Great stay with a few downsides
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here! The resort is 100% clean and well-maintained. The staff and everyone working here are amazing – incredibly friendly, helpful, and funny. Top-notch service! The drinks at the bar during the live performances were also brilliant.
As for the downsides, the food in the restaurant was very poor quality (the only exception being the delicious croquettes). Additionally, the rooms could really use some refreshing, as they are starting to show signs of time and wear.
Despite these flaws, our overall experience was very positive!

It is great hotel well planned l, clean and helpfull staff. Rooms are well equipped. Most of the rooms are either has a sea view or partial sea view. Pool is clean and comfortable. Only problem with this hotel is location. There is no family beaches near by. If you are beach entisuast especially with little kids this might be bit annoying.

Santa Barbara Golf is a lovely appointed Hotel over looking the Ocean at Golf del Sur. On entering the Hotel I had a lovely welcome from the staff and they are exceptionally helpful. Being a female traveller on my own they made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Jennifer was the person who welcomed me and sorted out my WiFi and room. It was exceptional to have someone not to busy and had time for me.
Apartments/rooms are very good and have everything you need in them to make your stay perfect. The bedroom is lovely, very comfortable bed and nicely made. The Restaurant is on the 5th Floor it is so beautifully set out and if you sit in the window you have a fantastic view of the Ocean.
The Spa and especially the Jacuzzi is ideal I booked and had a lovely hour to enjoy. Swimming pools are very good and children's pool is excellent. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the facilities at this hotel in sun or shade. This is my first time but I would certainly visit again. Thank you.

We booked a 3 nights stay and everything was fabulous! The property is huuuuuge, well maintained, clean, big and spacious rooms (they’re like Airbnb apartments and come with all facilities like any apartment like a fridge, kitchen, living room etc) with big balcony having chairs, tables and flat chairs for sunbathing. The balconies also have a nice ocean view!
There are all sorts of things: live music at the open bar every night, pool, spa, supermarket, games centre, massage chairs etc.
Highly recommended!

Santa Barbara Golf & Ocean Club is in a great location. Right on the coast facing west with most rooms having sea views. There is a path running alongside accessible from the pool area via a key controlled door), turn left and you can walk to San Blas Centro Commercial (about 20 mins), turn right and there is a strip of nice restaurants and cafes close by plus a small harbour to explore. The rooms are all very well equipped for a self catering holiday, well maintained and clean, as is the whole resort. Staff are friendly and helpful, whether by the front desk or via WhatsApp, nothing is too much trouble. The pool area is perfect for couples and families. There’s an adults only area as well. Pool towels are provided for a small charge and sun loungers can be pre booked the evening before, so there’s no rushing down to place your towel as it is reserved for you. I really like this idea.
There are 2 bars, the pool bar serves breakfast and lunchtime meals, happy hour is 16:30-17:30. The ocean breeze bar is set higher up with sea views, happy hour is 18:00-19:00. There is also a restaurant.
Also on site is a small supermarket and gift shop, a gym and spa, courtesy rooms for showering before departure which you can reserve at reception.
I would recommend this hotel for families and couples alike, I couldn’t fault it at all. Clean, well maintained, friendly staff, great location. And good value for money!
