Here's a concise, balanced review that highlights both the positives and negatives: We had high expectations, but unfortunately this hotel was disappointing overall. The hotel is built on a steep hill, with the rooms, restaurant, pool, and other facilities spread across the property. A road runs through the resort and is regularly used by service vans and cars, so it doesn't feel like a safe, enclosed resort where children can freely run and play. The biggest disappointment was the food. The quality was very poor, with cheap pastries and some of the lowest-quality ham and meat we've experienced at a hotel. There were also very limited options for guests with dietary requirements—no lactose-free or vegan milk for coffee and no sugar-free soft drinks. The service also needs significant improvement. Bar staff often seemed overwhelmed, took a long time to serve guests, and frequently had to ask for the same order multiple times. Tables in the restaurant were not cleaned properly, and overall the staff appeared stressed, which affected the guest experience. Other downsides include the gym opening only at 10:00 AM, which is far too late for guests who prefer to work out before breakfast or the beach, and the fact that drinking water is not provided free of charge in the restaurant. On the positive side, the family rooms are spacious enough for a family of four, and some offer beautiful sea views. There is also a water slide by the pool, although this is essentially the only entertainment available for children. Overall, this hotel has potential because of its location and room size, but the poor food, weak service, lack of family-friendly design, and limited facilities make it difficult to recommend.

We just ended our holliday in this hotel. Family of four, and it was wonderful. Our room was spacious, the bathroom also. The staff was warm and friendly. Towells were changed daily and rooms were kept clean. The beach is 5 minutes cosy walk away from the hotel. Sunbeds on the beach are free for the guests. Food is very good and the dining area is clean. We paid for HB accommodation and it was mor than enuff. The wifi signal is excellent in any part of the hotel. This was our first visit to the hotel, and we are more than satisfied. Deffinitely will come again. Kids loved the place. Big praise for Jelena who works at the reception. See u next year!

Exceptional stay once again! We had an incredible time at Alexandros Palace. The room was wonderful with a stunning view, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the overall atmosphere was super relaxing. We’ve been coming back here and it never disappoints. This was our third consecutive stay at Alexandros, and once again, we were truly impressed by our experience. From the moment we arrived, we received the same warm welcome we have come to expect—full of smiles, genuine hospitality, and personal attention that made us feel at home. Our room had a beautiful sea view, was fully renovated, and was impeccably cleaned every single day. Everything was comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully maintained. We were also pleasantly surprised by the new additions to the restaurant's menu introduced by the new chef. Congratulations to the chef for the excellent work! The food was varied and delicious, offering something for every taste—from outstanding fresh Greek fish and perfectly grilled specialties to Italian dishes and many other options. Every meal was a pleasure. The staff, as always, were friendly, professional, and eager to help with anything we needed. Their positive attitude and dedication make a real difference and create a wonderful atmosphere throughout the hotel. Once again, our stay at Alexandros was exceptional, and we are delighted that we chose to return. We truly appreciate the tireless efforts of the entire team to maintain such a high standard of service and hospitality. We had a wonderful stay at Alexandros Palace, and after reading so many negative reviews before our trip, I honestly feel like I should share our experience. First of all, the location is beautiful. The hotel is surrounded by nature, it’s peaceful and relaxing, and it’s the perfect place if you want to escape the crowds. Our room was lovely, with a beautiful sea view, and it was cleaned every single day. The staff deserves special praise. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always happy to help with anything we needed. They really made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast and dinner buffet offered a good variety of food every day. I noticed many reviews complaining about the quality and selection, but that simply wasn’t our experience. We always found plenty of fresh and tasty options, and there was enough variety for everyone. I would also highly recommend trying one of the massages from their daily offer. What makes me sad is that this hotel gets so many unfair negative reviews. Of course, no hotel is perfect, but some people seem to book the cheapest room available and then expect a luxury experience that exceeds what they actually paid for. It’s important to have realistic expectations. For us, Alexandros Palace exceeded them. Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back. See you again!

We are still enjoying our stay at Meliton Hotel, and everything has been excellent so far. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with excellent mattresses that guarantee a great night’s sleep The food is delicios, with a wide variety of delicious options every day. The hotel also has beautiful saltwater swimming pools, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring the resort Although the hotel welcomes many guests, it never feels overcrowded. There are five elevators, so you rarely have to wait. For recreation, there is a bowling alley, and for those who like to stay active, the gym is well equipped and offers an excellent view while you work out or run on the treadmill. The beach is a short walk from the hotel. While it isn’t directly next to the building, the walk is pleasant and doesn’t bother us at all. There is also plenty of convenient parking for guests. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a relaxing holiday, offering comfort, excellent facilities, great food, and a peaceful atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it.

