I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. It’s definitely not worth the price.
As someone with food allergies, eating here was almost impossible. It’s an all-inclusive hotel, yet they don’t list allergens on any of the food labels, even though every dish has a name tag. The only things they offered to make for me were pancakes, bread, and pasta. On top of that, there were constant issues — no gluten-free flour left, pancakes only available at breakfast, and so on, even though they were cooking separately. Two people in our group even got food poisoning.
The à la carte restaurant, which you can visit once for free, was fully booked when we tried to reserve it. No one told us we had to book it the day we arrived, so when we asked a few days later, there were no available spots. The staff also barely speak English, which made communication really difficult.
Housekeeping was terrible — probably the worst I’ve ever seen. The floors were dirty, there were pieces of glass all over the balcony, and no toiletries were restocked. We stayed for 7 nights, and the rooms were never properly cleaned — they only changed the towels and made the bed. I honestly regret leaving tips for housekeeping because it was disgusting.
Even the drinks were disappointing. The same cocktail would taste completely different each time, and the bartenders just pour random alcohols together right in front of you. It’s obvious they use the cheapest liquor available.
Another issue was the Wi-Fi — it barely worked the entire stay. The mini fridge and the AC wasn’t working properly either. Its impossible to have a shower as well - one second cold, then hot, then normal temperature..
Overall, I’m extremely disappointed. I spent 800€ to stay here, and it was absolutely not worth it.

Great place!
We have experience in the Turkey with 12 hotels and sure, it's one of the best. It's not large but very green and cute. Convenient and delicious with good location. The service also is on high level
Villas are cute.

✅ Positive details
Evening shows are entertaining and well-organized, adding to the holiday atmosphere. The restaurant is large with food available almost anytime, and the draft beer is surprisingly good. The staff is friendly and helpful, which makes the stay more pleasant.
⚠️ Negative details
Room cleaning is only done on request, which can be inconvenient. Food becomes repetitive after a while, and the pools are not well maintained (unfortunately leading to health issues like ear infections for adults and stomach problems for kids). The beach is quite small and the sea entry is very steep, making swimming less comfortable.

The Nostalgic and Heartfelt Review 2000-2025
This hotel holds a special place in my heart. In 2000, I was driving from Iskenderun to Istanbul with my two young kids, ages 12 and 8, and we arrived with no reservation. The manager greeted us with incredible warmth and somehow made room for us. What followed was a magical three-day stay filled with excellent service and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Now, 25 years later, I'm thrilled to see it's still a five-star hotel with the same reputation for excellence. It's a testament to a place that prioritizes genuine hospitality. Some memories are just perfect, and this hotel gave us one of them.

Safir Hotel & Villas, August 2025
We stayed here during the last week of August 2025 and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
Food: the menu was very repetitive, lacking variety.
Cleanliness: housekeeping was poor, using dirty mops. We even found other guests’ hair on the floor in our room.
Unpleasant smells: there was a strong sewage smell both in the courtyard and in the rooms. We had to pay extra to move into the villas, where the smell was less noticeable, but still not ideal.
Swimming pool: extremely dirty. Our 6-year-old child developed gastroenteritis, and my husband got an ear infection after swimming.
Beach: very small, with a steep entrance into the sea, not suitable for children.
Organization: poor overall, with little interest shown in guests’ comfort.
The only nice aspect was the garden, which was well maintained, but even there the strong sewage smell ruined the atmosphere.
Conclusion: I do not recommend this hotel. The price-quality ratio is very poor, and the conditions do not meet the expectations for a paid holiday at this level.
