Good food and service, but unacceptable smoking around children
We stayed at Delphin Imperial and Delphin BE (July 23 - Aug 4). The staff was friendly, the food was good, and we really enjoyed the evening shows. The Imperial is overall fine, though it is in desperate need of renovation.
The most frustrating part of our stay was the smoking. Guests were allowed to smoke freely right next to children at the mini disco every evening. Our clothes smelled like cigarettes for days, and complaining to the staff did absolutely nothing. With most of Europe banning smoking near children, it is shocking that a family resort hasn't caught up. They need to do better.

Our experience here was truly wonderful. We stayed for 4 nights, and the level of service was consistently excellent from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The reception team, in particular, provided excellent service — they were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile.
What really stood out was that all of the staff were consistently friendly and attentive. Their genuine kindness and willingness to help made us feel very comfortable and valued throughout our stay.
The food was delicious with a great variety, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and a big part of that is thanks to the amazing staff. We would definitely love to come back!

We came to the Delphin Imperial.. 09-07-26 with our two children for 8 nights.
We had stayed at the Delphin Be Grand the year before wish we'd gone there again. Fab hotel!! everything that was expected down to food, drinks entertainment, so we thought we'll give the Imperial a go this year, by going off reviews etc this sounded perfect.
On arrival the checking in was very quick staff too very friendly and smiling which is nice to see. Beautiful main lobby, beautiful high standard deco.
Our room was a side sea view, we had full view over looking the lara beach strip and view of the water park, funfair and part of the sea which was very nice. The room was very clean and the cleaning team work very hard. Fresh towels daily and cleaned every day, mini bar stocked daily too and aircon just perfect for coming in from that hot sun.
Pool areas, are great especially the water parks plenty for kids to do, and the kids club always doing different activities with the children,my 4 year old loved being there. Also there is a little fun fair which is included in your stay this was very good for kids and was open from 7-9pm.
Entertainment on a night time was very good always something different on and had some amazing performances.
The only issue I had with one of the day time entertainment was Candy Land. They had done one of the snack bar area up into a candy theme land. The Be Grand had the exact same last year which theirs was a field so it was more room to get around and didn't seem to crowed. This one at the Imperial I was horrified, the adults was pushing the children out the way for the sweets and food even the staff was shocked by the way they went on. Grabbing hand fulls of sweets, filling their beach bags up. My 4 year old got crushed against the stall wedged in the corner that left her crying it was like a stampede I've never in my life seen fully grown adults go on the way they did for sweets it was like a bull fight. The children should of only been allowed to go in when the ribbon was cut. Absolutely disgusting it was.
Food and drink...
Lots of snack bars around the resort but very much repetitive. This was the same in the main restaurant, I think we only had one themed night out of the 8 nights being there which was Turkish night and the food was nice, but after that I noticed it was very much caterd for Germans, Russians, French. I'm not a fussy eater at all and even I was struggling most nights with food. Some foods I think my dog would of turned her nose up at.
The al a carts we didn't get to go in as always fully booked even going down very early in morning to make reservations it was impossible.
So most night we ate out, and it's not what you want to do when you've paid all this money for a 5* all inclusive plus hotel
I did make one complaint about a chef, my daughter who is autistic and only eats very little as it is wanted cheese pizza in the main restaurant. I looked there was none, I asked if a cheese pizza could be made the chef went off his head, pointing and waving his hands and arms about then talking in his own language to another chef. I reported this to one of the floor managers in the restaurant and he rang guest relations to come and see me. I told guest relations what had happend and his response was well if the chef don't want to make it what can I do. This wasn't good enough at all, why should I have to take my daughter out to McDonald's or go and find a cheese pizza on the strip and when I've read reviews people have said they have done things like this without any trouble. Soon as I said I will be complaining to his supervisor the pizza was sharp getting made by a lovely chef who came out from the back and was very helpful and so nice.
Drinks are very nice at certain bars , but at busy periods such the day time around the pools they are not as good. We found that the beach bar and in the hotel lobby area they was better.
Also I'd say get up early and put ya towels down as you'll find yourself looking around for a sun lounger.
Would I go back.. no
Was it worth the money we paid.. no

Hotel is large and has a huge variety of activities for the kids. The kids will love the place as it is mainly built around entertaining them. The interior is slightly dated and our AC did not work properly, but the weather was mild and we did not need to use it.
The buffet has lots of food and huge selection. The snack options are great. You will not get hungry there and likely gain several extra kilos.
The drinks are fine - local wine is horrible and headache material, local beer and arak is very decent. Lebanese a la carte restaurant was horrible, nothing was close to good. On the contrary, the seafood restaurant was the greatest, the fish was superb. The snack booths around the hotel offer a variety of food at certain hours.
Overall great hotel to spend with the kids as there is lots of things to entertain them.
Close to airport and easy to reach.
Taxi costs ca 25 eur (1300 lira) from the airport.

We have previously visited the Delphin Imperial during October for the last three years, and also stayed at the Delphin Be Grand the year before that.
We visited again in October 2025, and once again the staff and service are what make this hotel so wonderful. The food, hotel grounds, and overall atmosphere are outstanding – it’s easily our favourite hotel. We don’t usually return to the same place twice, but this is the one exception we’ve happily made.
A special mention to the Irish bar downstairs – the staff there are truly exceptional, going above and beyond every time. They really add something special to the experience.
That said, during this visit the hotel did seem noticeably busier than usual, and we did struggle at times to find a sun lounger.
Our main criticism, and unfortunately the reason we won’t be returning this year, is regarding the adults-only relax pool. In previous years here and at the Be Grand, we’ve really valued having access to a peaceful, adults-only space. Our children are now 18, so having that quieter environment is something we really appreciate.
We understand that the relax pool is open to children during the winter months (from November onwards), however we stayed in early October and found the pool to be overrun with noisy children.
With so many pools available for families and children throughout the hotel, it was disappointing that the one designated space for adults wasn’t maintained as such during our stay.
It’s a shame, as this has always been a key part of why we return. Unfortunately, this is the reason we won’t be booking again this year. We do hope this is something that can be reviewed in the future, as having a quiet adults-only pool really does make a difference.