First of all, this property doesn’t meat true 5 star standards. Whoever did their photos - congratulations!! They don’t lie but are polished to make you believe hotel is new and luxurious. Hotel is huge, with almost 500 rooms but only 3 elevators. During peak season using elevator is game of patience. We walked most of the times. The most important thing you should know, and we didn’t, is that if you book any suite - you have access to separate restaurant and beach (attached photo). Otherwise you are forced to use the main restaurant where you can have hundreds of people at same time. You will wait in line to enter and to get the food. We Visited in July and went for breakfast around 8-8:15 when there’s much less people and skipped the dinner. There’s plenty of food choice (cudos for that) but not many healthy options - not a 5* level. Rooms have nice views no matter which side you chose, though the pool side has sunset which is incredible! Beds are huge and comfortable, that we really enjoyed. Our bathtub had serious leak that couldnt be fixed (hotel sent plumber immediately but the only thing to make it better was to use plenty of towels). There’s something wrong with their AC sistem as the coridors had horrible odor all the time. The good sides - the nature is beautiful, so much green, and natural shadow on the beach. Water is great, pool is huge and well maintained. Reception and concierge service is friendly and ready to help. Marina is old but charming. This is old giant hotel which must have been a miracle at its prime time. The value for money is ok, but if you are coming you must be prepared that it is not a 5 star hotel because 5* is not about facilities you have on paper but also its quality, service, hospitality and overall feeling that your holiday means no stress. The only thing worth of coming for is golf course and padel/tennis courts. Avoid the stables though.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our all inclusive stay at Porto Carras in Halkidiki was a major disappointment. This was, by far, the weakest all inclusive experience we’ve had, both in Greece and elsewhere in Europe. Some of the main issues: • The all inclusive snack service only operated from 12:00 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 18:00. • During those hours the choices were extremely limited, usually just small slices of pizza, cheese pie, or spinach pie. • No complimentary ice cream for children, no slushies, no portion of fries, and many basic items expected at an all inclusive resort were only available at an extra charge. • Paid food and drinks were priced the same as for walk in customers, making the all inclusive package feel like poor value. • The rooms, and much of the hotel, felt dated and in need of refurbishment. • There were incorrect food labels in the main buffet restaurant, which is concerning for guests with dietary requirements or allergies. • We were given three “complimentary” visits to the à la carte restaurants, but all inclusive guests received a heavily restricted menu, probably around 10% of the options available to paying customers. • At the flagship restaurant there were only three meat choices, one of which (liver) was unavailable that day, and even something as basic as fries was not included. Overall, it felt like all inclusive guests were treated as second class customers. Compared with other all inclusive resorts we have visited in Greece and across Europe, this was nowhere near the standard expected from a 5 star hotel. The one genuinely positive aspect was the Kids Club. The staff were excellent, it operated daily from 10:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 18:00 (except Thursdays), and our child really enjoyed it. For that reason alone, I have given the hotel 3 out of 5 stars. If you are specifically looking for a quality all inclusive holiday or a genuine 5 star experience, I would not recommend Porto Carras. I booked this vacation after having stayed for a conference last September. Turns out that it was one of the best vacation we had as a family so far. The beach is one of the best you will find in Greece. the hotel is great, it's very beautiful and especially clean. The suites have their own reserved area with big sunbeds. The suites also have their own restaurant for breakfast and dinner, so we were lucky to enjoy this food quietly and easily. The marina is a must visit, many bars and restaurants to choose from. We had our bikes with us and had nice rides inside the resort.

We came back from an amazing vacation at the Athena Pallas. 5 days with 17 (not easy to please) family members, 3-80 years old, and we all felt it was perfect! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, with a perfect location. We loved the decorations and the trees and greenary all through the area. We enjoyed both beaches very much. The rooms were VERY spacious and so clean, there is even a veriety of pillows! We highly appreciated the attentive service - from each and every single staff member. It was really remarkable! The only complaint we have was that there is no free water tap/cooler to drink from. I understand completely that drinks are extra charged, since it is not an all-inclusive, but water??? I personaly drink 2-3 large bottles a day.... I don't think it matters much to the hotel to provide every table at dinner with a water bottle - just a thought.... Again, overall we had an amazing vacation and loved every minute.

We are spending our last evening here, and we can honestly say that our stay at Acrotel Athena Pallas has been outstanding from start to finish. We stayed on a half-board basis, with breakfast and dinner included, and everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The entire staff - from the reception team to the restaurant and kitchen staff - was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. At the beginning of our stay, we experienced a small issue with our room, something that can happen at any hotel. What impressed us was how quickly and efficiently it was resolved. The staff handled it immediately and made sure everything was perfect afterward. The food deserves special praise: delicious, varied, and of excellent quality every day. In fact, I’m already searching online for the recipe of the beef dishes we had for dinner because it was that good! I cant seem to find enough comments about the food. So here is my review: We stayed for 7 days with half-board, dinner and breakfast and let me tell you how good it was. Breakfast was very good, similar stuff every day but had big variety to choose from, but the dinner... it was amazing. 2-3 sea food options, meats like rabbit and lamb, traditional greek meats and salats, 10 different deserts and even ice-cream. it was amazing every night. We didnt have to eat the same meal twice. Drinks are not included in the price for the dinner option but still worth the 10 euro draft beer. The staff was perfect, attentive, and very professional. Rooms were large, clean, with lovely views. There is a heated outdoor pool which was perfect for us during the spring temperatures. I wish i stayed 1 extra week

