Sunny Beach In A Snowflake
Hotel is a bit dated. Elevator was out of use. Some tiles missing from the pool. Room was a bit shabby but clean. There is a slight musty smell in the bathroom.
Breakfast was good, although occasionally a lot of the coffee machines were out of use which led to long queues.
There is a QR-code on the hotel room wall and following that code it says there is a special offer to upgrading from bed and breakfast to half board. The staff didn't know about the offer and they didn't sell it to us even though we showed them the offer. This is unacceptable. I gave feedback via hotels website but never got an answer. We took our money elsewhere which was actually a good thing because we found many lovely restaurants in El Cotillo.
El Cotillo was a very pleasant surprise! Big enough village offering restaurants, shops and superb beaches! Especially Playa del Aljibe de la Cueva in the South of the village and La Concha beach in the North were lovely. The northern part of La Concha is quite popular for nudists.
I would definitely want to visit El Cotillo again, but I wouldn't choose Hotel Coral Cotillo Beach.

Mixed Stay – Some Nice Touches, But Several Disappointments
The reception staff were genuinely excellent – warm, efficient, and very helpful throughout our stay. They really stood out as the highlight and made check-in/check-out a breeze.
Unfortunately, that’s where the positives largely ended. The listing clearly advertised a tennis court on site, but when we arrived there was none to be found – only a paddle tennis court was available. For anyone specifically looking forward to playing tennis (as we were), this was a big let-down and felt like false advertising.
In the room itself we were unpleasantly surprised by lots of small insects crawling around both on the floor, tables and in the bathroom. It wasn’t an infestation, but it was constant enough to be annoying and made the room feel unclean.
Another small but frustrating omission: there was no electric kettle in the room, which is pretty standard these days, especially when the description doesn’t warn you otherwise.
Overall, the friendly front desk team deserves praise, but the missing tennis court, insects, and lack of basic in-room amenities made the stay feel overpriced and underwhelming. We won’t be returning, and I’d advise others to double-check exactly what facilities are actually available before booking.

Enjoying a relaxing sunny break before our usual extended winter back home in less sunny Scotland. Twin room was exceptionally clean and spacious good sized bathroom with toiletries. Loads of hot water with over bath shower. Rooms cleaned daily. We went half board and the food was excellent with loads of choice and variety to suit all tastes. The resort is quiet as it is developing. If laying about the hotel pool or making use of the facilities such as gym is not for you there are many beaches a short walk away

A lovely hotel all in all. We travelled as a couple and found the prices and accommodating good. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food was varied. The toilet was slightly strange, continuously running water.

Sincerely can not fault this hotel or the staff, from Reception, Restaurant to Bar and cleaners first and foremost.
Rooms were kept immaculate every time they were cleaned, as were the pool and dining areas.
Everyone was GENUINELY pleasant and helpful every day. Not a fake smile at any time so clearly a very pleasant place to work as well.
Special shout out to Camila, Rene and Marko
