Firstly, after reading some of the negative comments, we arrived with open minds. We’re a hard working couple, that save hard to enjoy a couple of foreign holidays a year
Can only think people that leave negative reviews are the people that would always find something wrong
We were in room 3001, which is the nearest swim up room beside the path leading to the beach. Room was spotless on arrival, and the maid that works those rooms kept it like that all week. When seated at the restaurant at night, you have table service for drinks, which we waited a maximum of 5 mins all week for them. We seemed to be seated in the same area most of the week, so a big shout out to the waiter Vasilia who’s a credit to this hotel. Drinks were the standard AL drinks, I think everybody knows that you pay extra for branded liquor where ever you go. Food was great in the evening we both thought but that is subjective I suppose, lot of choices from cooked to salad including a Greek corner. Breakfast was the normal from our experiences aboard.
Only 2 things I would say negative things about are shower over a bath instead of a walk in shower, although it was a great powerful shower and the entertainment in the evening was hit and miss. Although we were there the WC 09/05 so very much the start of the season. Saying that, if you see 3 young lads wearing electric blue jackets, stay put, they’re amazing.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay and if travelling to Rhodes would definitely stay here again

Honestly most things were ok. But for what we paid I’m not sure ok is ok. There were cleanliness issues, dead ants not cleared up after their run in with a fair amount of insect killer , repairs that hadn’t been completed like the hole in the back of the bathroom door. Entertainment was again ok the guys were very friendly and at least tried. The bar at the pool in the daytime was good , didn’t have to wait long to get served and the girls Lilianna and Panagotia were very lovely, friendly and chatty. Food at the pool bar was good as well. The buffet in the main restaurant was very good to be honest loads of choice. Drinks in the main bar at night is where it all came unstuck , if you got in there at 8 and left at midnight you would have been lucky to get 2 drinks and they were not good when you got them. Table service was non existent but if you went to the bar the guy behind it scowled at you. I’ve run bars for 26 years so I’m not saying they were not trying, but something definitely needs looking at. Just maybe get rid of the 2 lifeguards that spent all day hiding behind the bar at the pool and have 2 more bar staff at night , just a thought. As I say thanks to the girls on the pool bar and the animation team and we did enjoy our stay as a group of 6.

Not a 5 star luxurious experience.
This hotel would make a very good 3 star hotel, 5 however I can't agree with.
Drinks are tasteless and food reused between lunch/dinner, same every meal time and no heat or freshness to meals.
I understand 5 star hotels can differ in different countries, but I have stayed in many 5 stars in Greece, this is comparable to a 3 star. Positive point from stay is staff in restaurant are lovely and cleaners also nice and do a great job.

We had a wonderful stay at Asterias Beach Resort! Everything was spotless and well-organized, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Special thanks to Christos, Alex, Georg at the reception and Marina and Mariaelena from the main restaurant. Highly recommended! 🌊

Definitely wouldn’t class it as a 5 star hotel. The rooms were very basic and feel like for the size of the property there could be more food options. Ended up having the buffet every night as we tried to book into the other restaurant but was told it was full for the duration of our stay. It has a bus stop near by which gets you into Rhodes old town and surrounding areas for a cheap price which is good and the entertainment staff were lovely. It’s like the olympics for sunbeds, you have to be early to secure! Pool was good size. To be honest the room and food were what let it down for me given the cost of this!