Simply wonderful! This is the second time this year we have stayed at your hotel and we hope to be your guests again. Everything was in order. Starting from the kind staff, the service, the food that was plentiful and of excellent quality, the hygiene and the overall hygiene starting from the rooms to the pools. Especially to be welcomed is the relaxed family atmosphere that reigns throughout the facility as well as the safety, especially that for the youngest guests. The only thing you could add is evening activities for children (although during the day they are not lacking). All in all, thank you for the wonderful vacation that you provided us. We had the most wonderful stay at Ikos Oceania! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The resort is beautiful, the food is exceptional, and the service is truly outstanding. Every member of staff was warm, friendly, and attentive, always going above and beyond to make our holiday special. A particular thank-you to Eleni from Guest Relations, who checked us in and gave us such a lovely welcome; Sonia, our wonderful beach waitress, who looked after us so well; Akis at the pool, who was always friendly and attentive; and Christian at the French restaurant. Sadly, I can’t remember everyone’s names, but the entire team deserves recognition for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we felt completely cared for throughout our stay. Ikos Oceania is a truly special place, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. We had a brilliant stay at this hotel. Plenty of positives, but also some negatives: Negatives: * The rooms are very dated. They had terrible water pressure and the hot/cold water was unpredictable. There were accessibility issues too. It badly needs a refurb. * The buffet is very limited. Much smaller than other five star hotels we’ve stayed at, and the quality isn’t the best. Positives: * The staff are amazing. They can’t do enough for you and are always so positive and smiley. * The restaurants (excluding the buffet) are, on the whole, very good. There are some consistency issues, but overall they’re very good. * The entertainment was great. The Ouzo evening entertainment was a highlight. The kids’ shows are good too.

We have just came back from our honeymoon (June 2026) and we had the best time! From moment we arrived we got an amazing welcome, so friendly and helpful, they even arranged a romantic dinner on the beach plus a few other surprises. Our room was perfect for us not too far away from the main building and bars. We had one day down the beach and the staff there were great, the beach and sea were gorgeous. The rest of the time we were round the main pool, which was also nice and big with loads of beds, we never had a problem getting one. Big shout to the amazing pool bar staff Akis and Enzi, who made us feel happy and welcomed and nothing was a problem and always had a smile on the face. We always had a drink in our hand when they were around. The main lobby bar, had amazing views of the sea and did the best cocktails! A big shout out to Thomas who again always had a smile on his face and was so helpful and friendly. Wow the food in all the restaurants were amazing, we never had a bad meal. The service was also amazing, so professional and again could not do enough for you. Our favourite was the Asian! Just wanted to say a big thank you to the cleaners, they did amazing job keeping our rooms clean and tidy and even did a turn down service in the evening. So all in all we would recommend this hotel, it has amazing food, cocktails and outstanding service. I’m sure we will be coming back at some point.

First time at an Ikos hotel and it won't be my last. Service was amazing, lovely setting. Rooms were good, we were given a Junior suite but other than a sofa in the room it didn't feel much different. Lovely balcony with a view of the sea. Room was very nice with all amenities, including a fully stocked fridge replenished every day. Food options were amazing, with a buffet restaurant and numerous themed restaurants to eat at, didn't have one bad meal. There are Mini clubman cars you can loan each day if you wish to explore and lots of activities on site as well. There isn't a great deal on your doorstep other than a small town about 20 min walk away or 5 min taxi (Provided by the hotel obviously). You can book meals via the Ikos app and what'sApp the hotel with literally any request, I had a different pillow from the pillow menu delivered in about 3 mins! It's on a hill so the journey from the beach up to the main building is via steps or a VERY steep roadway, no worries as there are always golf buggy's available to take you anywhere around the complex. Finally the staff, these are what make this place truly excellent nothing is too much trouble. I could write a list of people whose service was exemplary, but a special mention to Alex in the main lobby bar, and Julio who worked the pool area. I will most definitely be visiting this or one of the other Ikos hotels.

Currently on day 3 of 6 here at Ikos Oceania and I just had to start writing this review early because honestly it’s been incredible so far. I’ll come back and update this once the trip wraps up, but I wanted to get my thoughts down while everything is still fresh. The buffet has been really good. Lots of variety, fresh stuff, and they switch things up enough that you don’t get bored eating there. We also booked a couple of the à la carte restaurants and 100% worth doing, the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely take the time to reserve them if you’re staying here, you won’t regret it. The staff though, that’s what really stands out. Everyone we’ve interacted with has been so genuinely nice, not that fake hospitality smile you sometimes get at resorts. They actually seem to care. I’ll be honest, we’re already talking about when we can come back, and we still have half the trip left. That should tell you something. Will edit this post with my final thoughts once we’re back home, but for anyone debating whether to book, I’d say go for it.

We arrived at Sani Beach only yesterday, but I felt I had to write this review already. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, our rooms are excellent, and the food has been outstanding so far What truly makes this place exceptional, however, is the people. The service is among the very best we have ever experienced – including many internationally renowned luxury hotels. It is warm, genuine, highly professional and incredibly attentive without ever feeling intrusive. From the personal welcome by the duty manager and the relaxed check-in with a glass of Champagne to the outstanding beach service, every detail has been perfect. Even our pre-arrival requests for our family were fulfilled, including two adjacent rooms with sea view on the 3rd floor. And thoughtful birthday surprise made our arrival even more special. So, thanks to the entire team for making us feel so welcome. If the rest of our stay is anything like our first day, this will undoubtedly become one of our favourite resorts.

We had a brilliant family holiday at Sani. The resort caters to all ages, offers a great range of activities, and has created its own little village in Halkidiki, so there’s really no need to leave once you’re there. A big thank you to Roman Zaleta and Chef Dimitri, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and ensure our bellies were kept full!

