We stayed at the Meliá Costa Atlantis Tenerife and overall had a very enjoyable trip. The food was very good, especially breakfast, with a good variety and quality. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained, which made our stay very comfortable.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the hotel and always made us feel welcome.
The only downside for us was that the pool only opens at 10:00 am. As we liked to explore the island early in the morning, it would have been nice to take a quick refreshing swim before heading out for the day.
Overall, it’s a very good hotel in a great location, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness and friendly service.

We stayed there for 4 nights during Christmas holiday, upgraded the room, and have access to the lounge , plus one entry to the spa. The Rom has Seaview and good size. The reception staffs were friendly and helpful. But the house keeper may need more educating. When we checked in, one of the rooms has strong stench of the sewer. And the toilet Has many small insects, it might be the room hasn’t had guests to stay for a while or too humid. The glasses in the room were dusted. I didn’t ask to change the room, didn’t want to pack and unpack again. So I asked the reception to do a deep cleaning. When we back tkt eh room, the smell was gone, however after one night, the smell came back. And the towel was not clean. The house keeper shall check the towel to avoid this unpleasant issue. As every day we were out and back to the hotel late, finally the we asked the hotel change the room. As they cannot remove the smell by add some liquid to the pipes. The lounge was a good option, we got full day drinks and snacks. And the room has a nice view and close to the city center. The hotel room it self is a bit out of date. The photos on the hotel website look better.

We had a great 10 day stay here..Rooms were good and reasonably spacious; ours overlooked the sea so we had a good view.
Right next to the beach and a few minutes walk from the lido. This hotel looks smart but some of the surrounding hotels could certainly do with some updating. Probably the nicest part of Puerto de la Cruz is near the botanic gardens, about 20 min walk away.
Breakfast was excellent. Evening buffet was good with plenty of variety.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here last year and this year in september, it was a great hotel even before the refurb but now looks even more amazing. The staff are great, the buffet is lovely with different things on each night at dinner. The room gets cleaned everyday which is a nice feeling after a long day at the beach, the location is perfect. Ignore any other reviews that are not 5 stars and book it if youre thinking of going!! im sure we will be back multiple times again. Thank you for a 10 out 10 experience once again!😃😃

Not my first stay at a Meliá hotel, but it will be the last.
Day 1
Room poorly thought out, looks lovely, but totally unsuitable for a holiday stay without living out of your cases.
Had TV issues, reception and no picture. This was mentioned to the reception team and has been resolved today.
The service staff in The Level, awful. Obnoxious, rude and give the general feeling customers are in the way.
No food or drink from the level, also extends finishing your open bottle of water...... Not really the experience we expected or paid for.
Hoping the hotel will turn this around, await to hear from them.
Well, they did pester us (phone calls to mobile and emails) and listened to our concerns. They offered another room on Monday, the room was nicer, the bathroom not as, so we stayed.
As for the Level service, this continued to be poor and unacceptable. In fairness, by Wednesday, the staff were not as rude, but, was not anywhere near the levels expected.
After the room offer, there was no further follow up or communication made with us.
Generally all round, and incredibly disappointing stay. The staff were trying, I think seriously let down by poor management. Also, curious as to the grey haired gentleman, in a white jacket. Behaved like management with the staff, but ignored, avoided and even covered his name badge when near guests??
