A Wonderful Stay at Eden Roc Hotel, Rhodes
We had a fantastic time at Eden Roc Hotel and would happily return!
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a glass of fizz – a lovely touch. Our original room wasn’t quite right, but the reception team were helpful and moved us to a much more suitable one a few days in. No stress – we were just happy to be there.
The food was outstanding – fresh, flavourful, and varied every day. A special mention to the omelette/egg station – I don’t like my eggs sunny side up, and the lovely egg chef was more than happy to cook them on both sides for me every single morning. Always smiling, and such a great way to start the day.
Drinks were just as impressive – Christina at the main bar was amazing, always keeping the drinks flowing with a big smile. Such a lovely girl and a real credit to the team.
The hotel itself is spotless, with a luxurious scent in the lobby that makes a lasting impression. The beach restaurant staff were so friendly and accommodating, even in the 33-degree heat – always cheerful and helpful.
The animation team truly made our stay even more special. Ingmar, in particular, was an absolute star – so full of life, energy, and warmth. He’s not just entertaining; he’s a genuinely lovely person who made everyone feel welcome. Kiki and Sebastiano also brought great vibes, and their signature “woooows” are still stuck in my head!
There are three great pools to enjoy, and the sea is literally a few steps behind the hotel – perfect for a morning swim. The hotel is also very family-friendly, with something for all ages.
But for me, the highlights were the amazing food, the cocktails, the people – and the stunning sunrise views

If a hotel is only as good as its staff then this one is fabulous!
The entertainment that we saw a couple of times was outstanding, some singers from South Africa.
We only booked one meal in the grill but my vegan burger and starter was delicious! They cater for gluten free too.
The only thing I would say is the coke and lemonade on tap were a little flat and a designated toaster in the gluten free area would be a nice addition. Thank you for the room upgrade too it was great

I’ll get to the most important part first!
Food & Drink:
We found the food and drink to be absolutely amazing. Including in the buffet (specifically the Greek night) WOW 😍
The snack buffet for lunch on the beach has a selection of freshly cooked Gyros, Pizza and a fully stocked salad bar which was also incredible.
Seafood A La Carte ;
( No booking required) @ Thalassa was OK, I probably made the wrong choices when ordering. The grilled sea bream was full of bones and had its head and tail on. It was advertised as coming with boiled veg but came with 2 undercooked bits of broccoli and 1 potato halved.
Gourmet Burger @ Cone ( no booking required) - We ate here twice and both times it was delicious ( The truffle fries are sensational)
Al A Carte breakfast @ Cone - I ordered Mediterranean Eggs, the eggs were ever so slightly overcooked for my personal preference but the breakfast as a whole was delicious.
Cocktails & Prosecco were all fantastic, there’s also a champagne and wine bar which is really good and gives you that VIP feel
PRO TIP: Book your A La Carte as soon as you arrive with the app, if you are unable to see the dates you need go and see guest relations to see if they can accommodate
Pools & Entertainment:
All pool areas are immaculate however please note, all are saltwater with the exception of ONE which is the kids slide pool.
We never had an issue getting beds before 9, as the hotel seemed to be relatively quiet and chill, which was great.
Daytime entertainment was water polo or aqua gym and Zumba, so not loads of choice.. But no one was forced to join in, which was great!
Evening entertainment was always good in my opinion, we saw a range of tribute singers, special shoutout to the abba tribute ladies and the dancers! We also attended a full moon party which was on the beach and had a live DJ
PRO TIP: The staff will remove towels from beds before 9 if left unattended, they will also remove
them if they’ve been left for more than one hour.
Accommodation:
We stayed in room 122 and the room was spacious and kept extremely clean.
Only con was the aircon wasn’t great.. but we found by keeping one card in the hotel, helped when we came back to the room!
Service: staff cannot do enough for you, bar can be slow at times but I think this is mainly down to cocktails to be made
All in all a wonderful stay in Rhodes! Would recommend to all ❤️

Me and my gf stayed at Eden Rock for 4 nights and it was an amazing experience. The staff are very friendly and the beach is amazing. I really felt as though they cared about their guests. Lastly, the evening shows were spectacular to watch at Bar Principle.