We stayed for one week in middle of May and had a lovely time! Travelled with a 4yo and under 1yo. The highlight was absolutely the staff and the experience, we felt totally cared for. The staff were super nice and attentive and helpful. The buggy transport system is amazing, can hold your pram unfolded! The pools and beach is nice, but despite being heated is still cold (26.5-28.5'C) for May weather. The room are slightly dated and bathroom is a bit tight, but the room itself was enough for our family. Food booking was a bit confusing and restricted as full board allowed you to get 3 course from a set menu 'dine around' which did not include all restaurants and have to be pre-booked, but we had plenty of delicious meals. Reception and e-concierge in WhatsApp was v helpful in helping us book. Entertainment show and live music was fun for our kiddo. Overall we had a lovely experience, would recommend x

From the very first minute we arrived at Sani Beach, we were completely satisfied and felt perfectly accommodated. We were here to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we were able to enjoy it in an incredibly relaxed and stunningly beautiful atmosphere. We were more than satisfied with all areas of the resort. We have rarely seen such an exceptionally clean hotel! The entire staff is incredibly attentive, always greeting you with a warm smile on their lips. A very special thank you goes to the head chef, Dimitrios, who absolutely enchanted us every single day with his outstanding culinary skills. The hotel grounds are stunningly beautiful. The surrounding environment—the nature reserve, the pine forest, and the wonderful beach—is simply unique and breathtaking. I can't say anything about the rooms because we didn't stay over in the hotel, but judging from the staf and the facilities outside I can only imagine the beauty inside. The beach is long, the sunbeds are comfortable, there are sunbeds under the trees with natural shadows...this is only what can be seen from outside from one day walk.

My wife and I are long-time fans of Sani Dunes. This hotel, like the entire infrastructure of the Sani resort complex, is worth every euro spent here. Yes, it's not cheap, but it's fair: a gorgeous complex, an ideal location in a nature reserve, well-trained and friendly staff everywhere, perfect cleanliness, beautiful park design, atmosphere and quality cuisine in almost every restaurant. The Suny Dunes Hotel has even more advantages compared to the already ideal complex. Great rooms and perfect service wherever you go: restaurants, reception, spa complex, gym. Landscape design on the territory is particularly admired. It's scary to imagine how much and what it costs to maintain such a beautiful territory. And of course, the main diamonds of this place are its employees! The first is the main manager of the hotel, who magically knows each guest personally. This is our personal manager, Mariopi, who, in an incomprehensible way, easily and naturally solves all guest requests quickly and efficiently. She does it before you think you need to. After complaining we were moved to an upgraded suite with our own garden and garden furniture. Staff were, as usual, brilliant. It's not cheap to stay here but you get what you pay for and you do actually get 5* service , which these days is rare in what are claimed to be 5* hotels.

Our favorite resort this is why we return. One thing that struck me this time though is that the bikes that are for rent are without lights. And the young kids even 5 year olds unfortunately race around the resort recklessly after sunset (not watched after by their parents…) nearly colliding with us pedestrians a few times because they race and we don’t have a chance of seeing them coming. That is dangerous and it needs to be controlled.

We had a wonderful stay at Ikos Olivia and would happily return. The resort has a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive, and everything is immaculately clean and well maintained. Whether it was our room, the pool areas or the restaurants, the attention to detail was evident throughout. The food was a real highlight. The variety and freshness across all of the restaurants was excellent, with something to suit every taste. Our standout dining experience was the Asian restaurant, the prawn coconut ravioli was exceptional and the crab salad dish of the day was one of the best dishes we ate during our stay. The service was consistently outstanding. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional and genuinely helpful. We were particularly impressed with the pool service, where staff were attentive without ever being intrusive, helping to make our days by the pool incredibly relaxing. The spa was another highlight. I enjoyed both a massage and a facial, and both treatments were excellent, leaving me feeling completely refreshed. The drinks selection was fantastic, with plenty of premium options, and the bars created a lovely, relaxed ambience in the evenings. Our room was comfortable, well appointed and serviced to a very high standard throughout our stay. They are happy to cater for all requests including items not on the menu. A few small points of constructive feedback. The shower would benefit from a shelf for toiletries, as there isn’t anywhere convenient to put shampoo and shower gel. The shower door handle could also be improved, as it’s a little awkward to open. Our only other observation was regarding evening entertainment for children. Given how family orientated the resort is, we felt there could be more frequent children’s entertainment in the evenings. Compared with similar luxury family resorts in Turkey, the offering felt more geared towards adults, and while the children’s shows we did see were enjoyable, the overall quality and variety could be improved. Overall, these are very minor points in what was otherwise an excellent holiday. Ikos Olivia delivers exceptional food, outstanding service, beautiful surroundings and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. We’d thoroughly recommend it and would love to return.

Just back from Ikos Olivia with the boys and we had a great time. Resort is in top shape, food is genuinely good everywhere, and the service across the board is what makes this place stand out. Overall 10/10 A few people we want to call out: Antonia at the Deluxe concierge — looked after us from the moment we arrived, always one step ahead. Thanos and Petros at the Deluxe bar — good drinks, good chats, made it our spot. Vicky, manager at The Garden and a really strong sommelier. Her wine pairings made the dinners even better. The star at Ouzo, Lefteris Last but not least, Leon at Flavours — our hero of the week. Nothing was too much, and the boys loved him. Sports activities were also a big win with the kids. Plenty to do, well run. Thanks to the whole team. We’ll be back!

