Exceptional Management and Breathtaking Views, with a Vital Safety Suggestion
Gloria Palace Amadores is a destination where the architecture honors the horizon. The Infinity Pool is a masterpiece of light and space, the rooms are impressively spacious, and the All Inclusive offerings from the refined drinks to the quality of the meals are handled with impeccable care.
What truly sets this hotel apart is its reception and management team. They possess a rare level of professional "clear sightedness." They actively track any issues guests encounter during their stay, following up via phone, letter and email to ensure resolution. It is refreshing to see a hotel so genuinely dedicated to the art of hospitality and continuous improvement.
However, I must offer a constructive warning regarding the Thalasso Center. Despite being highly aware of my surroundings and exercising extreme caution, I still sustained a sharp cut due to the obscured steps edges under the low visibility saltwater. This injury was a significant loss, as it prevented me from swimming for the rest of my holiday.
My recommendation to the hotel: To match your excellent service standards, I suggest installing underwater lighting or high visibility warning strips on all submerged edges. Even the most careful guest can be caught off guard by these hidden hazards.
I appreciate the management's professional response including refund entrance fee of spa and a future upgrade. I look forward to returning to a safer, even more refined experience.

Great location for a hotel and all rooms have a sea view. The hotel is very clean although it does need updating everywhere as it’s a little old fashioned. The staff are all welcoming. The entertainment is a bit cheesy and out of date although some people seemed to be enjoying it. Lots of sun loungers but the best ones are taken by people who think it’s ok to put a towel down then rock up to the sundeck gone 11am. Drinks are reasonably priced but not very strong. The buffet area is one huge room, abit like a canteen which can be very noisy. There is a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the sea but unfortunately they would not accommodate a table for 6 people so if we as a party of 6 wanted to dine outside we had to sit separately for the whole holiday. I did ask if there was any way we could sit outside together and the answer was it’s not possible. Buffet food is nice and lots of Choices. It would have been nice to have real butter and not just margarine, also some seeds, nuts and berries etc for breakfast would be good. We used the Spa which we enjoyed although again it needs updating. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We did encounter a lot of rude people while we were there for some reason, table grabbing and pushing in at the buffet. It’s not the hotels fault but it did impact on our relaxation as it seemed constant. There are 2 infinity pools, one is heated. Despite there being a big children’s pool area they seemed to gravitate to the infinity pools to play catch. The room sizes are great with your own balcony and sun loungers. Lovely in the evening to watch the sun go down. Improvements could be made in the rooms… maybe a set of drawers rather than just the wardrobe which has sliding doors and somewhere to put away your suitcase s as they were in the middle of the room the while whole holiday. Also plug sockets next to the bed rather than under the tables would help. Reception staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the management of Gloria Hotel and all its staff for the wonderful experience I had during my stay.
Everything was truly exceptional—from the reception staff, who were incredibly kind and professional, to the spacious room with its beautiful view, and the restaurant that offered rich, delicious meals with impressively fast service.
My thanks also go to the entire team for their cleanliness and constant friendliness, which greatly contributed to making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Thank you all, and I look forward to visiting again soon.
I would like to mention that the availability of halal food options was limited, which made it difficult for Muslim guests to choose suitable meals. It would also be greatly appreciated if each dish were clearly labeled with its ingredients to help guests make informed choices.

Very nice hotel, the restaurant has very good food and good variety of dishes. The dress code could be encouraged better, but the staff is friendly and service minded. In the different bars the staff is quick and the drinks are good. The room had a beautiful view of the pool area and the ocean. Large balcony with sun loungers and chairs and table. The cleaning staff made over room spotless every day. A bit expensive, but worth every penny. The hotel is within walking distance of Amadores beach and Puerto Rico with it's shop's and bars. The SPA was amazing with sauna, hammam and a large saltwater pool with lots of different massage spots

Fabulous hotel. Pretty much has everything you need for a holiday. All inclusive+ though is not ALL inclusive, there are some exceptions mainly for drinks that are available for sale but there is still a huge selection to choose from for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks etc. Different food theme every night. Plenty of friendly staff on hand to answer your every question and tend to your needs.
The room we had was very spacious for two people, sea view, fridge, hairdryer, what more do you need 😀. Oh and the beds were super comfy. 😴
Good size pools and pool areas with sunbeds available. Yes you read that correctly. Not once did I see rows and rows of towel only empty sunbeds, at any time of day, such a refreshing change from what's become the normal race and towel drop before 8am.
The spa pool (extra cost) was different from anything I'd seen before. It was extremely relaxing and the 25 minute massage was excellent and very reasonably priced too.
Great location. Five minute walk to Puerto Rico and ten (ish) to Amadorras.
Not only would I recommend this hotel, we will be back, hopefully next year. Fabulous.
