We had a wonderful stay at Akti Imperial Deluxe Resort & Spa
The food was very good with a great variety every day, and the restaurants always had something delicious to choose from. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of activities.
We also had amazing experiences visiting Lindos and Rhodes. Both places were beautiful and full of history, culture, and great atmosphere.
A special thanks to our fantastic pool entettainet Andrei from Kids & Sport Entertainment, who made the trips even more enjoyable with his positive energy, professionalism, and great sense of humor. He helped create unforgettable memories for us.
Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for good food, comfortable rooms, and great excursions on Rhodes!

We just had a lovely week ( 28 April to 5 May) at this hotel, food and rooms are good. Staff are all helpful and pleasant to talk to. The bar waiting staff are excellent, and are on the go giving a good service non stop. With so many rooms 700 plus I don't think I would stay here at the height of the summer it must be manic with the amount of holiday makers. The rooms are smallish but okay for 2 people, a free safe is supplied, free drinks are supplied in room fridge on a daily basis including water,beer, white and red wine. I have rated this hotel as 4* but infact it's nearer 4.5 *

Just spent an exceptional week in the most stunning sea view suite in this beautiful hotel. The food is varied and excellent quality. The entertainment staff are so professional, creative and so much fun. Andrei in particular is a massive hit with kids of all ages. Treated two creatan massage and enjoyed the spa and indoor heated pools. All the outdoor pools are well kept and lifeguards always present. Private access to the beach and another amazing bar. Shops and 7d cinema a huge added extra.

I was really disappointed with my stay and genuinely cannot understand how this hotel is rated as 5-star.
To start, we were only given one key between two people, which was inconvenient. The balcony lights didn’t work, and it looked like many other rooms had the same issue. The air conditioning also doesn’t operate this time of year (April), which was a big problem for us as we found it very hot at night.
The food was not great, and the queues were ridiculous. We had to wait around 20 minutes just to be seated for dinner, and then even longer inside waiting for food to be cooked. There was also no readily available ice for drinks unless you queued again at the bar, which was already very busy.
There was no evening entertainment despite it being advertised on TUI. When we asked staff, they mentioned karaoke indoors, but we never saw this happen. Evenings were very boring, and it was almost impossible to get a seat downstairs because it was so overcrowded.
The rooms were basic and far from clean. I found multiple areas dirty, including the shower wall, toilet roll holder, stained toilet seat, and even the mattress. The kettle and fridge were also unclean, and there was a noticeable amount of dust throughout the room. The shower flooded the bathroom, and the bathroom door didn’t close properly, offering very little privacy due to its semi-transparent design.
Housekeeping was also disappointing. We were repeatedly left with only one towel between two people, and when I asked for another, I was told to go to reception. Some of the cleaning staff came across as quite rude.
The room and balcony were quite small. Fine for two people, but I wouldn’t consider it suitable for a family.
There are also elements of false advertising. The “beach bar” is completely demolished and looks abandoned. The so-called private beach isn’t private at all, as it’s accessible to the public. The area itself is untidy, with rubbish and dead plants, which again does not reflect a 5-star standard.
The pools were absolutely freezing, which was another big letdown as we expected them to be heated. We also struggled to get sunbeds, even in April—so I can only imagine how bad it is in peak season.
There was no music around the hotel and no poolside entertainment, despite this being advertised. The atmosphere overall felt very flat.
Overall, I would not return. I was highly disappointed, and if I had stayed longer than a few days, I would have seriously considered going home early.

Not a 5 star resort! The rooms were blisteringly hot all 5 nights we stayed leading to sweaty nights with no sleep because they don’t turn the AC on until mid May. Had to sleep with the door to the balcony wide open just to get some airflow. Loud cars and street noises kept us up or woke us up multiple times throughout the night as the street here is very busy. The specialty restaurants were booked solid for the week and the buffet had some of the most un-appetizing food ive ever experienced at a resort. Asked the front desk for a fan for our room after finding out they have them only to be told they will bring one up to our room if one is available… that’s not a response a hotel charging what they charge should be giving. Spoiler* we did not get a fan! Only positives were the self service beer taps at the bars and the friendly wait staff aside from the front desk personnel who I’m sure were only rude because of all the disappointed guests they have to deal with. Everyone here for the conference were tired and complaining about how hot the rooms were and were tired all week from lack of sleep. Other honorable mentions: cleaning staff knocking then immediately opening the door to find me sleeping naked on top of the sheets “seriously hot in these rooms” no real coffee in the entire hotel just the crappy instant coffee machines, 1st day left one of our key cards in the power slot hoping that leaving the a/c run all day would cool the room down only to come back and find housekeeping had taken the card. Not just out of the slot turing the a/c off, they straight up stole it. Not that leavening the a/c on would have done anything given the front desk finally admitted they turn the a/c off during their off peak “winter” season. Highly recommend visiting the island, stay far away from this resort!