We have been to ikos for 10 years and this was the best resort we have stayed in. The staff as always were wonderful, but here they went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time possible. Vasili, Antonia, Elena, Tasos & Nikolas were all amazing with us and our 9 month old. Including personally checking in on him when they found out he wasn’t well! The resort is beautifully spread out with restaurants on the beach front with sea views & the wonderful Potami bar at the front too I also have a nut allergy & the staff are amazing, they check if it is all nuts & if it is traces too. I have never had such attention to my allergy in any other hotel outside of ikos. We definitely will be back & will continue to be part of the ikos family.

We’ve just returned from Sani Asterias and it’s one of the best family holidays we’ve had. What sets Asterias apart isn’t just the beautiful suites, stunning beach or fantastic restaurants, it’s the people. The team seemed to think of everything before we did, so we never wanted for anything. They don’t just remember your room number and name, they remember how you take your coffee, how you like your eggs and all the little details that make you feel genuinely looked after. We travelled with two young children and somehow Asterias managed to feel both child-friendly and beautifully grown up at the same time. Compared to the other Sani hotels, it feels more sophisticated and relaxed, like a luxury adults’ hotel that also caters brilliantly for children. We loved being able to walk or take the Asterias golf buggy to many restaurants and enjoy everything Sani has to offer, before returning to the peace and tranquillity of Asterias. This level of service is becoming increasingly rare to find and is the reason we’re already discussing when we can come back. A huge thank you to Kevin and his incredible team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return.

We were able to spend 8 days at Sani Asterias and we are thrilled with the beautiful grounds, the exceptionally lovely rooms (we had an Ocean Front Suite), and the perfect service. Here, service and friendliness are lived to perfection – with many small touches, such as the beach service, ranging from towels to complimentary chilled water – simply perfect. The breakfast deserves a special mention – a buffet complemented by an à la carte menu – wonderful! In Penelope and Nina, we had two '5-star' service managers who took magical care of us. So, if you want to experience a world-class holiday, you should definitely come here…

The resort is beautiful, and we have stayed here twice before. On those occasions, everything was wonderful – the staff was friendly, the restaurants were excellent, and there were plenty of fantastic activities for the children. This year, however, our experience was quite different. We are two families vacationing together, but we were booked into different restaurants and, in some cases, given very late dinner reservations. This made it difficult for us to enjoy meals together as a group. Additionally, many things were already fully booked when we arrived. We were assigned dinner reservations at the Asian restaurant for three of our seven nights, which was somewhat disappointing given that we were in Greece and had hoped to enjoy more local cuisine during our stay. Fairly speaking, the hotel staff did make efforts to accommodate us with restaurant bookings and activities, but these attempts only came after we repeatedly asked and expressed our concerns. Given the price point of the resort, we feel this level of service is not quite adequate. The main reason we have always returned to this resort was the variety of activities offered for the kids. Unfortunately, this time there were no spots available in any of the activities when we arrived. We spoke with another family who told us they had to book restaurants and activities eight months in advance, and even then, they were placed on waiting lists. Having to plan so far ahead feels quite impractical, especially considering the price point. It is truly regrettable to see a place where we once felt relaxed and comfortable become a source of stress, worrying whether our children—and ourselves—can fully enjoy our time here.

We’ve been to Asterias a couple of times before as well as Porto Sani. Last time at Asterias in 2024 was superb. However, our most recent visit in summer 2025 was very disappointing and I sadly think it may’ve changed notably. The main issue was how overdeveloped / busy the resort has become. They have built a number of new properties at Asterias. Most of them have their own private pools but guests preferred to come use the main pool which caused issues with overcrowding - we were refused a lounger on several days and I think that’s simply unacceptable as this is prized as the most exclusive (expensive) option at Sani. We have chosen it for the better service and quieter vibe in the past and that’s not the case anymore. One member of staff told me openly about the error on calculation of the overdevelopment of the resort and the failed assumption that residents would use their own private pools in the new properties. In addition, we requested the same room as the prior year, months in advance. As a loyal customer, I thought this would be easy, but no. Seized shower valve - this was a problem throughout our stay and we had to ask several times as it was simply impossible to alter the temperature at times. It was never properly fixed. Leaking shower enclosure - flooding the bathroom several times. After fobbing me off with maintenance visits to repair it, they finally decided to be honest and told me it was a design fault and something that will be fixed in the future across many rooms. Again, not really acceptable at this price point and why not be honest at the outset? Serving different wine vintages to what’s advertised - when you are spending €250+ on a bottle, please don’t serve me a different vintage to what’s on the wine list…. Kids “babe watch” service unavailable for part of our stay - this was a nice service in prior years where a couple of ladies would have a station to make sand castles / sand play with your kids as you observed from your lounger on the beach. This wasn’t available for 3 days of our 10 day stay when it was at the other resorts at Sani. Lack of loyalty perks - prior to our most recent visit, I had been upgraded to “Black tier” on their loyalty programme which states that I’m entitled to a room upgrade on arrival. I never got this. All in all, it pains me as we had a few memorable stays and happy memories at Sani and would’ve loved to have continued our annual visit there. But the failings above are hard to stomach and I feel they really let us down this last visit.

