The staff were all excellent especially the animatiom team who work so hard to entertain everyone. The rooms were spacious and kept very clean, my only complaint is that the beds are very hard. The food was varied with choices to suit everyone. All areas of the hotel were kept clean and tidy by the hard working staff. The pool was clean and always plenty of sunbeds however some more sun umbrellas would be helpful especially for the children. The hotel is in an ideal spot to access the town and local facilities. We had a great holiday and would recommend the hotel to family and friends.

I’m not sure why it has been rated 5 star. It’s more like 1 star. Upon arrival we were offered pork sandwiches when we are both vegetarian no other option was offered.
With regards to the mattress, the springs were so bad it was unbelievable,they were poking my back. I went to complain to reception and I was offered a mattress topper instead and not another room or mattress,considering I paid for the most expensive suite. The plug socket was also broken
The food was below average and inedible. Although there was a lot of variety,the food was disgusting. The overall staff attitude at the reception was very rude and they were very unhelpful throughout our stay. The food is also not labeled properly. It stated pasta only yet had pieces of bacon or ham in it. As a vegetarian this upset me.
An excursion was booked through the reception desk. We were left outside the excursion on the way back by the driver who claimed to have got locked inside a car park conveniently. The driver drove recklessly the whole way and texted and spoke on the phone. We were then left stranded and had to arrange another lift home. We called the receptionist and spoke to Maria Tsampika who didn’t call us back or sort the issue. We then raised the issue with Maria T at reception the next day who was incredibly unhelpful and didn’t offer any resolution.
The room we stayed in was dirty with dirty handprints on the wall,as the images show. The covers were covered in lint and looked about 20 years old.
For the price paid the hotel was awful. Overall the resort wasn’t value for money. I wouldn’t visit again. The massage Centre was also very expensive and had the same prices as the UK.

Large room with tea makings daily replenished. Beds are hard .Big balcony, no airer to dry clothes. Modern bathroom in room 510. Food is good but depends on your taste and expectations. Big salads options, lots of different breads. Staff very efficient and friendly. Entertainment team are excellent providing fun, games and show for the whole family. The grounds are well looked after with green grass and lovely plants.

Me and my family have just returned from our second stay at Lydia Maris, and once again we had a fantastic holiday!
We stayed for 7 days, but honestly it still wasn’t enough. The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful location, making it perfect for families or anyone looking to relax rather than party. We also noticed the local area has improved since our last visit, and we hope that continues.
Our room was a little dated in places, but it was spotlessly clean every day. The cleaning ladies were always smiling, friendly, and worked incredibly hard.
The food was fantastic! There was a huge variety every day, with plenty of different dishes to try. Even the fussiest eaters should be able to find something they enjoy, and if you’re a bit more adventurous, there’s always something new to sample. The pizza oven was a brilliant addition too—we visited it a few times when we fancied a snack between meals!
The entertainment team deserve a special mention. They were absolutely amazing from morning until night. I honestly don’t know where they get the energy from! They kept everyone entertained and really helped create such a fun atmosphere.
We booked a swim-up pool room, and it was worth every penny. The kids practically lived in the pool, and it made our holiday even more special.
Overall, our experience at Lydia Maris was easily 5 stars. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, and we’ll definitely be looking at coming back again—maybe even next year!

Second time at hotel. Had 3 rooms with pool
2 of the rooms were updated airy and comfortable with modern bathroom. Third room was dated with poor air conditioning. Pools were great with plenty of room to sumbathe
Food was good. Lots of choice plus gyros and pizza served all day
Drinks were ok a bit on the weak side but satisfactory
Grounds were well maintained and clean
Rooms kept immaculate by cleaning staff
Staff were freindly and helpful from reception to waiting staff and housekeeper
Adult entertainment was mediocre at best had no children with us so can't comment on their entertainment
All in all we had a great time and will return
