Me and my Boyfriend went to this Resort and i can assure you, we absolutely loved it. The location is so great. In front of the beach, it has bars , a wonderful tasty Restaurant open at Mornings Mid day and Afternoons, nice Night programs and Service. I also must say that the Animation team was so great and nice. You could talk with them easily and not just the programs at the day where nice, but even the Rest of the Guest where always friendly and motivated people who had as much fun as we had. A little bit of everything they had there, for kids and adults. (No spoilers) I can totally recommend it if you just want a relaxing and chill Vacation with your Family. Lots of Love on the service people!

I absolutely adore this place. The first time I ever visited this place with 7 years ago with my family and ever since that day I had fallen in love with the place. Fast forward a few years I decided to go on a solo holiday here and it was the best thing I ever did, I have never been to a place where I felt at ease, I felt very safe visiting places. I honestly couldn't fault it, the staff are absolutely incredible they are nothing be friendly, polite and they go above and beyond to make sure your having the best possible time.

We recently stayed at Costa Calma Beach Hotel in Fuerteventura, and while we had an enjoyable holiday overall, the hotel didn’t quite live up to its advertised four-star status.
The setting itself is beautiful, and the hotel is kept very clean thanks to the hardworking housekeeping team. Toilets were spotless, bins were never overflowing, and the general cleanliness of the hotel was consistently good throughout our stay.
However, there were several areas that fell short of expectations. The food was very basic and incredibly repetitive. With a small kitchen and not enough staff, dishes would often run out, leaving guests waiting for replenishments. The dining experience felt rushed and understaffed, with staff focused more on clearing tables than delivering a quality service. Despite their hard work, it was clear they simply didn’t have the time or resources to offer the level of service you'd expect from a four-star hotel.
There was also a noticeable lack of management presence. We only saw members of the management team on one evening – coincidentally the only night that felt a bit more special, as we were greeted at the restaurant entrance and handed questionnaires. That extra touch of hospitality should have been a daily occurrence, not a one-off.
The hotel itself, while charming, is in need of updating. It has so much potential, but it lacks any standout features that would justify a four-star rating. The evening entertainment (or "animation") was underwhelming. We hoped for a taste of local culture—traditional dances, Spanish-themed nights—but instead found the entertainment very basic and uninspiring.
In short, we did enjoy our time at Costa Calma Beach Hotel, largely thanks to its location and cleanliness. But the experience didn’t match what was promised. It’s currently a solid three-star hotel that could become something really special with better staffing, improved food, refreshed entertainment, and more consistent hospitality.

The rooms in the main building are nice, but extremely noisy at night. There were lots of drunk people outside after the bar closed at 1 AM.
The food was good, but there was a lack of cups, glasses, and plates — and the overall cleanliness was just awful.
The surroundings are beautiful — a lovely oasis — but the hotel itself is in desperate need of renovation. It’s basically falling apart.
We stayed at this hotel many years ago and find it a real shame that it has been so poorly maintained.

My recent stay at Costa Calma Beach Resort was, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment I stepped into the room, it was clear this place is severely neglected. The rooms are woefully outdated, feeling like a blast from a past no one wants to revisit. To make matters worse, essential amenities like electrical outlets simply didn't work, making it impossible to charge devices. And as if that wasn't enough, we were regularly greeted by cockroaches scuttling around, a truly disgusting sight that immediately makes you question the hygiene standards.
The issues extended far beyond the room. The pool area was a hazardous mess, with broken glass scattered everywhere – a serious safety concern, especially for families. Adding to the chaos were feral cats that seemed to enjoy attacking guests, making relaxation by the pool an impossibility. If you're hoping for a nice beach experience, look elsewhere. The beach wasn't sandy at all; it was rocky and completely unsuitable for swimming.
And then there's the food. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were absolutely horrific. It wasn't just the quality of the food ); the dining area was perpetually dirty. Finding a clean table, cup, or even a glass of water was a constant struggle. It's painfully obvious the hotel is severely understaffed, leading to a complete lack of attention to basic cleanliness and service.
In short, this hotel is dirty, dangerous, and utterly uninviting. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to look for alternative accommodations. You'll be glad you did.
