Me
Had an 11 night holiday here and had a great time. Given it an overall 4 star and listing some pros and cons here.
The food, very nice for the first few days but went right downhill afterwards. It was still very edible and a good choice most of the time but some days it was mainly sloppy veg called stew. The omelets and pancakes are a great option for breakfast and the breakfast for me was probably the best part. Snack time was good with burgers etc but my gripe here is that you have to sit outside because they close the dining room. There is no non smoking areas outside and so many people smoke there so unfortunately being asthmatic this was something we couldn’t get around. It was actually really sad to see adult smoking at the table whilst their children were eating but each to their own!
Drinks. Drinks were all very good with a good mix and although a certain barman kept giving mini measures of vodka, I just ended up asking for two when he was on so he ended up with extra glasses 🤦♀️
Rooms. Rooms were nice, spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable so 5 stars for that, you also get free aircon which is great.
Entertainment. AMAZING!! Gizmo and Gadget are honestly the best entertainment team I’ve ever seen, an amazing duo who complement each other beautifully. During the day they organise aqua aerobics, volley ball in the pool, darts and pool if you fancy it and their energy is second to none. Evening entertainment is really varied from acrobatic shows, live bands, karaoke and more which is a perfect mix, cannot fault the entertainment or the team at all.
Pool. Beautiful pool, can get a bit busy but the guys will always find you a spot if it’s busy, there is also a separate area that can be used as an overflow but was never needed when I was there. The pool guy was exceptionally lovely and worked really hard, can’t remember his name, he was a bit chubby with limited English but he really did make an effort for everyone, he didn’t even complain when a dirty couple with a baby left their shixxy nappy on the table NOT in a nappy sack!
Cleanliness. 100% rating for that, the whole complex was absolutely spotless so well done to the cleaners.
There were a few guests who thought they were staying at a 7 star hotel who were quite rude but the staff handled this incredibly well so obviously have had great training.
Would I go back? I’ve got to be honest, the only thing I would have to consider when rebooking is the smoke, a little area for non smokers would be so easy to do because there’s absolutely enough room there, and most hotels I’ve been to do have this. I know the smokers are doing nothing wrong and I respect that but health wise, I don't know if I can risk having an attack abroad because smoke is unfortunately a trigger for me.

Nice budget hotel. Rooms are quite basic but have fridge and a small TV. WiFi is ok in rooms, we could download a movie to watch on the tablet. Better WiFi by the pool.
Quite a few people from the UK go here and many have been coming here for years. The people we met were quite chilled out and we didn't notice a huge amount of noise or drunken behaviour. We went before school holidays so mostly young families and couples 50s/60s.
Bring your own towel for pool/beach.
Good enthusiastic entertainment and all staff are attentive and helpful. The pool is small so I imagine sunbed wars are bad as summer progresses. We went in May and it wasn't a huge issue. Food is good, Sunday was a roast which concerned me as it was our first night and I didn't want to only be eating "British" food. That said, I didn't need to worry, the roast was very good and there are genuine Turkish meals served later in the week which were all either good or great. Those who prefer home comforts can get burgers, omelette, baked potato and pizza at the snack bar and at dinner there is always a section for chips and nuggets. Buffet area is quite small but sufficient and salad selection is good. A warning to nut allergies, most desserts here contain some nuts and aren't well labelled. Pistachio and orange cake was my favourite!
Scenery is lovely and hotel is at the top of hill so good view all around. Dolmus bus (moovit app) nearby takes you to olu deniz or fethiye in about 15 min. Around 70 lira per person each way. We walked down the hill a little to catch it.
Shuttle to Billy beach runs every morning and afternoon. The beach is lovely, we saw a turtle in the water not far from the beach. No issues getting a sunbed but it was early in the season.
I'm not one to go back to the same hotel more than once but if we came back to Turkey for a budget break in the sun I would stay here again.:-)

