Lovely hotel in ideal position, On arrival receptionist took us to our room after explaining times and locations for breakfast.
Room large and comfortable ideal for the three of us and bonus of being right beside smaller of the two pools.Cleaners in every day.
Said pool ideal depth at shallow end for small children.
Breakfast a little chaotic at times, plates in one location then walk through lots of people to where your food option is. Lots of selection for all tastes available. Couldn’t drink the Tea or coffee as too strong.
Main pool fantastic with nice pool bar.
All staff friendly and very helpful.
Would definitely recommend and hopefully will return.
Thank you for a great holiday

We recently stayed at Maritimo Beach Hotel in Sissi and came away with very mixed feelings.
The hotel itself is clean, the grounds are beautiful, and the food we had was good quality. The staff we interacted with were generally pleasant, and the location overlooking the sea is stunning.
Unfortunately, despite being marketed as family-friendly, that wasn’t our experience at all.
Accessibility was a major issue. There were no suitable wheelchair or pushchair ramps to reach our room, meaning we had to carry our pushchair up multiple flights of stairs every day. For families with young children, or anyone with mobility issues, this is incredibly inconvenient and something that should be made much clearer before booking.
The food was nice, but the choice was fairly limited, especially for anyone with dietary requirements. Gluten-free and vegetarian options were lacking, and after a few days the selection became repetitive.
Another disappointment was the cost of drinks and lunches, which we found to be very expensive. There was also no table service for drinks, which wasn’t what we expected from a resort of this standard.
Sissi itself is undeniably beautiful, but we didn’t find it particularly welcoming for families. During our stay there were mostly European tourists, particularly German visitors, and we often felt that children simply playing in the pool were met with impatience rather than understanding. While everyone has the right to enjoy their holiday, it left us feeling uncomfortable and as though families with young children weren’t especially welcome.
Overall, if you’re a couple looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, this hotel and resort may suit you perfectly. However, if you’re travelling with young children or require good accessibility, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Sadly, despite the beautiful surroundings, we’ve never felt quite so unwelcome on a family holiday.

Nice hotel, great location close to bus stop, supermarket, land train. Lovely pool. Could do with upgrade on sunbeds. Also Bedrooms do not have a safe or bedroom mirror. Food is good.staff not overly friendly. But overall would come back. Evening entertainment needs more umph!

Had an absolutely wonderful
stay at the Maritimo Beach Hotel.
The balcony views were simply
breathtaking-waking up to the
sight of the sea, and the peaceful
surroundings were a highlight of
each day. The rooms were spacious
incredibly comfortable, and kept in
pristine condition throughout our
stay. You can tell the housekeeping
team takes great pride in their work.
The amazing staff.....Every single
person we interacted with was warm,
welcoming, and went out of their
way to make us feel at home. Their
accommodating nature and genuine
hospitality really set this hotel
apart.Athena, Georgia, and young
Daniella..we arrived very late in the
early hours and were welcomed
with offer of food and refreshments.
Breakfasts were plentiful with
variety of choice as were the
menus, although perhaps
Sissi is quite yet picturesque with
lovely sea view restaurants and bars,
If you're looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway with top-notch service, I can't recommend Maritimo Beach Hotel enough. l'll definitely be
