MGM Grand is much more than just a hotel—it's a destination on its own. You could easily spend an entire day here without ever leaving the property.
The casino is lively, the pool complex is perfect for relaxing, and there are plenty of restaurants and a food court offering options for every budget. Everything is well organized despite the size of the resort.
Be prepared to walk quite a bit because the property is enormous, but that's part of the Las Vegas experience.
If you're looking for a resort that combines entertainment, dining, and relaxation all in one place, MGM Grand is an excellent choice and a great base for exploring Las Vegas.

This is not a small hotel, this is a Grand hotel. We mostly ate off the strip, aside from the pool side food. We are a family of six with 4 teens they loved the lazy river and water fall area. Don't go here first week of August, 120degrees. It is too hot to be outside, even the hand held fans will not work. Check-in and Check-out was all digital. The only person we really spoke with was the housekeeper. There was a conference happening and it was crowded during the day. The pool is a strike away. Food options here are okay, lots of shows. To exit the hotel onto the strip is also a strike, but close to New York New York, M&M, Walgreens, Mini Target, ABC store for any essentials you might have forgotten.

One of the nicer casinos on the strip and most convenient with the monorail close by for easy access to mid strip casinos and shopping. They also have the Brad Garrett comedy club near the food court which hosts some of the better comedians I've seen there. The poker room is friendly, but bring a jacket or hoodie because it does get cold.

Such an overwhelming amazing place to experience!
Everything is Grand!!!
First us the checking in Experience, if your there at a good time, you can plan on waiting at least 15-30min to check in. If your in the rear of the line it can be up to an hour due to customers asking questions, looking for places or just general info.
Afterwards everything is vibrant and accessible for use but it requires some walking. I've walked over 12 miles in the course of 4 days which is great if your into fitness like myself.
If not " pace yourself ".
If you venture out onto the strip, know that there are working people all around you .." hustling for business ". Make wise choices with your finances and get clarity of price before engaging. The food is spectacular and far from ordinary depending on location.
The rooms are clean and spacious and offer mini bars for the party goers and drinkers.
Room service has a fee to deliver but the food is also great for late night hunger desires.
Outside of some of the particulars, enjoy!
Absorb the experience
Be safe
Budget wisely
Stay blessed!!!!

We were slightly worried about booking the Grand, we'd heard it wasn't the best, however I have to completely disagree. I absolutely love the location, out the way enough to not be too busy, but gets you onto the strip to start a tour perfectly well, and the monorail is brilliant and inside the hotel which will take you all over the strip at a very reasonable price. We loved the layout, it was spacious, not overcrowded anywhere. Some lovely bars out the way of the crowds were a great place to relax. The pool area is also brilliant, by far the best I seen over Vegas. I've previously stayed at the Aria but I prefer everything about the Grand.
