Our stay at Porto Angeli Beach Resort was simply excellent. The hotel completely exceeded our expectations in every aspect.
The Junior Suite was incredibly spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable. The private pool and the view were absolutely perfect for a couple looking to relax, unwind, and enjoy a peaceful stay in a beautiful setting.
All the staff members were outstanding. Everyone was always very friendly, helpful, and genuinely willing to assist with anything we needed. A special mention goes to the restaurant and bar staff for their kindness and positive attitude, as well as the reception team for their total availability and professionalism throughout the entire stay.
The hotel facilities are modern, spacious, and very well maintained. The resort is also perfectly located and works wonderfully both for guests looking for peace and relaxation and for families with children, thanks to its excellent amenities and welcoming atmosphere.
Another highlight was the food quality and variety. Every meal offered a wide selection of options and everything was consistently fresh and delicious.
Without a doubt, this is a hotel worth returning to and one we would highly recommend.

One of the funnest family vacations we had because of this amazing hotel.
Quiet, family oriented, high standards of everything - from food to service and the resort itself is so beautiful.
The staff is incredibly helpful.
One small note about the room - it was beautiful but there’s a room of improvement in the daily cleanup and privacy of the room itself. But that’s very minor compared to everything else - we will definitely come back!

Just spent a week all inclusive in a family room at Porto Angeli, with two toddlers, for a "familymoon" after our wedding.
We are a British/Irish family which is worth noting as this is almost exclusively a German resort.
Overall the holiday was fine, the location is excellent for a week's unpack and relax beach holiday, but there were other issues that spoilt our stay.
Pros:
Beautiful location in a quiet Rhodes resort with no other large hotels and lots of friendly tavernas and bars.
It's on a beautiful private beach with plenty of loungers, showers and a soft drinks self service.
The pool areas are varied for kids and the lifeguard is super helpful finding a lounger.
Lovely cocktail bar - plentiful food and drink options throughout the resort.
Cons:
No real explanation where things are on arrival.
The night receptionist forgot to give us all inclusive wristbands which was awkward the next day.
No acknowledgement of our family honeymoon.
Return transfer didn't include kids seats so I had to negotiate with the driver for my youngest to get a baby seat.
German guests given priority at the bars.
German guests seemingly unable to queue and culturally their staring can become tiresome.
All entertainment is in German and the kids on the German language kids club take over wherever they are, so it was hard for my toddlers to use the play park.
Most annoying of all, there were a lot of smokers across the resort, which we could mostly avoid, but the hotel unwisely gave us a room in the Ilios building situated directly above a smoking area, where their staff/chefs would congregate to smoke. We also discovered their staff quarters and drying rooms were also located across the corridor from our room and this brought its own smells of damp clothes and smoke from their rooms - so we would enter & exit our room as swiftly as possible to avoid smells getting into our room too much. Needless to say, for a 5* hotel, this felt sub-par and a tad uncomfortable.
In summary, this could easily be a perfect hidden gem of a resort, but sadly it falls short of that. Aesthetically it could be 5* by European standards, but I'd call it a 4* hotel. It's well suited to Germans who will be amongst their own, but unfortunately I couldn't recommend it to any English speaking guests.
We won't be returning to this hotel, but Stegna was lovely.

We spent two nights at this lovely hotel and had a great stay. The junior suite with a private pool and a stunning view is highly recommended. The staff were consistently kind and helpful, and we especially enjoyed breakfast in the adults-only restaurant. The property was spotless overall, though we did notice a few cigarette butts around the beach-umbrella area.

We stayed 2 nights, Very good if you like all inclusive but not for us. Soup and salad bar was good. Rooms spread out good which was good but then it was a long walk to the main area for food. Good for children