The postives:
Very friendly, helpful staff in all areas from reception to the cleaning staff. Everyone had a smile and did all they could to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Bar staff were great, Gadget and Gizmo were exceptional and the restaurant staff were attentive and efficient at clearing your tables.
The young lad helps with cases upon request, and was very pleasant and so strong!!
Rooms are small but clean. Balconies were very small, but served our needs.
Location is ok, but had to rely on cabs to get around.
Daily shuttle mini bus to Billy's Beach was great, picks up at 10am with £8 entrance fee to a private beach at the Blue Lagoon, includes sun lounger and umbrella. Nice and relaxed, not at all crowded and I highly recommend. Return journey pick up as at 5pm. Shame they dont do a later service as it would of been nice to stay there into the evening.
Can't comment on evening entertainment as we went out every evening.
The Negatives:
Food - So repetitive. Breakfast 8am-9.30 was salad, made up from the left overs the day before. Cereal, yoghurt and fruit. Bread, toast, some strange sausage in red sauce. Boiled & scrambled eggs but no bacon, or normal sausages to be seen. Fresh made pancakes and omelette. It served our needs but don't expect too much. Lunch 12.30-2 was pretty much the same as breakfast just with chips and some other bits, nothing too appetising really.
Snack bar 3-4.30 this was better than lunch service. Freshly ordered and cooked, waitress service from table.
Dinner 7.30-9 - this was the worst. Us Brits know how to take our turn and form a ordinarly queue where necessary, unfortunately for us others do not know this politeness, and there were groups just diving in, taking all the food leaving crumbs for us queing folk, piling their plates high and then not consuming the mountains they had. There were a few heated words said, which were mostly ignored by the offenders. Children sticking their fingers in the food, especially the desserts, it was dire. One evening there were no desserts left at all after 8.15pm. It got so bad by towards the end of our stay we chose to eat out instead. It wasn't so bad at the beginning of our stay, however this changed when other guests arrived who were tourists from other parts of Turkey and other neighbouring countries. It was utter carnage at dinner times, and the behaviour of some was almost unbelievable.
Unfortunately due to the ignorance of some of the guests, this has put us off rebooking this hotel in the future. I get people are rude, I understand its not down to the hotel, but the staff did not say nor do anything about the riots at dinner times, even when it was pointed out that there was not enough food for everyone.
The pool did not appear to have a life guard, nor was the water slide manned. Children were climbing up the slide, hanging off the edge when it was not open, and the parents allowed them to did it, there is an accident waiting to happen there. Again this was only a select few and there were minimal british children there due to it being UK term time.
Floor gets very slippery arpund the pool so be warned.
Bar, opened at 10am - 11pm, staff were great but the drinks were most certainly watered down. I'm a light weight and never felt the effects of any of the alcohol I consumed there at all.
Its such a shame that the negatives are there, as the staff work very hard, and their only 2 downfalls is the quality, quantity and management of meal times, and health and safety management around the pool. Maybe I expect too much, I dont know, but in my opinion these two aspects have let the hotel down massively, and I will not stay there again. I heard other British guests saying exactly the same regarding the negatives also.

The rooms were okay, they were a little bit outdated but do-able.
The food there had a good variety and as a picky eater i loved the food there. The restaurant bit was nice, i preferred to sit on the balcony as it was quieter and lovely.
The staff were my favourite part. The bar staff were quick and speedy so if there were people getting drinks before you, you wouldn’t wait long. The entertainment staff were funny and really brought life to the hotel.
Overall the entertainment was good. Kids entertainment on every night. However if you are there for more than a week the entertainment will repeat which i didn’t really mind.
Downstairs is a shop (A 101) which is very cheap and useful if you wanted an ice cream halfway through the day.
The location isn’t all of the greatest. The view of the babadag mountains is beautiful but you are very far from the beach. There isnt many places to walk so you have to take the bus to get to the main shopping strip.
Overall i would recommend this hotel for anyone who enjoys being on holiday

After just coming home from above resort here is my honest review:
Rooms: rooms were ok but pretty small and dated,Air con was pretty good to be fair and done the job,Balconies are tiny and full of ants.Showers were also very good and powerful.
Staff/Service: staff were very attentive and would go of their way to help in any way they could.Bar staff (Servet) and Mohamed were excellent and very friendly and excellent at their jobs.Gadget and Gizmo on the entertainment team were also excellent at their thing and kept everyone amused and very friendly to all visitors and excellent with kids and keeping them busy (The Morning wood game they played one evening was hysterical and kept everyone entertained) other entertainment they had on was ok and filled the night.
Food:Well their is not much to say about the food but it was pretty abysmal most of the time Breakfast consisted of Eggs (Hard boiled,Fried and scrambled and omelette maker outside) but if ya don’t like eggs,Mushrooms,Beans and terrible sausages then their probably isn’t much else to choose from and this seemed to be for all Dinner and Lunch periods aswell their is not much selection and some of the food on offer in the hot plates well I wouldn’t of served my dog.The best bet for food is ordering off the small menu at the snack time menu (Tuna Sandwiches were lovely and skipped lunch for these most days Burgers were also ok) but for the size of the food area it could be a lot better selection and more on offer than just rice and chips and some crazy meals that looked like it had been thrown round the kitchen and served looking like it.Desserts were ok but cakes seem to jus be repeated all the time but jus a different topping put on top either chocolate or coconut. They done a Lamb kebab night one night and was excellent but could of been a lot better with other sauces and extras.
All in all the experience was ok and I would rate the place 5/10 but their are areas that let this hotel down one being the food (We ate out most days as after day 3/4 we was bored with the breakfast and Teas.
To all staff at the hotel many thanks you was all excellent and catered for everyone.
Thanks
