This hotel deserves nothing but 5*
Everything is great!
Hotel room was very clean with nice decor, coffe maker , bottle of water
Excellent bedding and comfy beds.
Nice pool and hotel grounds, also gym, playground.
Plenty of parking outside hotel and Dino supermarket next door.
Location is also good with town within short walk, plenty of beautiful beaches nearby and few minutes from the hotel on the rocks you can watch crabs.
Breakfast was standard, coffee was good. Didn't eat dinner so can't comment on this.
Everyone was also super nice and polite.
Would definitely return if I am ever back on the island. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Coral Reef Hotel in Fuerteventura. The hotel is new, modern and spotlessly clean. Everything looked fresh and well looked after, which made our stay really comfortable. A special thank you to Renny - the personal trainer. He is fantastic! Very knowledgeable, attentive and always motivating. He inspired us to start exercising and gave us some great tips on how to use the gym properly and get the most out of our workouts. A big thank you to Vivian, who did an amazing job keeping our room spotless every day. She was always so friendly and lovely to chat to. We'd also like to thank Maria, who helped us sort out a situation we had during our stay. She went above and beyond to help us and we really appreciated all her efforts. Sara & Marek

We booked a premium double with a pool view. The premium gave us a extra space, robes and 4 coffee pods and a few tea bags as well as bottled water, a bottle of fizz and some crisps and nuts. The coffee machine doubled as a kettle for tea. The room was clean and comfortable with twin beds. As we had a corner room, our balcony had a restricted view and we could see straight into the adjacent balcony, so I'd recommend not choosing a corner room.
Even though the hotel was full, it had a quiet, pleasant atmosphere and the pool area was really nice. There was also a gym.
It's well located for the main town and beaches.
All the staff were all friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was ok but not wonderful. The hot food wasn't that hot, the yogurts and fruit varied in the amount of choice. Good bread selection. I don't know about the meats and cheeses as I didn't try them.
I would stay here again, but in a premium room.

The hotel did a great job with renovating all rooms. They look and feel cozy and are extremely clean. The cleaning staff is doing an amazing job. I only had breakfast but this I really enjoyed as well. Big buffet with everything that one needs. Only problem is (and that's why it's not a 5 star rating) it's still an old hotel. Meaning even though the room don't look it the substance of the hotel is old. The walls are paper thin. You neighbor is snoring? Be prepared to hear it. You want to sleep in? Now way as starting half past 8 there will be so many people outside your door and it will feel like they walk right past your bed. You didn't want to know about the call the couple next door is having? Well now you know that aunty Katy is not feeling well. Fortunately, there were not many young people about so it was quite from 10pm onwards (this changed today, I pray the youngster will be tired).
Location of the hotel is good in general for staying in El Cotillo but a car is recommended (there is no hiring place close by).
All in all it's a good hotel and I enjoyed my stay.
Recommendation for the hotel staff: it would be better if you care about the pigeon problem. I'm not talking about the small brown ones but the grey street ones. Once they start being on the property you will not get rid of them easily and there will be more and more. And the most horrible thing would be an hotel area with pigeons walking around the pool and restaurant area.

Hotel Coral Cotillo Beach is fantastically located a short walk from incredible beach views. Pools were spacious and inviting, delicious food, and gym facility was well stocked.
The reception staff were very friendly, however on one occasion one of the restaurant porters (who may be a different person now) put his hands on me and practically shoved me out of the restaurant because I did not have small change to pay for dinner; I have never been treated so rudely in my life by a member of staff.
The room was comfortable, however there was no WiFi signal in mine despite paying for it (unlucky I suppose - had to go to the hall outside to get signal), and the shower would randomly turn on at night. Comfortable and clean enough for a stay however, with great views of the courtyard.
