Back from one week in this amazing hotel
! From day one till the last day, we felt welcomed, supported, and advised. The hotel's architecture and decor are superb, featuring raw materials like wood and stone. The sea-view room with its large balcony is very pleasant. The buffets are extraordinary, original, varied, and high-quality. The staff is welcoming, professional, and attentive; the housekeeping staff are particularly friendly and professional. The location is exceptional, close to the beach, palm trees, and the lagoon: a landscape that changes with the tides. The infinity pool is perfect for relaxation, and the solarium could be larger given the size of the hotel. In short, the best place to unwind. It's very rare, but we could come back a second time because our stay was so pleasant.

Wonderful stay here. So calm, great variety of food in all buffets, infinite pool and great views to the beach. This is a dream come true. Special thanks to the Team who made it so special, always so caring and attentive. Danke Pedro for being a great host, Simone for all his welcoming and so caring time dedicated to our well being and Patricia from Reception. You all have made this trip unforgettable.

Before my review of Hotel Paradisus by Meliá Fuerteventura, I want to highlight a few standout impressions from our stay.
food quality was absolutely exceptional, easily among the best I’ve ever had at a resort. Every meal, from breakfast to dinner, was consistently top-notch, but what made me truly wonder is that they used rare and rich ingredients, which is not typical for an all-inclusive resorts. Seriously: brand alcohol, lobsters, fresh avocado, amazing omelettes and super friendly people who prepare them for you.
Then there’s the location — remote, yes (you should organise a transfer in advance otherwise you can stuck at the airport for a couple of hours like us. Taxi is about €150 return)
But that isolation is also what makes it so special!!! The hotel sits amid breathtaking natural islolated sand beauty: endless dunes, vast open views (another suggestion: BOOK A SEAVIEW ROOM), and a serene quietness that you simply can’t find in more crowded parts of the island. It’s a place where you can actually breathe, disconnect, and soak in the landscape, enjoy the best what Spanish hospitality can offer.
A huge part of what made our experience unforgettable was the team at the front office. Bellman Sasha and the receptionist Pedro did a wonderful job— professional, warm, and genuinely caring. And Lucas, the concierge, deserves special recognition for going above and beyond to make our stay with my mom truly memorable. His kindness, attention to detail, and local insights turned our holiday into something we’ll remember for a lifetime.
The re-opening of Paradisus by Mélia Fuerteventura deserves a special recognition, it’s the place to be, while the price point makes the offer even more attractive. Huge thank you! We already dream about our return!

The place is lovely. Rooms, pool, restaurant etc, all lovely.
However, there are soooooo many tiny ants in the hotel room. You cannot have any hint of food in the room or you will get infested. And even if you keep the room spotless they still appear, even in the bed! Such a shame because the beds are amazing, but try getting a decent night's kip when there are ants in the bed!
Also, it is very remote and there isn't a single shop nearby so there is nowhere to buy water (unless you rent a car). They charge 6€ for 750ml bottle of water! When I asked if the tap water was safe to drink they just kept saying "you can buy bottled water at the bar". I still don't know if tap water was safe to drink as they would not give me a straight answer. The solution - take as much (free) bottled water from breakfast as you can smuggle in your bag.
Sadly I won't be back because of the ants.
