I stayed at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and had a great experience! The resort has an amazing environment—bright, lively, and full of energy. There’s so much to do right on the property with tons of casino options, great dining, and plenty of entertainment so you never feel bored.
While waiting to check in, we even received complimentary drinks, which was a really nice touch and made the long wait much more enjoyable. The resort itself is huge, clean, and full of things to explore. Between the hotel, casino, restaurants, and overall location, you really get the full Vegas experience in one place.
A solid 4 stars—would definitely stay again!

Front desk not familiar with guests status who are Marriot platinum and didn't offer info that would be helpful (food credit option, free parking as example). Late check out wasn't what is promised at the level and took multiple asks to get an extended checkout.
You must find and use the platinum Lounge area where they know what they're doing.
Property is very smoke heavy and bad odor everywhere. Rooms were pretty and spacious in the tower. Everything worked. No frig only mini bar, where if you remove anything they'll charge you even if you put it back. Want to keep leftover burger? No chance..
Burgers are great down at the Eolgang Puck restaurant by the way!!
Parking is a long haul and better keep track of your space if you self park $25 on weekends unless you have status. Even if app says 20 that's only midweek.
And a surprise $50 resort fee..
The guest atmosphere isn't elevated like it used to be. It's trashy..

I want to give a huge shoutout to Julio at the front desk of the MGM Grand! He was incredibly kind, patient, and so helpful during my family’s Thanksgiving trip. Julio went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect — he made sure our rooms were close to each other and even pulled out a map of the casino area to double-check the layout so everything was exactly right for us.
Thanks to his thoughtfulness and attention to detail, our Thanksgiving getaway was truly perfect. I really appreciate everything he did for us. Julio is a true asset to MGM Grand!

We had a wonderful stay at the MGM Grand and would definitely return! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was excellent—everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and eager to help. We arrived before the 3 PM check-in time, and we were pleasantly surprised to learn they offer complimentary luggage storage, which made it easy to explore the area while waiting for our room.
The room itself was spotless and very comfortable. It came with amenities including an iron and ironing board, a safe, and a large screen TV. One thing to note: there isn’t a standard fridge in the room—only a sensored mini bar that incurs a $50 fee if opened. However, the hotel does offer the option to rent a fridge for an additional charge if you need one.
The property has an impressive selection of restaurants and bars—there’s truly something for every taste. While the food and convenience items on-site are on the pricier side, there are a Target, CVS, and Walgreens within a reasonable walking distance, along with several nearby restaurants and shops, making it easy to grab affordable meals or last-minute essentials.
We also appreciated how easy it was to get around. The MGM Grand has direct access to the monorail and is right on the Strip, making it simple to explore Las Vegas without needing a car.
Checking in through the MGM mobile app was super convenient too. It gave we the option to use a digital key, though physical keys are also available. We really liked the added security measure in the elevators—you have to scan your key to access your floor, which made me feel safe during my stay.
Overall, the MGM Grand offers excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms, and a prime location with great amenities. It’s a fantastic place to stay in Las Vegas!

I want to leave a special thank you to the amazing front desk staff at MGM Grand Resorts, especially Cynthia. She was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. From the moment we arrived, she was so sweet, friendly, and attentive.
I have a coconut allergy, and she took it very seriously!! She personally checked all the products in our room and even left a note for the housekeeping team to make sure they avoided anything with coconut. That level of care and attention truly made me feel safe and cared for.
It’s rare to meet someone so genuine and dedicated to guest comfort. She absolutely made our stay even more special. Thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism!
