is very dirty.
As for the drinks in the restaurant, apart from the draft beer, which is acceptable, everything else is terrible. The soft drinks are terrible, the coffee is terrible, the wine is terrible, and even the tap water tastes terrible.
The only positive aspect is the staff, who were always friendly, polite, and willing to help.
I do not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is old but very well maintained and very clean. The hotel pool is amazing with clean and warm water.
The buffet was excellent with great choice of tasty food.
The staff is very kind, polite and helpfull, especially Eleni at the pool bar and Atalani, they were both wonderful.
The location is great, close to the beach and very quiet.
Overall, a wonderfull experience.

Me and my fiancée had a great time in this hotel. The rooms were tidy and clean, the location is great, everything is nearby, the staff was amazing. The bar coctails were really good. Now the bad part is the food and soft drinks. We are picky eaters. some people like it, but for us the food was terrible. We even had to go dine in restaurants. Soft drinks tasted totally off, but overall we still enjoyed this hotel, big thanks to the staff members that made our stay welcome, especially to Eleni and Atalanti - these ladies made our vacation alot better!

Hotel Marilena delivers what it promises. Room where i stayed was fresh, modern. Tv channels selection was nonexistent for english speaker though; found CNN that was barely watchable due poor signal. But hey, who watches telly on vacation. Staff is excellent, polite and attentive. Location superb; taxistation outside, beach 200m. Pool is big; garden is perfect w sunchairs.
Food is decent, not grear but mediocre and eatable. Overall a good stay

After our holidays i wanna sam few things.
1. Room Staff was the best
2. People's at bar were polite and friendly
3. Really good location, close to beach
I have one accusation, when our room credit stoped working for 5th time a day my fiancee go to speaker with reception and receptionist told us "It's your fault" then I was shattered, pls check cards, because it was impolite.
