A four nights stay, a couple of weeks ago. Fabulous cliff top location, and outstanding views from our 9th floor room, with balcony.
Delighted with our room. The bed, although a bit on the firm side, was very comfortable .
All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were greeted with a refreshing glass of juice when checking in.
The lift was a bit old, but worked fine.
Breakfast and dinner was a buffet. Lots of choices, but the food tended to be warm, rather than hot, but nevertheless tasty.
Really lovely roof terrace, with magnificent views, serving drinks and food.
It’s an energetic walk into Town, especially coming back up, but we loved the exercise, We want to come back again next year.

This hotel is truly worth the highest praise. It’s a small hotel with about 180 rooms, yet very cozy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with stunning ocean views. The food is delicious and varied, and the gym offers an amazing view of the ocean. Both restaurants also boast breathtaking ocean vistas.
Down by the pool, the view is directly of the majestic Teide, and up top there are 3 large jacuzzis. The beds are very comfortable for couples, and there are plenty of single beds with cool water washing over them—perfect for just dipping your feet 🥰. The views are absolutely stunning, with a panoramic view of both the city and Teide. The cocktails and food are incredibly tasty.
The hotel is adults-only but worth every 💸. It also has an amazing spa complex that’s definitely worth a visit 👌. New Year’s Eve was simply wow—every detail thoughtfully planned. This hotel has stolen our hearts ❤️ We will definitely be coming back and I can see us celebrating Christmas and New Year here every year 🇪🇸🫶
Signed: In love with Puerto de la Cruz & Atlantic Mirage Hotel 🇪🇸🫶👌😍

We were happy with our stay. The staff is incredibly nice. Gustavo always greeted us with a smile and kind words at the restaurant and the waiters work very fast. I don’t understand how some people can complain about the food. We stayed for 8 nights and there were always planty options during breakfast and dinner - live cooking station, different fruits and vegetables, a few kinds of fish, meat and cheese.
The one thing that disappointed us was the spa. It really isn’t worth 20 EUR. There are not enough hooks to hang towels. The sauna is very small, and people are not told even basic sauna etiquette, so they enter wearing slippers. When we were there, it was crowded and anything but a relaxing place.
We visited in January, so parking was not a big issue - we could always find a spot either in the hotel parking lot or on nearby streets.
Most of the guests were retirees from Germany and the UK.

Review from a couple from England, late 20s/early 30s
This is such a fab hotel with lovely, friendly staff, and an AMAZING sea view.
Pros:
- Friendly welcome from staff and a welcome drink
- Modern and big rooms with double sinks and a very cool colour-changing shower
- Sea view, the sound of the waves, beautiful colour water, and a very private balcony
- Lots of choice at breakfast and dinner, always warm/hot and refilled regularly
- Staff always say holla and are very attentive
- Lovely hot tubs on the roof terrace. We went in October and had to wait for one as they were all full. Wait time: around 10mins until one became available - as expected as there’s only three
- Pool area is lovely and very clean
- Drinks are really nice and reasonably priced (you pay for your drinks at dinner with half board)
Cons/feedback:
- The parking is the most annoying thing about this hotel, but it wouldn’t stop us coming back. If you arrive back at the hotel after 4pm (after a nice day out), prepare for 10-20 mins of driving around (sometimes longer) to find a space in the near by local streets. The hotel only has around 25 spaces. We were picky though as we didn’t want our rented car to get scratched!
- It would be nice to have a couple of minutes to think about your drink order when you sit down for dinner. Instead, the staff come over as you’re walking to a table and ask straight away. You need to ask for a couple of mins if you don’t already know your order.
We loved our stay!
Thanks everyone for a magical holiday🥰

We stayed at this hotel in autumn, and it took me some time to write this review as I wanted to reflect calmly and not be driven by emotions. Unfortunately, my impression has not changed.
Our room had a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. It was so intense that we regularly woke up because we could taste it on our tongues. Besides the disgust we felt, it clearly cannot be healthy either. Even ventilating the room / keeping the terrace door open did not help at all. We reported the issue three times asking them for help (and lastly a room change), and the problem was never resolved. (they applied some liquid or similar, but it didn't help a tiny bit)
What made the experience truly disappointing was the hotel’s response. Management did firstly not believe us and ultimately wanted us to leave instead of finding a proper solution. No sincere apology, upgrade, or alternative room was offered. They even "forced" us to decide asap if we wanna leave and metaphorically "kicked us out" without any regret. We therefore checked out (after 3 nights of enduring the issue) one night earlier — something we have never done at any hotel before. We only received a refund for that last night.
We travel frequently and understand that issues can occur. However, the lack of empathy, problem resolution and customer orientation, is the reason we cannot recommend this hotel. A room change would have easily solved this issue.
