You can't knock the Rosamar really. It's got a great location and the recent redevelopments have certainly improved it.
We stayed on the 13th floor, room 1327. This is one of the newer rooms in the extension. Room smelt damp and there was a bit of mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. But the room was ok. Good size, good beds, great views.
The lifts are slightly better now than before the rebuild with the addition of another lift, but they're still pretty terrible.
Food was good. Good variety and reasonable quality.
Recommend the solarium if you want a bit of peace. The pool area is nice. Busy, but not too bad at all.
All in all, would recommend.

I am currently at this hotel, with my 5year old girl. There are pros and cons.
The food tastes nice, the rooms and the hotel in general are clean. We have come over Halloween and the hotel have put up some decent decorations and provided Halloween activities for the kids. The staff have been polite and helpful. The location is great.. it is a short walk to the beach/strip and there are lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
The main reason I booked this hotel was for the waterslides for my little one, only to find out that they close the waterslides pool after 31st Oct. So the 2nd half of the holiday, my daughter will be a bit bored. In the main pool, there is nothing to do and lilos etc are not permitted.
Although the food tastes nice, there could be more choice. They have several sections of the buffet but each section has the same foods.
The rooms are clean, the beds are big and the showers are great, but overall they’re pretty basic - not much colour and not very big. No draws - only wardrobe.
The LIFTS!! These are the slowest lifts I’ve ever known. They can’t fit many people in so there is always a queue and there are so many floors, you often stop at every floor!
The KIDS disco isn’t until 9pm.. after a day in the sun and the pool, kids are tired and wanting to settle down but don’t want to miss out on the disco. It is very loud at night until early hours, often waking us up. The fridge is tiny - couldnt even fit a large bottle of water inside.
Overall, would probably not stay at this hotel again. If I did, I would come earlier in the year.

Come here for a week with my 7 month old, 8 year old and my partner,
I tried contacting the hotel 4 X from 6 weeks before we travelled to confirm facilities for my daughter’s allergy’s was left with no response.
Turned up to a room with no cot & no working cots available gave us 4 broken ones, so had to dangerously sleep with 3 off us in a bed which I didn’t like.
When asked for facilities to wash my daughter’s bottles they told me to wash them in the toilet it’s fine and normal.
The food well looked absolutely awful but we gave it a go for the sake off all the money we spent. Me and my partner both complained about the food was told if we don’t like it don’t eat it, we both ended up with food poisoning which was awful& totally ruined our holiday. There was sick in the bathroom asked for a cleaner we waited 6 hours for it to be cleaned. The room was hot and stunk.
then we was sick in the night on the bed called down to reception for some clean bedding and some water. They told me I had to go down with my token to get some water after telling them how ill I was, waited nearly 2 hours for some clean bedding.
The receptionist and mangers didn’t care when we told them.
Also your aloud no inflatables or toys in the pool which was a bit crap for the kids.
The rooms wasn’t cleaned daily just beds made. Sand left everywhere and sick all left on the toilet for our stay.
Waiting for a lift was a totally nightmare we didn’t get a lift quicker than 5 minutes& waited up to 35 mins.
Would avoid

Honest review
I came with my partner & 8 year old son
This is our first family holiday abroad
I’ll start with the positives we were no on the left side of the hotel and allways hot sun on the balcony there’s ever sun on the right
Everthing is in walking distance , the snack bar is great I’m a fussy eater and the pizza , chips , burgers , toasties are lovley , the food hall breakfast is lovley as it’s the same everyday , fresh fried eggs , everything on a full English ect ( Spanish bacon sausages ect )
Now to the negatives
The hotel is VERY loud at night . We were on the 3rd floor and the walls and doors are paper thin .
The all inclusive bar may close at 11pm but trust me everyone still comes in every minute of every hour drunk and being very loud down the corridor . Even had somone try and enter our room . Not what I’d recommend for kids as my son even tho he’s 8 kept waking up too , the room above us had multipul children up at all hours running around so that was very loud ,
The main hotel lady who was at reception was very rude VERY unhelpful and couldn’t even look at us when we asked a question …
Cleanliness of the hotel was poor . Hair , dust , dirt mainly on the floors , bedding does not get changed ( even tho reception says every 3 days … ) it wasn’t ( milk left in the room was also off
Everthing beyond reception NEEDS a lick of pain and it’s all very warn and dirty
Overall I wouldn’t stay again unless it was for a drinking holiday . As that’s what most guests seem to stay for but not with family’s/ kids

The hotel location is good for entertainment, 10 minute walk from Levante beach.
We had requested a low room for a disabled guest, we ended up on the 12th floor as far away from the lift/stairs as possible with no evacuated plan.
Food wasn't the best, and was pretty bland. I wasn't impressed by the cockroach walking around one of the coffee machines (I told one of the staff who shrugged their shoulders) not the worst, but definitely not worth 4 stars.