You won't be thirsty or hungry. You'll have enough to eat and drink, although you'll be basicly eating the same food throughout your holiday. The food and drinks aren't anything fancy, but you'll get by. Access to the sea is over a steep slope, through stones, so sea shoes are highly recommended. The hotel staff are helpful. Only one bar, the pool bar, is open for guests. If the weather is bad, they open the lobby bar instead. The rooms are decorated in a 1990s style. As for the lifeguard, you'll notice him because he's the only one with a whistle. It's a rather sad sight. The sunbeds on the beach are old, and there are no beach umbrellas. Overall, you get low- to medium-quality service for your money. This is definitely not a five-star hotel—it's closer to a three-star property. Grass is growing between the courtyard floor tiles, and the grass around the hotel should be properly maintained and cut regulary. You have only one man masseur in the hotel, the sauna and hamam are not working at the moment. The sea is warm.

I heard on the beach that rooms are not always ideal. But I don’t know for sure as I didn’t stay in the hotel

The beach is very bad, there are too many stones, but the water is clean and warm. The food is correct, but not a lot of choice. We were in a room with a closed terrace and it was ok, there is air conditioning in every room. The water in the pool is very warm. The whole resort could be much tidier. The workers at the pool bar are friendly, and the biggest praise for the young girl who works as an animator in the playroom, holds Zumba at the pool and with the children is excellent and very kind.

We paid for all-inclusive, five stars experience through booking.com for our honeymoon. We found nothing barely resembling 5⭐️, not even 4 for that matter. The furniture is old and paint is chipped. Walls are dirty, bathroom sink sprays water awkwardly and it sprays all over if you turn up the pressure. Using the shower leaves a puddle of water on the bathroom floor. The SPA was not open, and there was not one activity offered other than the pool (again, at a so-called all inclusive hotel). We left the very next day, and the only reason we stayed for a night was because we got there at 11 pm. Avoid this hotel at all cost if you're expecting for 4-5 stars quality. Ps. We talked to the manager, then messaged booking and got a refund to our reservation.

We stayed at Domes Noruz Kassandra in mid-May 2026 and had an amazing week. All of the staff were polite, welcoming and engaging throughout our stay. The hotel itself was clean, well laid out and had a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. Midway through our stay, we requested to change rooms due to noisy and inconsiderate guests who had checked into the room next door. Our request was handled with no fuss at all, and as an extra gesture, the management and reception team moved us to an upgraded suite. Amazing service and very much appreciated! The food was great. Although the selection was not huge, there was enough variety for everyone. The beach was beautiful, peaceful and felt private, which made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Domes Noruz Kassandra and would happily recommend it.

This hotel sadly did not live up to its 5 star billing. Service issues, communication, bedroom and restaurant standards fell below expectation. On the positive side the pool, Antonios and the Raw Bar were very good and some individual members of staff outstanding. Positives: The grounds, the pool (maintained by a very hardworking member of staff), the gym inside and out and the main bar are all lovely and photogenic. The beach is ok, Antonio’s Bar and Restaurant met expectations, with a friendly professional team and good service. Housekeeping was very good. Areas for improvements: We stayed in a Cozy Retreat room, the bathroom was small,damp and tired. We had an electrical fault/concern that required three attempts to resolve. Otherwise the main bedroom area was ok rather than special. Interactions with reception trying to resolve queries was met with mixed responses, often referring issues to others to determine, but always requiring us to repeatedly return to find out any progress or resolution. The main restaurant was ok at breakfast but the evening meal was akin to eating in a canteen. No one showed us to a table, you had to find if somewhere was free from other customers. The food was average and the buffet overwhelmed at times by the number of guests. Personally overall, I felt these issues appear more about the training of the staff rather than their qualities as many of them worked very hard. It was difficult to detect a supportive and developmental management environment that would improve the service standards. We recognise that many others have had a different more positive experience, but this was ours.

A truly fantastic stay! The location of this hotel is simply unbeatable. It sits right next to a magnificent sandy beach with some of the most beautiful turquoise waters I have ever seen. There are no stones or seaweed—just soft, fine sand and crystal-clear water. At one point, as I lay on the beach gazing at the shimmering turquoise sea and the blue-hued hills of Sithonia across the gulf, I genuinely felt as though I had been transported to Bora Bora—without the very long journey. Another highlight of the hotel is the outstanding food. The breakfast buffet offers an incredible selection of freshly baked pies and pastries, a wide variety of cheeses, numerous egg dishes, fresh fruit, and many other delicious options. The dinner buffet changes every evening and features an excellent array of Greek, Italian, and international cuisine, all beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Finally, the staff deserves special recognition. Everyone was exceptionally courteous, welcoming, and always eager to help with a smile, making us feel truly valued throughout our stay. Excellent stay so far, with just one point that should be communicated more clearly We are currently staying at Ammon Zeus Hotel and, so far, we are very pleased with our experience. The location of the hotel is excellent, the room is very clean, and the staff have been consistently polite, respectful, helpful and attentive. From the moment we arrived, we have felt well looked after, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel has been very pleasant. The only point that could have been handled more transparently is the parking fee. During the reservation process, we were not clearly informed that parking costs an additional €15 per vehicle per night. This is not a major issue in itself, but it would have been better to know in advance so that we could include it in our overall budget. Apart from this, everything has been very good. Our stay is still continuing, so we will make a more detailed final assessment after check-out. At this stage, however, we are giving 5 out of 5 for the hotel’s location, cleanliness and especially the quality of the staff.

