MGM Grand was a great stay for the family! The lazy river was definitely one of the highlights and gave us something fun to do without even leaving the hotel. There are tons of food options downstairs, so finding something everyone wanted was never an issue. The bar was great too, with good drinks and a nice atmosphere.
The food at the pool restaurant was actually really good, well portioned, and reasonably priced, especially for a Vegas resort. If you have a family with kids, I’d definitely recommend staying here. There’s plenty to do, and having so many food options right downstairs makes everything a lot easier.
The gym is a little small, but if you’re a health nut who refuses to let a Vegas vacation ruin your routine 😂, it definitely gets the job done.
My only real complaint is the AC. It definitely needs to be able to go lower. The lowest setting was 72°F, and even with it set there, our room stayed around 75°F, so we were hot. Being able to set it around 69–70°F would make a huge difference, especially in the Vegas heat. Sadly, this is the one thing that may cause me not to book here again because being comfortable and able to sleep in a cool room is important.
Other than the AC, we really enjoyed MGM Grand. The lazy river, food, drinks, and family-friendly atmosphere made for a great trip. Fix the AC situation and I’d have a hard time finding a reason not to come back! But I can’t sleep at 75 degrees I’m sorry.

MGM Grand is much more than just a hotel—it's a destination on its own. You could easily spend an entire day here without ever leaving the property.
The casino is lively, the pool complex is perfect for relaxing, and there are plenty of restaurants and a food court offering options for every budget. Everything is well organized despite the size of the resort.
Be prepared to walk quite a bit because the property is enormous, but that's part of the Las Vegas experience.
If you're looking for a resort that combines entertainment, dining, and relaxation all in one place, MGM Grand is an excellent choice and a great base for exploring Las Vegas.

Just watched Jay Leno stand up. An hour and a half of good clean (some innuendo) fun. As a Brit, I understood almost all references and was still laughing all the way home! Go and see him if you get the chance!
All staff were polite and attentive. Great night in Vegas!

One of the nicer casinos on the strip and most convenient with the monorail close by for easy access to mid strip casinos and shopping. They also have the Brad Garrett comedy club near the food court which hosts some of the better comedians I've seen there. The poker room is friendly, but bring a jacket or hoodie because it does get cold.

This whole stay was an overall mixed feel but good none the less. Parking was inconvenient for a start also we did not know once you get your room key card you can charge your parking to it and come and go from the parking lot using your room key card unit the parking attendant on the help line told us. Other than that the rooms were clean, beautiful and well lit. The hotel itself is HUGE!!! You actually don’t even have to leave there is so much to do and see between shops, food, gambling and shows as well as the pools and spas. I do highly recommend staying here as well simply for its location to everything on the strip.
