Good hotel, my room was cleaned every other day and very well, lovely view of the pools, great, clean and big pools.
I loved the food. Yes, it will have the same food some days. But is such a variety that I didn’t have time to get bored. Very well seasoned and cooked from breakfast to dinner. Turkish food is one of the best in the world. I advise people to try the food of the countries you are planing to go before hand. For the price I paid, I received more than expected compared to other places and countries I’ve been before.
The hotel is far from good beaches and the local ones are not good at all. Again, look at the location and reviews before going.
The staff went beyond duty to please us. They are all so so friendly, helpful, caring.
At breakfast, on the second day, the lady cooking the eggs already knew how I liked mine. Amazing!!!
The variety of bread! The honey!!! They even had English breakfast. Some of the food is cooked in front of us fresh from the wood burning oven.
There is a market place where fruits and vegs are enormous and fresh and cheap.
They make tahine, fresh juices in front of us.
We also rented a car from local small business recommended by the hotel. Very honest guy.
The entertainment noise stopped 11pm sharp every night.
For those cat lovers out there, you will find them everywhere. The local people look after them. Cat food and water everywhere. They are allowed to sleep inside the shops and even on the merchandise. Loved it. 🥰
Overall I would return anytime.

We have just had a week at this hotel. We went as a family of 4, with 3 other families. Age range between 2 and 50s.
We were happy with the cleanliness of the hotel. The food was fine, never went hungry. Maybe a bit bland but nothing horrendous. Drink choice was very limited in terms of alcohol.
All drinks are either in a cardboard or plastic cup which isnt amazing, expected in the day when your by the pool but would be nice to have a drink from a glass in the evening.
The pool at the hotel is big, plenty of space but a touch on the cool side but not enough to stop you going in. Pool by the beach that you have to catch the shuttle bus to suited us as a group better, drinks and food options are the same here as at the main hotel. The shop on site we thought was reasonably priced.
Upon arrival to the hotel which for us was after midnight we discovered that out of 3 beds, only one had a duvet or bedsheets. I rang reception they said we would get one in 15 minutes, this didn't happen. I went to reception in the morning and asked again, they said we would get them sent to the room, after a day at the pool we had revieved one extra duvet, I asked again at reception in the evening for 1 more cover. I had to ask another 2 more times before actually getting it.
The rooms were basic. Tea and coffee but no milk. Rooms were pretty cramped for the 4 of us and only 1 wardrobe to put any clothes away and no where to store the suitcases. It was kept clean and our towels were changed almost daily but this wasn't the same for all of our group. Beds were comfortable enough.
There was some watersports available on the beach and a couple of restaurants as well. We went to estini one night as a group and had a lovely meal and drinks, the owners were very friendly and made us all feel at ease, it was reasonably priced too.
When we arrived at the hotel as an English family we were definitely the minority. There was a lot of Turkish families there as it was eid. Im not sure if it is because of this or not but in the week we were there, there was no entertainment suitable for us, the animation team spoke basic English and almost none of the entertainment was translated into English so we had no idea what was happening. We felt like we were avoided by the animation team due to being English, there was no banter or humour at all for the first 5 days of our holiday. We only got approached by them on the last day when the hotel was pretty much empty. Overall this really impacted our experience of the hotel, the evenings were long and if we weren't there as a group we would of found it intimidating. The Turkish guests were pretty rude and inconsiderate, pushing in front of the children all the time, no manners at all. Very limited interactions from the staff that you would usually expect from a Turkish resort.
We had a couple of incidents with one of the male staff waving my 7 year old daughter away when she was trying to get some icecream, we watched him do it on one occasion and my husband approached him and told him not to do it, he then tried to say he was calling her closer but this was not the case. She found this very intimidating and made her feel uncomfortable.
There was also an issue with the lifts, they all at some point stopped working, and there was no rush to get them fixed which isnt ideal when there are people with young children and pushchairs.
On one evening the evening entertainment was a competition, there were 3 Turkish ladies and 1 Welsh lady. We felt the animation team were definitely trying to sway the votes to get the Turkish to win and even though we can't speak the language it was clear that they were mocking the English. We spoke to a few other English families that came later in the week and they all expressed the same feelings. There was no day entertainment except a foam machine that we seen once when we were there.
Overall, we wouldn't holiday here again and we wouldn't recommend to other people mainly due to the feeling of massive bias towards the English.

The hotel was nice but a bit outdated. There was great inconsistency in food and services- some days great, others not so much. Food was quite repetitive, little vegetarian options and poor labelling of the dishes. General cleanliness could be improved.
Facilities were good. Both swimming pools were clean, had a bar and snacks available (though the quality and variability of the snacks provided wasn't great).
Location is quite remote. The local beach isn't best due to rubbish and water quality. This hotel is great for those who like to like to stay in or don't mind travelling a bit further out to explore the local area.
The entertainment area is right outside two blocks of rooms so it can get very loud late at night.
Overall I had a pleasant holiday but im not sure this is a destination id be coming back to.

I am not staying at the Ramada Akbük hotel, but I live nearby. The noise level is incredibly high; my holiday has been ruined just so a few tourists can have fun. I wonder if something like this would ever be allowed in Germany. There is absolutely no respect for the environment or the community. I hope you go out of business soon!!"

It's located in a beautiful place. The service is fantastic, but the rooms are in poor condition; the curtains, drapes, and armchairs are very dirty. The balcony overlooking the mountains and the pool is the most beautiful thing you'll see.
