We had a wonderful stay at Lindos Imperial Resort & Spa and would highly recommend it for both families and couples.
The location is lovely, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed at the end of May, which was the perfect time to visit—not too hot, and the sea was still quite cool but comfortable enough for swimming.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. One thing to be aware of is that the beach is rocky, so we recommend bringing special beach shoes, which make getting into the sea much easier.
The food was good overall, although we felt there could be a little more variety, especially for longer stays.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Rhodes. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Definitely not a 5-star hotel - more like a weak 3-star standard. Broken tiles, missing grout, leaking showers, and no hot water. We waited over an hour for check-in at around 2:30 AM, even though there were only about 6 rooms to be assigned and just one receptionist handling everything incredibly slowly. Imagine the frustration after a 4.5-hour trip, only to wait another 1.5 hours to finally get your room.
To make things worse, renovation work started at 7 AM the same day - drilling and hammering walls - so we couldn’t sleep after the long journey and late check-in 🤦♂️ First impression of the hotel was terrible.
The food was poor and repetitive. Lunch and dinner in the main restaurant were basically the same every day and not very tasty. The à la carte restaurants were nothing special either - only the Asian restaurant was somewhat decent.
Our shower leaked constantly, and our friends had no hot water for a day because apparently it had to be “turned on.” The public bathrooms were a disaster - often dirty and not cleaned properly, especially the ones near the beach.
The only positives were the staff, who were friendly and helpful, and the bartenders, who made great drinks and definitely didn’t go easy on the alcohol.
Overall, I definitely would not come back to this hote

First of all, as today is our last day, I wanted to leave a review about our stay.
A huge thank you to Agnes for making our anniversary so special. Both my husband and I were secretly trying to surprise each other with a romantic package, and she managed everything perfectly without making it obvious. I was genuinely surprised, and it made our anniversary unforgettable.
I’d also like to thank the women working at the main lobby bar, both during the mornings and evenings. The morning bartender made amazing frappes and iced lattes, while the evening bartender prepared fantastic cocktails and alcoholic drinks. They were always friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have a good experience with the men working at the main pool bar during the day and the activity pool bar at night. Every time I asked for two drinks, they seemed to split one drink into two glasses, leaving us with two half-filled drinks instead of proper servings. They would also speak negatively about guests in their own language, and we even heard swearing as we walked away. Luckily, we have Greek friends, so we understood what was being said. Their attitude felt rude and unprofessional, which was disappointing. Thankfully, all the other bartenders and waiters around the hotel were kind, smiling, and respectful.
There is also a gate by the main pool that really should be opened, as guests currently have to walk all the way around instead of using the direct path.
The lobby bar also seemed to close around midnight because the lights would be turned off, even though the app states it is open until 1am. The same issue applied to the main pool crepes and ice cream bar, which we never actually saw open at night.
Personally, I loved the beach and seaside area. It was much less crowded, more peaceful, and far more relaxing than the pool areas.
The buffet food was absolutely amazing. Every day and every meal, I found something delicious to eat. I would only suggest adding more summer fruits such as watermelon, melon, strawberries, and similar options.
The restaurants were extremely difficult to book. We originally wanted to try the steak restaurant, but it was closed. Instead, we booked the Mexican restaurant, and unfortunately it was the worst meal we had during our stay. The meat was extremely chewy and difficult to eat, and the dessert seemed undercooked/raw.
On the same day, we also received raw chicken nuggets from the main pool snack bar. As soon as I noticed blood inside them, I threw them away immediately.
Unfortunately, both my husband and I became sick the following day and had to stay in our room for most of the day. We are feeling much better now, although still not completely recovered. Nobody wants to experience possible food poisoning during their holiday, so this is definitely something that needs serious improvement.
One day, the water stopped working while I was mid-shower, which was unfortunate, although understandable since the entire area apparently had no water at the time.
The hotel itself could really benefit from a proper renovation, as there are many visible leaks around the lobby and other areas.
On a positive note, the reception staff were excellent! Always friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
Overall, I would give this hotel 4 stars. Most of the staff were genuinely kind and friendly, which made a big difference to our experience. The buffet food was fantastic, the drinks were great, and our anniversary surprise was very special. Without those positives, I honestly would have rated the hotel much lower.

This was our first time in Rhodes, and our stay at Lindos Imperial has been absolutely amazing. I emailed the hotel in advance to let them know it was my son’s birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it special. The room was beautifully decorated (at a small cost), and my son was thrilled. They even surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake, a bottle of champagne, and wine — such a thoughtful gesture.
The customer service throughout our stay has been excellent.
Andreas at the reception checked us in and looked after our needs through out our stay . He was very welcoming , great smile and made our holiday a dream. Great service Andreas !!
The staff are polite, friendly, and very attentive. Special thanks to Emanuel the barman, who knew my regular drink by heart after just a few days — impressive!
When it comes to food, the à la carte restaurants definitely stood out for their quality and flavour, although the kids preferred the main buffet restaurant with its wide variety of choices.
The entertainment has been fantastic — from the water slides and live music to the beautiful beach and kids’ activities, there was always something for everyone to enjoy.
Overall, we had a wonderful family holiday and would happily return to Lindos Imperial. Highly recommended for families looking for a mix of relaxation and fun!

Very disappointing experience overall, especially for a hotel that claims to be 5-star. Problems started from the moment we arrived. Check-in took well over an hour despite the hotel not appearing particularly busy, and after travelling for hours we weren’t even offered water while waiting.
That said, I do want to mention that the staff themselves were lovely and polite throughout our stay. The man handling check-in was clearly working alone and doing his best under pressure, so the frustration is more with the hotel management and organisation than the employees themselves.
The biggest issue was the food. Every single day the buffet was almost exactly the same, with very little variety and most dishes tasting bland or reheated. After a couple of days it became repetitive and honestly frustrating considering how much we paid for the stay.
To make things worse, the cutlery and plates were often visibly dirty, which immediately raised concerns about hygiene standards.
Unfortunately those concerns turned out to be justified. On the second day of our stay, everyone in our group became seriously ill with food poisoning after eating at the buffet on the first night. It completely ruined the holiday, and even now that we are back home, some of us are still unwell and recovering.
We lost 2 days of the holiday and spend the remainder feeling ill instead of enjoying the facilities, and the hotel staff didn’t seem particularly concerned when we raised it. Seemed like this may be a regular occurrence so this doesn’t shock them.
The hotel itself looks nice in photos, but the overall experience did not match the 5-star reputation at all. Poor food quality, repetitive meals, and serious hygiene concerns.
Nice photos and a fancy lobby can’t make up for poor hygiene and an experience that left guests sick.
I would not return or recommend this hotel to anyone.
