Overall, we were satisfied with our stay in H10 Playa. The hotel offers everything you need in a week stay, but needs some renovations. They are actually busy with renovating right now (Nov 2025). It wasn’t noisy where we stayed and ate.
The room doors are super loud so if you are a light sleeper, you will be woken up early every morning. The shower was leaking and we had to wait a bit longer for the lifts. Other than that, everything worked well.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the bar and its service. Quality of food and drinks was definitely better than other 4* hotels in Spain/Portugal where we stayed in the past 3 years. We especially appreciated the service of Raul and Mario. Thank you for a lovely stay!

DO NOT BOOK the all inclusive with this hotel. There is a fridge in your room but with nothing inside. No necessary utensils (cups/glass/spoon) or complementary stuff like tea. You can hear the people on the next room. At the bar area, service is a bit unfair - the table next to us got to order drinks 3 times we only get 1 time, we even approach the other bartender, but said we have to wait for the waiter which we did, but just passes us everytime we try to get her attention. It makes us feel like they perfer other customers and we book the all inclusive - should add another staff to get the orders during busy hours. .Food is really oily and not worth for all inclusive. Also disappointing service - waiter appointed us a table then after we got the food from the counter, somebody already took our place. So we move to another table ,but the waiter/staff saw us and they were so rude telling us not to sit on that table, yeah we knew we have to wait to be sitted, but they also have to pay attention where to assign the guests to be sitted. That table was empty by the way should have just made us sit there. The beds are old and uncomfortable when you move they squeek alot. Been to a cheaper hotel/airbnb at least they give you a kettle coffee mugs and even coffee, but no such thing here- which is very surprising. Like booking all inclusive but not even a complimentary water????. Not worth to stay for a couple of days. And this is just day 2 here will update

Check-in: + 5. Took a while but he was very informative.
Room: 3. we received an ‚upgrade‘ to a family room. Which meant we had to listen to the screaming child next door. Thx.
Restaurant: ~4. Overall the food was ok. Breakfast very good; dinner a bit of a toss between the two nights.
Compared to what H10 publishes for Grand Class members (which we are):
5% discount - ok
Welcome gift - no
Lunch bon for two - ok
20% off bars and restaurants - no
Daily turndown service - ok
Bathroad & slippers - no
Hot watter kettle in the room - no
Complimentary minibar - no
The last time we booked with H10 was for their hotel in Adeje (where we got an upgrade to a bungalow, were served a bottle of cava, and were treated to a very personal and welcomng experience). There you really do get the full benefits of being a Grand Class member; in PdlC, obviously not. Which is too bad as they are in a perfect location.
Tough to give a recommendation as the experience fell well below meet expectations.

Worst Hotel ever!
Not sure if 4 stars still means anything when I see what’s going on here.
The buffet is very dirty, the staff just puts out dirty dishes right out of the (malfunctioning?) dishwasher and doenst care about it.
Most dishes are dirty so you need to hunt for ceanish ones. It’s not just on a single day either, it’s every day.
Food is also very lacking in flavor but full of oil to make it somewhat tasty. It’s obvious that they use leftovers to prepare new meals.
Food is also cold most of the time regardless when you arrive (cold even when the buffet just opens)
Rooms are tiny, windows and doors aren’t even remotely noise tight
Not recommended! Not even if it was 1/2 price or labeled as a two star hotel

After two years staying in beautiful hotels outside the centre of Puerto de la Cruz, we chose H10 for its supposedly good international standard.. big mistake.
Check-in was painfully slow, with a long queue and an inefficient system. A kind German lady gave us the right information, except for one key detail: we needed to collect a tag for pool towels. We only found out later and had to queue again for 15 minutes, as she was no longer there.
In our room, a clump of hair was under the coffee table. Nobody came to clean it until the next day. No kettle was provided until hours later, and the TV offered almost only German or Spanish channels with poor reception.
At check-in they mentioned an à-la-carte menu for Privilege guests, but when we went, it was buffet only. The “Asian night” buffet was mediocre — tough meat and old-smelling fish. Breakfast the next morning was chaotic: too few waiters, slow service, and poor food quality.
One elevator was broken for our entire stay, forcing guests to walk down to the ground floor to catch another.
The pool area was pleasant, surrounded by trees and sunshine, but that was the only relaxing part.
The last breakfast was a total mess: tables double-booked, confused staff, long waits, and no service. Many guests, like us, ended up leaving the à-la-carte area to serve themselves at the buffet.
The hotel’s only positives are its location and a few polite staff members doing their best despite a completely untrained and disorganized management.
Facilities are old and the service amateurish. Definitely not a 4-star experience — and we will never return.