The hotel is beautiful, very clean, perfectly organized, and located right next to the sea with amazing views Everything was excellent – the rooms, the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. I would especially like to praise the ladies at the reception desk. They were all extremely kind and helpful, but one lady deserves special recognition. Unfortunately, I do not know her name, but she speaks Serbian. During all our travels and stays in many hotels, we have rarely experienced such genuine kindness, professionalism, and positive energy. No matter how many times we passed by the reception, she was always smiling, welcoming, and ready to assist with anything we needed. Her warm attitude made our stay even more enjoyable and made us feel at home. Employees like her are a true asset to the hotel and deserve the highest praise. This was our first stay at Amon Zeus Beach Hotel, but it certainly will not be our last. We are already planning to return in September, and we will be very happy to come back again in the future.

I have no problem in recommending this hotel. Location is great, has an excellent beach (so good that we hardly visited other beaches in Kassandra). Very easy to get to the beach, it has its own sunbeds and you can find free ones at any hour of the day. Food is very tasty and varies from day to day. Staff is very attentive and helpful, rooms are comfortable and clean. Garden view rooms also have a view toward the see (you can view the sea from the balcony).

I booked a transfer from Thessaloniki to Hanioti Halkidiki on June 26th with return on the 29th. They were on time, called me in advance and gave me good directions how to meet up. The vehicle was very clean and the driver made sure the ride was comfortable ( not going too fast, abiding by the signage ). They also helped us with luggage and gave us good recommendations on what to do and where to go in Hanioti and nearby areas. I have zero complaints about the overall experience and the price was also very reasonable for the distance and service.

Sani Club benefits from a truly exceptional location. The hillside setting, beautiful pine trees and crystal-clear turquoise sea are simply stunning. The love of detail put into gardening, beautiful restaurants and bars clearly sets benchmarks. The Dine Around program is one of the resort’s biggest strengths and restaurants such as Cabana, Pines, Vosporos, Beach House, Ouzerie and Elia’s are outstanding in terms of cuisine and service. We are truly surprised by the quality of food offered here as part of the halfboard program every time we visit. Compared to Sani Beach, the rooms have also been refreshed nicely, with beautiful balconies overlooking the quiet bay. Bathrooms are nicer, ac actually does a good job. The complimentary activities, such as outdoor workouts, Pilates and the climbing park, are great additions. Unfortunately however, the service no longer matches the prices being charged. The concierge team is friendly but feels disorganized and rather incompetent. Despite being Gold Members with more than six stays, we were repeatedly asked if it was our first visit. No special welcome gift, not even a welcome card (which was received before becoming gold members). Room preferences made weeks in advance were ignored, restaurant reservation time adaptions were nearly impossible and even simple requests such as informing a restaurant about a delay were not carried out, leaving us with a closed kitchen on arrival and similar experiences. On departure day, despite stressing that we were in a hurry for our flight, our luggage and car were forgotten several times. At the same time, different staff members called us before departure asking the exact same satisfaction questions, giving the impression that collecting good survey scores mattered more than solving problems. The overall service level across the resort has declined. A good example was the beach service at Anemos, where we waited almost an hour for towels and regularly had to wait 30 minutes or more before anyone acknowledged us at the restaurant. Again a thing that was not followed up on, even though management apparently should have contacted us. Buggies are another well-known issue throughout the resort, with long waiting times and frequent no-shows. Especially annoying as some routes are quite long and steep in the Sani Club. We also had an unpleasant smell coming from the shower from the first day of our stay, which was never resolved. discussions about a room change were never followed up. As a couple, we were also assigned a room with a connecting door next to a family with a baby, making the room extremely noisy — not what you expect when paying around €700 per night. However since this had happened here during our honeymoon and there was no chance of having any changes we chose out battles… Finally, prices throughout the resort have become excessive. It is a five-star property and premium prices are expected, but the mark-ups for simple things can feel unreasonable. Sani Club still has many unique qualities, but for the price being charged, the service and attention to detail are simply no longer good enough. Sadly, after many visits, we will probably not return.

Sani Club exceeded every expectation. The location is simply unbeatable – tucked inside the Sani Resort complex with direct access to a pristine beach and surrounded by pine forest and wetlands. Waking up to views of Mount Olympus across the Toroneos Gulf never got old. Service here is on another level. From check-in to check-out, every staff member we met was genuinely warm, proactive, and incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive. You feel like a guest, not a room number. Our room was a masterclass in comfort and design. Spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need – plush beds, blackout curtains, Nespresso machine, huge rain shower, and a terrace with infinity pool that became our favorite spot for sunset. The little details, like quality toiletries, robes, and a well-stocked minibar, made it feel truly 5-star. If you want outstanding service, a stunning location, and rooms that are both luxurious and genuinely comfortable, Sani Club is it.

A Fantastic Stay with Excellent Service No matter where we were on the expansive resort grounds, the entire staff was always extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming. A very special praise and a huge thank you goes out to our concierge, Emil. He was always immediately available to help us with any request, no matter how small, and was absolutely solution-oriented. Such dedicated service truly makes a difference! The new Anemos Beach is a real highlight. We highly appreciated the generous spacing between the sun loungers, which provides wonderful privacy and tranquility. The beach is stunningly beautiful and slopes very gently into the water, which was just ideal and safe for splashing around with our three-year-old. A minor constructive note: A little more beach maintenance would perfect the overall picture, as we occasionally encountered sharp stones in the sand, and the washed-up seagrass was a bit much in some areas. Culinary Delights at the Highest Level: We definitely never had a bad meal during our entire stay – the food quality was consistently top-notch! However, our absolute favorites were Ouzerie and El Puerto, which we can highly recommend to future guests. As a suggestion for the hotel: A more extensive ice cream selection at the Patisserie would surely be a big hit and go down incredibly well, not just with the younger guests. Conclusion: We had a wonderful holiday, felt incredibly well looked after, and would love to come back next year for the fourth time. Highly recommended!

