Hotel Carlos is okay for a few nights. I would avoid the B&B, as my one and only visit wasn't enjoyable due to a lack of staff. They sadly looked like they were broken and needed a lot more help. Check-in and check-out were fine for me, but it didn't look the same for everyone. If Hotel Carlos improved the comfort of the rooms and sorted out the food hall, then I would return.

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would.This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst stays I have ever experienced, and I left feeling frustrated, uncomfortable, and thoroughly unimpressed.
The service was absolutely atrocious. Staff were not just unhelpful — they were openly rude, dismissive, and at times borderline hostile apart from Ana on housekeeping and Leo on the bar they were really friendly and always had a smile on their faces. It genuinely felt as though guests were an inconvenience. One of the front desk lady’s was the worst of the lot: abrupt, unfriendly, and shockingly disrespectful from the moment we arrived. First impressions matter, and this one set the tone for what became a consistently unpleasant experience. It’s not beyond the realm of a possibility that the hotel is suffering from serious mismanagement, because the level of poor attitude and lack of professionalism was across the board. As a manager it is your job to set the standards and expectations, if staff are not meeting those standards and expectations you help them to achieve the standards and expectations or you let them go I have made those decision in the past if you can’t do it then management is not the career path for you.
As for the food — utterly unacceptable. The options were extremely limited, and what little was available was of embarrassingly poor quality. Being served undercooked meat is bad enough, but frankly, it’s inexcusable. The scrambled eggs were something else entirely — rubbery, flavourless, and so unnaturally processed that they tasted as though they’d been 3D printed rather than cooked in a kitchen.
Overall, this stay was a complete disaster. Rude staff, dreadful service again part from Ana on housekeeping and Leo on the bar. The food that borders on inedible — it’s a combination that speaks volumes. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere unless serious and immediate improvements are made.

Cleanliness of hotel is 10/10, we stayed mid Sept and the pool was quite quiet with plenty of beds around it free. The hotel is good distance walk from the new town and strip but taxis are really reasonably priced however your within walking distance to loads of shops, restaurants and bars. Would recommend this hotel however was not too fussed on the food during buffet.

We stayed here for 4 nights, the rooms were poorly cleaned as we had to be moved to another room, I've blonde hair, and there was black hair over the floor and in the shower and there was stuff skit up the skirting board and wall. Our window was broken and wouldn't lock. Our balcony door was broken on our 3rd night we where able to lock it up until then it looked like someone had booted it from outside as you can climb easily from one side to the other and when requested for someone to come fix it, no one was sent so my husband took pictures and went do to reception and he was told they would have no one until morning to looked at it which wasn't acceptable we hadn't had our dinner and didn't feel comfortable leaving our room with the door broken, so we were giving a new room. The hotel also doesn't cater for English people for the time of year. Food was all Spanish. Our walls were paper thin, people in the room beside may aswell of been in our bed when being intimate as their bed was bouncing off our wall making our bed move to their motion at 3am. We did enjoyed our holiday benidorm is a very nice place and we would go again, but I wouldn't say this hotel is 4*

We like our staying at this hotel. Free early check in, good services, excellent food (a great variety of fish, meat, vegetables and fruits), the beach is a 8-minute walk, the sea is amazing. Interesting evening shows. Late check out. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
