This hotel was quite disappointing and not at all what the photos looked like. It is much closer to a 3 star hotel, think Travelodge, Greece edition. We booked the double deluxe panoramic sea view and I would not consider it ‘panoramic” unless you went to the furthest corner of the deck and hung yourself half over the edge.
There was a handful of things that contributed to my low review:
- If you’re a larger person, good luck going to the washroom. The toilet is almost under the sink, your legs sit under it while you use it.
- The shower doesn’t drain so you’re standing in water all the time and it overflows onto the bathroom floor.
- The soap bottles in the shower are worn off, so you don’t know what they are.
- The bathroom REEKS of urine. Not sure why, and not sure I want to know why. Seems like it backs up through the toilet or something each time you flush. Smells like a truck stop outhouse.
- There is not a single hook to hang your wet towel in the bathroom or the room.
- If you’re over 5’7” good luck showering because the shower head is freakishly short.
- There is no where to put the toilet paper so it sits on the counter that barley has enough room in itself so it gets wet every time you wash your hands.
- You get 2 caffeinated coffee pods and if you want more for the rest of your stay you have to pay 2 € per pod.
- Rooms are just outdated in general and could really benefit from a renovation.
- They need to re-silicone the shower because it’s dirty and old.
- They have music every single night until quite late (10:30-11) and you hear everything despite the door being closed so if you are hoping to catch some sleep, don’t count on it until late.
The pros:
- the breakfast buffet is quite good, big selection and generally tasty.
- The staff are lovely and very friendly.

A Relaxing Stay with Gorgeous Views – but Not Quite 5-Star
We recently stayed here and overall had a lovely holiday, but there are a few things worth mentioning if you’re considering it.
The pool area is beautiful with a great view, and the service – especially from the pool boys – was excellent. The gyros at the pool bar were delicious, though the tzatziki was a bit disappointing. Breakfast offered plenty of variety (I loved my daily omelette!), but the orange juice was far too watered down.
The beach is a pebble beach, so definitely bring water shoes, but once you’re in, the sea is calm and lovely. The Banana Beach Bar was a highlight – such a cute little oasis with great food and chilled vibes – and we loved the golf cart service to and from the beach. However, for a supposed 5-star resort, the sunbeds could really be better – they’d benefit from proper cushioned mattresses like you’d expect at this level.
On the downside, the hotel doesn’t quite live up to its 5-star promise. From the outside it looks luxurious, but the rooms, while comfortable, are a bit shabby around the edges and could use a refurb. There’s also a barren patch of grass near the bottom of the property that would benefit from some greenery.
A couple of practical notes: there are a lot of steps (it’s on a hillside), so bear that in mind if you have mobility issues. The on-site supermarket is handy, but waiting for taxis to town can be frustrating – sometimes up to 45 minutes, and people jumping the queue doesn’t help!
Some odd touches: the cleaners sometimes leave used cutlery or glasses outside the rooms, which isn’t very 5-star either. Also, there’s no ice cream freezer by the pool, which felt like a missed opportunity.
All that said, we really did enjoy our stay – the weather was perfect, the pool and sea were gorgeous, and despite a few quirks, it was a relaxing break. With a bit of updating and attention to detail, this place could easily live up to its 5-star potential.

Good hotel with good offerings to its guests. The staff is super friendly and genuinely helpful.
Good breakfast buffet and a good pool area.
The rooms however could be better. As a 5-star facility, I was expecting the rooms to be of a better technical standard. Things like broken doorhandles and leaking and overflowing showers should be easy fixes... but it seems it is only patched, not fixed as it should be.
The hotel is located about 50 minutes from Rhodes town and about 15 minutes from Lindos town. Very central and good spot for further exploration of the island.
All-in-all had a good stay with just some hiccups during our first 3 nights.

Staying at Lindos Hotel was a truly delightful experience. The breakfast spread was exceptional, offering a wide variety of fresh, flavorful options that catered to every taste. The ambiance of the hotel is serene and beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with charming elegance. Whether enjoying a meal or relaxing in the common areas, the surroundings create a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were another highlight — always warm, polite, and eager to assist, making guests feel genuinely cared for. Their professionalism and friendliness added a special touch to the stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Service amazing, Spa, Restaurants, Cocktail bar and pool area were great. The rooms as per some of the other reviews need an upgrade, particularly the bathrooms. Toilet seat came off and shower/bath definitely showed its age. Aircon was also a bit noisy. If they could upgrade the rooms it would deserve a 5 star rating.
