Our stay at Paradisus by Meliá Bali was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every aspect of the resort reflected the standards you would expect from a true 5-star experience.
The resort itself is beautiful, the facilities are outstanding, and the service is second to none. Every staff member we encountered was polite, genuinely happy, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. It was clear that guest satisfaction is a priority throughout the entire resort.
A special mention must go to Adytia, one of the pool waiters, who was absolutely phenomenal. He consistently went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were well looked after throughout our stay. His attentiveness, professionalism, friendly nature, and willingness to help never went unnoticed. No request was ever too much trouble, and he always made us feel valued and cared for. Team members like Adytia are what turn a great holiday into a memorable one.
I cannot speak highly enough of our experience at Paradisus by Meliá Bali. I will certainly be spruiking this resort to anyone who asks about our recent stay in Bali, and without hesitation, we will be returning for another visit in the future.
Thank you to Adytia and the entire team for making our family holiday so enjoyable and memorable. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

We recently stayed at Paradisus by Meliá for 7 nights as a family of six (2 adults, 2 children, and 2 grandparents). After booking nine months in advance and reading so many glowing reviews, we were excited to experience a true 5-star resort. Unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations.
The resort itself is beautiful. The gardens are immaculate, the main pool has a great atmosphere, and the kids loved the water slides. The beach was another highlight, and we enjoyed spending time there as a family.
Our biggest disappointment was the service. We requested connecting rooms months before arrival but were told we'd need to pay an extra USD $600, with no guarantee. We ended up with rooms next to each other, meaning my husband and I had to sleep separately with one child each.
Our room also had a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom throughout our stay. Despite reporting it several times over 6 days, the issue was never resolved.
Breakfast was inconsistent, with basic buffet items regularly running out, slow drink service, and even children's juice attracting an additional charge. We also found communication difficult at times due to the language barrier.
The elevators frequently broke down, and we felt there was a noticeable difference in the level of service provided to bed and breakfast guests compared with all-inclusive guests.
Overall, Paradisus by Meliá has fantastic facilities and beautiful grounds, but the customer service, maintenance issues, and overall guest experience fell short of what we expect from a 5-star resort

We stayed at this hotel in July and really enjoyed it. A great and huge territory where you can meet peacocks, cranes and other animals that do not interfere at all. I would also like to thank the staff: they are always ready to help, support small talk and tell us something interesting. Special thanks to the Widia girl at the bar near the beach, she could perfectly tell and advise the drinks, she brought everything very quickly and efficiently. A great vacation that will definitely be remembered.

I had high expectations for Paradisus by Meliá Nusa Dua, especially because it is part of the Meliá Group. I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and with a price quite similar to other 5-star hotels in Nusa Dua, I honestly expected a much better experience.
Unfortunately, both the room and service need serious improvement. Check-in was already messy. I arrived around 3 PM, but there was no staff guiding guests on where to queue or whether to sit while waiting. For a 5-star resort, I expected a proper welcome and a more organized check-in process.
After check-in, we were escorted to the room, but our luggage only arrived around 30 minutes later. Then came the biggest issue: the shower drainage was blocked, causing the room to flood. For a newly renovated “resort,” this was very disappointing. I had to put towels all over the floor just to manage the water.
When I raised a complaint, it did not feel like the issue was taken seriously. One technician came, then another, then another. At one point, there were more technicians in the small room than actual guests. What a lovely 5-star experience.
After another complaint to reception, we were finally moved to another room, which they called a Junior Suite. They highlighted that it had two TVs, as if I paid around IDR 3 million per night just to watch Netflix and the news at the same time. I am still not sure whether it was an actual upgrade or simply a different room with a slightly different layout.
The facilities were also underwhelming. Compared to Westin Nusa Dua, where I stayed two weeks earlier, many basic facilities felt more guest-friendly there. At Paradisus, even getting water around the pool or beach was not easy, as there was no complimentary refreshment water available.
Service timing was another issue. I ordered beverages and had to wait around two hours, even after following up three times.
Overall, this was such a wild and disappointing experience. Sadly, I will not be staying here again.

Just spent 10 days at Melia and although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, there are definitely areas for improvement. We were travelling with a toddler and had to do washing during our stay. Around 20 items cost $130 to wash. Socks were essentially $10 a pair to wash which is insane.
We visited two of the onsite restaurants during our stay and found the food mediocre. Our biggest complaint was the tiny portions. I believe this is due to the hotel offering all inclusive and therefore they want to keep the portions small for all inclusive guests who might over order several items as its included in their stay. We found similar with some drinks. I ordered a glass of bubbles which was half filled to the top.
On more positive notes the staff were incredibly friendly and the service was good. The kids clubs and kids pool was amazing and went far beyond our expectations. We loved being close to Bali Connection and the beach.
