We stayed here for 10 days and had a fabulous holiday. Our accommodation was a two-bedroom apartment, and the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning.
The bed deserves a special mention—it was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in while abroad, with a lovely memory foam mattress that made for a great night's sleep.
Were there a few issues with the apartment? Yes, but none of them affected our stay. There were some small areas of mould in the bathroom and one of the bedrooms, and the apartment was showing signs of wear in places. However, the property is currently undergoing renovations, so I imagine these issues will be addressed in due course. As far as we're concerned, it didn't impact our holiday. A holiday is often what you make of it—you can focus on the negatives and let them spoil your trip, or enjoy the experience and make the most of it.
The staff were lovely, and the grounds and public areas were always clean and well maintained, despite the ongoing renovation work.
The location is also very good, with easy access to both the Old Town and New Town. The only thing to be aware of is the cardiac hill depending on which direction you're coming from! Fortunately, you can avoid it by using the steps located at the far left corner as you leave the main entrance.
The laundry room was out of service during our stay, but the hotel does provide gym and shower facilities, which are especially useful if you have a late flight after checkout.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily consider booking here again in the future.

I stayed here during the winter month, it was for some winter sun and get some bargains in Fund Grube. I had stayed at the Fariones Hotel a few months prior for 2 weeks which I knew I wasn't getting the luxury which is fine because you pay for what you get and as I said it was winter sun and shopping. I did however request a nice room with sunshine on the balcony. On arrival around (8/8.30pm) met with a brash sharp receptionist, who did not want to be met with any questions or issues. Her attitude was appalling for front of house, not what should be the face of your first impression of a business. We were sent to the second part of the complex and what I can only describe as being dirty, dark, disgusting and neglected. The lifts looked like they might crumble due to the age and state of them. I am normal size and I wouldn't trust using them. I carried the bags up and down the stairs, the corridor was dull and dingy and we passed a room with water coming out the door (which we now understand why after our room) The key and tag was as vintage as the accommodation, the door wouldn't open, you had to jiggle the key numerous times and kind of pull the door towards you when you are twisting key, on inspection the lock had been moved numerous times all the previous cuttings and nail marks were all there! I put a chair to the door at night as one shoulder charge and you were in that room, the whole place inside was just patched, the water in the toilet gurgled constantly when you ran the sink in kitchen, bathroom sink or shower we now know why the other room was flooded, and the toilet would bubble the water! (In all my years staying I never came across accommodation in Lanzarote that wanted the toilet paper put in the bins beside the toilet and not flushed down the toilet and to top it off no lids and the cleaner didn't see her for the 2 days we stayed in that room in the house of horrors, how unhygienic. It also was extremely slow to drain in the kitchen, sink and shower it was rotten. I went to reception told them unacceptable the unforgiving unpleasant front desk took receptionist took the information from me but was little help told me nothing available, 2 days later after wishing I was at home I went back down again and was told they tried to contact me but my phone didn't ring..this is a first I have never experienced this to be the case! How in ever we got moved to the front part of the building. The Shower / Toilet situation was better, rooms and living area much brighter, but still so badly put together. the gate to the balcony was swollen and wouldn't close properly and the sliding door lock acted up it took couple of attempts each time leaving to ensure locked. Like I said I wasn't expecting 5 star Fariones but this really was poor and badly put together, the receptionist on arrival really didn't help the situation. Whether she is still there or not needs to learn to have some people skills. There were many other issues with the place. We didn't eat there so it is unfair to give the 1 for the service (bar or food) but that is solely on the sourness from the first member of staff Its a pity because it is off the strip for the noise but close enough to the restaurants and beach and just a stroll back up.

Stayed here for a week. Staff are excellent nothing a bother to them. Super clean rooms with all you need. Great pool bar and restaurant.No problem getting sunbed around pool. Good location to strip and old town .Will definitely be back Thankyou

I recently just returned from a 10 days holiday staying here the reason I'm giving the rooms a 1 star is because on day 6 of my holiday we were woken up in the middle of the night with cockcroaches in our beds in the kitchen area and also the bathroom i also spoke with our neighbour who also had them as well i understand that u do get them in hot countries but for them to be in our beds is unacceptable,the rooms are a ok standard but can do with some work on them like fixing things like broken plug sockets also fridges need cleaning and need to be updated as ours were not very cold i know it states no air con but the standing fans are awful and very dirty.
With saying this the staff were very helpful I spoke to teresa and Claudia who were so helpful in regards to the cockcroaches and asked to moved to a balcony room as we were on the ground floor and they moved us as soon a a room was available to a balcony which was better in regards to the cockcroaches we didn't see any but room was not the best sofa was really dirty and broken plug sockets plus kitchen equipment was dirty,I didn't make any further complaints as like I said the staff did do there best to accommodate for us when we asked to be moved and we only had 4 more days to go so I just want to enjoy the rest of the holiday with my family otherwise the grounds are lovely just the rooms need a little updating and work. Was a shame that the other pool wasn't open due to work which we was made aware of so hopefully they will do some work and update on block A now, location was good only a short walk to the main strip and beach but unfortunately I wouldn't stay here again.

Lovely spacious apartments, friendly staff. Location not too far from Old Town, but lots of steps down to the main strip unless you want to walk a long ways around. The pool was lovely, poolside food bar choice was limited but what we had was nice enough for the price
