Definitely not 5* experience - came April 2025
Waiting over 30 mins at the bar every time you need a drink.
Food in the main restaurant was poor quality.
The cocktails are terrible - not 1 bit of garnish on and they don't taste nice at all. It's what I'd expect from a 3* hotel.
The staff were rude and I ended up having an argument with one woman in particular who worked in the main restaurant - her attitude was appalling. We got sent to the completely wrong room on arrival and then they didn't have our actual room ready for another hour after ( by this point my 2 small kids were so fed up waiting after travelling all night to get there) .. honestly there was so so many things which disappointed us about this hotel and it's staff.
We raised our issues with a member of staff who was meant to tell the manager and they didn't even pass it on!! So had to have another meeting with the manager and go through it all again a few days later.. it just wasn't what we hoped for at all. I've stayed in way better 4* hotels in Greece which have been perfect. Wouldn't recommend at all.. and before they reply saying they have no record of me staying there - it was booked under my maiden name (Todd)

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely amazing!
The food was out of this world – fresh, flavorful, and with a great variety at every meal. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding – the staff was friendly, helpful, and always with a smile.
I especially want to mention Nana, our waitress, who was so charming, sweet, and full of positive energy. She truly made each meal even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be coming back!

Perfect honeymoon experience – truly caring staff and amazing food
We spent our honeymoon at Mitsis Selection Alila and couldn’t be happier with the experience. While there were a couple of small issues at the start, the way the staff handled them was genuinely impressive. As soon as we brought them up, they were taken seriously and resolved immediately with professionalism, warmth, and a real sense of care. It was clear they truly wanted us to have a great time.
What stood out most was how personally involved the team was. Every interaction felt thoughtful and kind. We’ve never experienced such sincere hospitality anywhere else.
The culinary side deserves a special mention. The food across all the restaurants was excellent - high-quality ingredients, great flavour, and a surprising variety of meals from all over the world. Every meal felt like a treat.
All in all, Mitsis Alila didn’t just meet expectations, they made our honeymoon feel special in every way. We will most definitely return.

I had an absolutely phenomenal stay at the Mitsis Alila Resort in Greece! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, making us feel right at home. Amazing Greek Dining Experience at Mitsis Alila
During our stay at the Mitsis Alila Resort, we had the pleasure of dining at the Greek restaurant—and it was absolutely exceptional! The atmosphere was beautiful and authentic, the food was delicious and fresh, and every detail was clearly crafted with care.
What truly made the experience unforgettable was the outstanding service. Nana and Assi went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Their warm hospitality added a special personal touch that truly elevated the evening.
