We’ve stayed at Iberostar Founty Beach around 7–8 times over the past 6–7 years, and it’s been great to see how much the service and food quality have improved.
The buffet now offers a wide variety of options and the food is consistently excellent. Location-wise, it’s perfect – right by the beach, which is a big plus.
The staff are always friendly and helpful, and there’s usually plenty of space in the dining area, even at busy times. Afternoon tea is a lovely touch – the fresh donuts are a huge hit! That said, the 4–5pm serving window causes long queues. It would be great if they could serve them earlier or have more staff preparing them to ease the wait.
A few things could still be improved: the room lighting is quite dim and could definitely be upgraded. Also, even though we booked a double room, we were given two singles pushed together, which made for a poor night’s sleep. Lastly, it would be nice if the hotel ensured there were no pork items on the buffet, as it would be more inclusive for many guests.
Another small issue is the pool deck chairs – they’re often “reserved” with towels early in the morning and left unused for hours. The hotel should try to manage this better so everyone has a fair chance to relax by the pool.
Overall, despite a few areas to improve, it’s a hotel we keep coming back to, and we’d definitely recommend it for its location, food, and great service.

This place is an easy 5/5. Food and drink are good, staff are wonderful. Cleaners, restaurant, bar, reception all very friendly. Location right next to the beach and the pools are great. If I was forced to put some negatives down it would be there was a bit of a wait to check in and the bed was a bit hard for me, but I am getting old. Entertainment good and an all round safe family atmosphere. I will definitely be returning with my teenagers, who are hard to please, so it must be good.

So you most probably looked for a package holiday and this hotel came up.
It looked amazing and all inclusive so why not !
This review is for you.
At first I had really high hopes for this hotel but it didn’t live to what I expected and here is way.
- The first night I arrived at night, the room was very close to the street, very noisy and couldn’t sleep well.
- spoken to them in the morning and they did actually change the room to another one which had a better view but guess what No wifi in the room
-NO WIFI For a whole week ‼️‼️
Tried to contact them and they said will restart the router 😅
Any ways, let’s go to the pool and relax, guess what again .ALL SUN BEDS ARE BOOKED with towels since 7 am every day ‼️
The disappointment doesn’t end there.
The entertainment at the pool is very loud and I mean really loud that you can hear it even in the room.
Noisy the whole day non stop,
- Dose it end there, No.
The buffet although acceptable is exactly the same food every day with hardly any meat choices.
Mainly very greasy and filled with saturated fat that can really hurt your tummy unless it’s made of steel.
The overall experience for the price was not acceptable.
And was not relaxing holiday at all.
Food is acceptable but disappointing.
Service is very average.
Finally the beach, although advertised as a private beach of the hotel. It’s just an area of sun-beds in the public beach and water is very cloudy.

Easy check in, great staff who make you feel welcome and relaxed. Everything you need is there. Fresh donuts at 4pm every day which are a must have. Champagne evening once a week which was a lovely surprise good range of drinks and food, they really can't do enough for you. I went with my wife and kids who are 16 and 18 and they absolutely loved it. Would definitely go back and highly recommend to couples or families as they really will look after you.

Wonderful staff and facilities made for a relaxing stay. Food was great and available for a nice period time each day. Pools are uncrowded, and staffed well with lifeguards. Staff very friendly and helpful.
