Looks Better in the Adverts Than It Is in Reality
We’ve just returned from a week at Magic Natura Resort as a family of six – two adults and four children aged 8 to 14.
Firstly, because there are six of us, we were told we had to book two Skyview cabins, which obviously pushed the cost up considerably. What was frustrating was then finding out that there are actually 7-berth cabins available, which could have accommodated us all. I really feel this should have been offered as an option when booking.
We upgraded to Ultra All Inclusive, and if you plan on using all the extras then I would say the upgrade itself is worth having.
The main positives for us were the Aqua Natura water park and the zoo, both of which were really good and definitely the highlights of the holiday.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing.
The food quality was poor, and the drinks were also very poor quality. There is plenty included, but quantity does not make up for quality.
The reusable cup system was also frustrating. You pay a deposit for the cups, but you cannot get your deposit back unless you have kept the original receipt, so make sure you hold onto it for the entire holiday.
Our cabins had ants in the bathrooms, and on some nights we even had them on the beds, which was not acceptable.
I would also say this resort is much better suited to younger children. Once children get to around 11+, there really isn’t enough to keep them entertained. Our older children became bored quite quickly.
The evening entertainment was very poor and on some nights seemed to last for only around 30 minutes, which is nowhere near enough for a family resort.
The cabins are also poorly sound insulated, so you can hear a lot from neighbouring cabins, particularly at night.
Another downside is the location. The resort is quite isolated, so once you have done the zoo and water park there isn’t much else around. If you want to go into Benidorm, you are looking at roughly a £25 taxi, which soon adds up.
Check-out was probably one of the most frustrating parts. The resort is extremely hilly, and we were given no real help getting all of our luggage down to reception. For a family of six with a week’s worth of cases, this was a nightmare and not a great way to end the holiday.
Overall, I would not book Magic Natura again.
I personally feel that the photos and advertising are not a true representation of the overall experience. The resort looks much better in the promotional pictures than it felt when actually staying there.
The zoo and water park are good, and Ultra All Inclusive can be worthwhile, but for the amount we paid there were simply too many negatives.
I genuinely think you could get far more for your money elsewhere in Benidorm, with better food, better drinks, better entertainment and a much better location.
For families with very young children it may suit, but for us, with children aged 8 to 14, it just didn’t live up to expectations.

Absolutely phenomenal! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd holiday abroad as a family of 5! Kids LOVED every bit of it! Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! Animation team/entertainment work so hard and are the most loveliest friendliest people! We couldn't have asked for more! Food was stunning! Thank you Magic Natura!!

Review of my stay.
We booked the all inclusive plus Polynesian lodge with hot tub for a family of 4.
Lodge was the perfect size for the four of us and we really enjoyed having the hot tub especially on the two days it rained.
Food was brilliant, couldn't fault it, and having the orange wristband was a nice wee touch.
Access to Terra Natura and Aqua Natura was ace for the kids and they were kept entertained throughout, loads of activities for them to do, you can see what is on each day on the app and just turn up and take part.
We had a bit of an issue when the oldest daughter left her bag at the Magic Robin hood medieval show (which I really recommend!) but the reception staff at Magic Natura and Ellie at customer services went out of their way to locate it and let me know when I could go and collect it.
All the other staff from bar staff, cleaning staff and those serving dinner were also amazing throughout, highly recommended for a family.and we'll definitely be back.
Cristian and Sandra from the entertainment team were amazing, gave the kids so much attention and kept us all entertained

I am extremely disappointed for the £3500 we spent for 2 adults and 1 child for a week plus add ons closer to £4000 you can get a lot better for £4000 and a similar quality for alot less .
Everything is nackered and run down . Our lodge had smashed glass outside no screws in the door lock no roof tiles just the buttons and underlay . Leaky air con unit that leak constantly all day all night . No double beds , sofa bed blocked the door .
Customer services fobbed me off said another room will cost more she will ring me tomorrow or leave paper work in the room I said ok I don't mind paying the "substantial " amounts extra and no call or paper work .
Food cheap quality and you don't even know what your eating half the time as it's not correctly labeled if labeled at all . Sprits use name brand bottles and filled with cheap quality .
Poor atmosphere all round nobody was happy every body we spoke to or over heard was complaining.
Went to the pirates for one show one night and you can tell the difference in atmosphere.
Very small pool to be honest I think the holiday for 3 should have been maximum £2,000 and that's been generous .
They even made it extremely difficult and awkward to get the €3 euro refund for the cups you have to hire . Can you believe it ? hiring cups in a all inclusive hotel . I ended up just telling him to forget it . I knew it was going to happen before I tried to claim my refund .
I have not come here to argue . I would not spend money to just complain. I Went to the Facebook page with genuine concerns prior to booking as it looked like a overpriced caravan site . I was assured it was not . Now I wish I trusted my gut instinct .
I have posted this on the Facebook page and they deleted my post . Typical . They said post a good review or leave . Honestly .
Since writing this post and it got deleted off Facebook I have seen a post in regards to someone with a nut allergy eating something with nuts which I touched in earlier in the post . The place is a joke for the price .
Please take caution with all the overwhelmingly positive comment . all I got on Facebook was how amazingly great this place was and I can confirm it was far from that .

### Great attached parks, but a tired resort, loud evenings, and poor service – Wouldn't return
We visited Magic Natura at the end of May as a family of five (two adults, and three children aged 13, 8, and 8). While the parks themselves were brilliant, the resort unfortunately fell quite short of our expectations.
**The Best Parts**
* **The Parks:** The absolute highlight of the trip was having access to the water park and the zoo. Visiting at the end of May meant it wasn’t overly busy. The kids loved the animals and the slides, and the paddling pool areas were a big hit.
**Things to Know**
* **Tired Accommodation:** The lodges are definitely showing their age, particularly the bathrooms and the exterior spaces. If you are a family of five, be aware that the third child has to sleep in the living room area, which is less than ideal. We also found that there wasn't enough outdoor seating provided for all five of us.
* **Staff and Communication:** The reception staff did not seem very well informed and frequently just told us to use the hotel app, which is not intuitive at all. Additionally, a lot of the staff do not speak any English, making it quite difficult to ask for things or resolve basic issues.
* **Housekeeping:** Service seemed to drop off completely at the end of our stay. On our last day, our mini-fridge was not refilled, and our towels were not changed.
* **Pools and Bars:** The hotel’s own pools and lounge chairs are looking very worn. The pool bars close at 6:00 PM, and we found the bar staff to be quite slow. They often seemed inconvenienced by drink orders, though they were suddenly very quick when rushing to pull the blinds down at closing time.
* **Dining Chaos:** The restaurant gets exceptionally busy, making it incredibly difficult to find a table at times. That being said, the dining staff work very hard and do a great job cleaning up plates as fast as they can.
* **Late Night Noise:** The resort website claims that "rest hours" begin at 11:00 PM, but the evening entertainment is loud and goes on until midnight. We could hear it very clearly from our lodge, which made it difficult for the kids to fall asleep.
**Overall Verdict**
The holiday was just okay, entirely saved by how great the zoo and water park were. However, considering the tired state of the resort, the noise levels, the lack of space in the lodges, and the frustrating service, it wasn't a great hotel experience. We wouldn't choose to stay here again.
