We have just returned to the UK after our second stay at Mayia Exclusive Resort & Spa, and we are delighted to say that it was every bit as good as the first time we visited.
The food was outstanding from start to finish. Every one of the four à la carte restaurants offered something different, and the quality was exceptional throughout. The lunch menu was equally impressive, with plenty of variety and beautifully prepared dishes.
The drinks were excellent, with a fantastic selection of premium alcoholic and soft drinks available, and the complimentary mini bar in our room was regularly restocked, which was a lovely touch. We also really appreciated the Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom, which added another level of luxury to the experience.
A special mention has to go to Vasalis at the pool bar, who was always friendly, welcoming and worked incredibly hard to ensure everyone was looked after. We'd also like to thank Stefan, who always had interesting facts and stories to share while serving our drinks, making every visit even more enjoyable.
As visitors from the UK, we have stayed in a number of resorts over the years, and Mayia Exclusive Resort & Spa remains right at the very top of the list. Returning for a second time and finding the standards just as high speaks volumes about the hotel, its staff and the incredible attention to detail.
From the service and facilities to the atmosphere and overall experience, everything exceeded our expectations once again. We would highly recommend Mayia Exclusive Resort & Spa to anyone visiting Rhodes, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The activities offered within the resort were enjoyable, and there was a good variety of restaurants to choose from. The front desk team was very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.
The only downside was the location, as it is quite far from Rhodes city center. We also experienced an issue with the airport transportation service. Unfortunately, the manager did not handle the situation in a professional or satisfactory manner, which was disappointing.
A special thank you to Tula for her excellent service and kindness throughout our stay. She truly made a positive difference to our experience.

From the moment we arrived at Mayia, we received such a warm welcome and immediately felt relaxed. We booked a swim-up room with a sea view and it was absolutely stunning, spacious, comfortable, and the perfect setting for our honeymoon.
The food throughout the resort was outstanding. We tried the Asian, Italian, Greek, and steak restaurants, and every meal was delicious. The buffet restaurant was also consistently excellent, and we especially loved the themed buffet nights, such as the Sunday fish and seafood evening, which was a lovely touch.
The staff truly made our stay special. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and kind, especially the bar team. A special thank you to Renato the manager, and to Rosanna, Albi, and Varsilis – we always looked forward to chatting with them and they made us feel so welcome every day.
Another standout was Foivos at the steak restaurant. He greeted every guest with a handshake and a friendly conversation, which is a small gesture but left such a positive and lasting impression.
The entertainment at the resort was fantastic every single night. The performers were talented, fun, and interactive, and there was always a great atmosphere in the evenings. It really added something special to our stay. It wasn’t just the night entertainment either – the daytime activities were excellent too, with gym classes, water boogie sessions, and other activities that kept guests engaged throughout the day.
We also booked massages during our stay. The lady at the spa reception was incredibly helpful and tailored a package for us, and both Jim and Dana were fantastic therapists. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
The beach is literally a one-minute walk from the hotel, which is very convenient. It is a little rocky, so I’d definitely recommend bringing swim shoes. There is also a watersports centre nearby where you can rent boats, jet skis, and other equipment. We did a 20-minute jet ski session and rented a boat for four hours, and both were 100% worth it. No licence was needed for the 30hp boat, and it was easy and great fun to drive.
We were also able to rent a car directly from the hotel with very little notice, even booking it the night before. We visited Lindos, St Paul’s Bay, and Rhodes Old Town, which was fantastic for exploring the island and added even more to our holiday.
Plus, even they mentioned they are at full capacity, no where is crowded, always sun beds available etc. No where is overwhelming and busy which is great for couples.
Overall, our honeymoon at Mayia was truly unforgettable. Everything from the room, food, facilities, entertainment, and activities to the incredible staff exceeded our expectations. We made amazing memories there and would definitely return again in the future.

This hotel is beautiful and the service and the pool and the beach is amazing. Staff can’t do enough to make your stay memorable and relaxing. There isn’t a rush for beds by the poolside or beach so you can really relax. The food choices are varied with 3 à la carte restaurants and the buffet is also great. The entertainment staff are so enthusiastic and make the fitness and fun real quality. This is a brilliant hotel and the fact that it’s adults only is an added bonus as it’s so quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at MAYIA and are very happy that we chose this hotel.
The highlight of our experience was the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, attentive, professional and genuinely willing to help. The level of service was truly exceptional and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The breakfast was excellent, with fresh orange juice, avocado, smoked salmon, fresh fruits and a great variety of high-quality products.
We also loved all of the à la carte restaurants. The food quality, presentation and service were outstanding.
The selection of imported alcoholic beverages was impressive and exceeded our expectations for an all-inclusive resort.
Housekeeping was excellent, and our room was always spotless.
The hotel itself is modern, beautiful, clean and very well maintained. Everything feels new and carefully looked after.
The only minor downside is the rocky entrance to the sea, which can make getting into the water a bit difficult. However, this is a characteristic of the natural coastline rather than the hotel itself.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would gladly return. Thank you to the entire MAYIA team for such a memorable holiday!
