Stayed for a week in late August 2026.
We ahd a seaview room and it was a genuine excellent seaview room (642) spotlessly clean and on par with other good hotels I've stayed in. Service was consistently good, and the staff were responsive when asked. Breakfast was a mixed bag. The bacon was overcooked ALL mornings, and the pancakes defaulted to cinnamon, which didn't suit everyone. That said, the team happily made pancakes without it when requested, which I appreciated.
Also appreciated the free slushie ice lollies by the pool on one of the hot days.
One area for improvement, given the limited family-friendly options nearby in the evenings, a simple early family-hour activity once or twice a week could make a big difference for guests with younger children. Overall, a strong hotel, just a couple tweaks away from being truly excellent.
Special shout out to Lama and Kenneth (breakfast trainee and poolside team). Kenneth was always attentive and he goes beyond and above.
We will definitely come back for that view and the pool

Love this hotel, it is beautiful and well taken care of. I am already planning to return. From the friendly polite staff, to the beautiful architecture of this hotel it is welcoming and grand . As you step into the hotel you are immediately wowed as it has a huge well lit foyer, smelling lovely ...I think it's the hotels signature smell which you will find also with the complimentary shower gel, shampoo/ conditioner and boday lotion...in their bathrooms (perfect because you don't need to take any of these toiletries with you, they are provided for you and of excellent quality). The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable the bedding is prestine, soft and clean. The bathrooms are clean too, the only thing was the bath/shower wasn't draining properly it was a little slow, but not a deal breaker. As a clean freak I felt comfortable with the level of cleanliness, which I haven't felt in other previous hotels I stayed in. I could say it feels like home a way from home, in fact as I said I plan on returning. The buffet breakfast, is scrumptiously wonderful with an array of varied foods ..sweet, savoury anything you wish for to eat they have it, all fresh and of the highest quality. Highly recommend. It shows that this place they pay attention to details and they care for their customers. It has a beautiful looking clean pool which o don't get to try this time around. All hotel grounds are kept spotless which for me is something important. The view of the sea from the room is amazing. Again just really loved my stay.

The staff in particular are so pleasant, helpful, and efficient, in all areas they created the right atmosphere. The half board option worked well for us and the food quality was often remarkable. Rooms, both garden and sea view, were very comfortable, clean and spacious.
My elderly parents loved the hotel and the high quality 13m indoor pool/sauna/steam/jacuzzi. We also found the gym excellent and extensive such that it attracts members, it was really nice to have locals there who would demo unfamiliar equipment etc - the Maltese people really are so positive and nice to be around.
December weather was brilliant and the hotel had a nice festive atmosphere, there was no out of season feel to it. Would definitely recommend and we may well return.
The location of the hotel is highly convenient - 100 metres from the heart of things, but very quiet due to how the area is constructed. Also very quick to get into Valletta, and the ubiquitous Bolt taxis mean that nothing is ever far or a pain to get to. For the winter season this location makes sense as there is a lot to do whatever the weather.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The property is absolutely beautiful, the location is excellent, and it offers everything you could wish for during a relaxing vacation.
Every morning, Lama welcomed us warmly at breakfast. She was always happy to help with any questions or requests and provided great tips for planning our day.
For a perfect and relaxing time by the pool, Kiran was outstanding. He never missed an opportunity to assist us with anything we needed and always made us feel welcome while keeping us entertained with friendly conversations.
At the Reef Club Pool, Denis and Andi made the best cocktails and ensured that every pool day was perfect. Their service and positive attitude truly stood out.
In general, all staff members were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, making our stay even more enjoyable.
We would also highly recommend the restaurant Palios. The food was excellent, and it was one of the highlights of our stay.

Our third time here and it never disappoints but gets better and better. Everything in the hotel is clean and fresh and comfortable. The customer service is so friendly. Staff are happy and willing, nothing is too much trouble. It’s family friendly but there are spaces for adults only to enjoy in peace and quiet. There is every facility you could want and a great choice of places to eat fresh and delicious food. This is the place to unwind and relax and have some fun too.