We had a brilliant stay at Porto Sani. The person who really makes this place special is Ioanna. She looked after us so well from start to finish and made a huge difference to our holiday. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The buffet was excellent, especially for children, with plenty of choice every day. The team running the restaurant were fantastic and always made us feel welcome. The marina is a real highlight and gives the resort a lovely atmosphere. We also used the bike hire several times and the staff there were excellent. The beaches are beautiful and natural, the cleaning team did a great job throughout our stay, the golf cart transport was quick and easy, and the spa was excellent. If I was being really picky, some of the buffet desserts were not quite as strong as the rest of the food, and some of the food and drink prices around the resort are on the expensive side. Overall, it was a fantastic family holiday and somewhere we would happily return to. A big thank you to Ioanna and the whole Porto Sani team for making our stay so enjoyable!

Our stay at Porto Sani was nothing short of exceptional. The level of service is truly outstanding — from the impeccable cleanliness to the incredible attention to detail and genuine care for every guest’s needs. A special mention goes to Roxana from Customer Service, who was simply remarkable. Her hospitality is something we have rarely experienced. She supported us even before our arrival and continued throughout our stay, always attentive, proactive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Her recommendations were perfectly tailored to our style, guiding us on where to go and what to do, both for us and our children. The entire team made us feel valued and cared for at every moment. Honestly, 5 stars are not enough to reflect what this hotel, its staff, and the overall experience truly deserve.

Porto Sani does a great deal very right, and a few important things wrong. We left impressed but not unreservedly so, and at these prices the gap matters. Start with what’s genuinely exceptional: the landscaping and resort layout. The gardens, vegetation and flowers are stunning, kept spotless by an army of friendly gardeners; not a blade of grass out of place. The mature planting does real work beyond aesthetics, creating a strong sense of privacy throughout. Housekeeping matches it. Everything is immaculate, and the team are warm, visible and quietly carrying the infrastructure the rest of us take for granted. We stayed in a two-bedroom garden suite and felt thoroughly looked after: well designed, genuinely spacious, comfortable, with a beautiful private garden of our own. The people are the resort’s real asset. Broadly everyone was friendly and very helpful, but a few deserve naming. Kostas, Reception Manager and our fixer, was extraordinary: professional, warm, knowledgeable, available around the clock, and anticipating what we needed before we’d registered we needed it. I run a business and I’d love to hire Kostas tomorrow. Nelly, who looks after breakfast in the mornings and Lima in the evenings, brings excellent English and an outstanding instinct for service, standing well above an already high bar. And in housekeeping, Angelica was unfailingly friendly and accommodating; she and her Greek colleagues, whose names we never caught, always had a big smile for our children. The evening shows were an amazing way to finish the night for the kids, loved and admire the dancers, great energy, big smiles, amazing moves! We also LOVED the beaches, playgrounds, trampoline & rock climbing (wonderful gents there!!!), the bike rental centre is amazing, paddle is missing! But otherwise truly fantastic offering for the active traveller! Now the negatives, because they’re the difference between a return booking and a maybe. Value for money for the food in particular. We booked full board and were then met with surcharges at almost every turn. The communication around which restaurants are opt-in versus opt-out within the programme is genuinely poor; maps with locations would have been more helpful or in-app toggles for your half/full board programs, it took us three days to understand the system, and we are neither inexperienced travellers nor naïve consumers. Others we spoke to had the same struggle. Roughly £10k a week off-season buys a certain expectation, and small inclusions like pool coffees and bottled water sit well within it. Worse, the F&B pricing is Hakkasan Mayfair while the food, with several exceptions, is often mediocre. Avli, Lima and El Puerto were genuinely excellent, and a couple of others I can’t name from memory. Otherwise it’s production-line output, and in some cases production-line quality, with an extra hundred pounds landing on the bill regardless. The app is poor. Restaurant and activity bookings are painful, and the volume of information collected, then demanded again at every single booking, feels archaic. The maps aren’t interactive, signage is sparse, and orientating ourselves was needlessly hard for anyone not minded to take a buggy everywhere (they’re plentiful, to be fair). Two more things worth raising. While the 4+ kids club is amazing, the kids’ club for the 2-4 age group is expensive at £70-80 a day, with a break in the middle of the session; the value there is hard to follow. And the White Party is amazing for parents who need a real party moment, but the communication could have been better: had we known the format in advance, essentially a nightclub at volumes no small child’s ears should meet, we’d have arranged a babysitter. In short: expensive, and most of it will make you feel the spend was justified! But Porto Sani needs to sort out its communications and rein in the constant extras, several of which are small gestures that would cost them little and buy real goodwill. We did leave with smiles and hugs and some big thank yous!

We love this resort. The concept is great, the focus is clearly on customer satisfaction, and the staff is always striving to fulfill every wish. The resort is very secluded, which in my view is very positive. It is very quiet, the activity options are great, and you can truly enjoy your vacation. We have already been here six times and more vacations will surely follow ;)
