Beautiful hotel. The room is nice and spacious. Location is great. The breakfast selection is excellent. The carpet throughout the hallways are soaking wet. The roof leaks when it rains so they put out a bucket. It doesn’t smell moldy but I think it is better if the carpet were removed (also carpet make rolling bags difficult the move). All in all a pleasant stay.

Kenzie Rose Garden Hotel – mixed experience
We stayed at the Kenzie Rose Garden Hotel for a full week (Tuesday to Tuesday, including a weekend). It is a fairly posh hotel and very busy, especially due to conferences, which influences the overall experience.
The hotel itself feels a bit tired, but the rooms are spacious and generally okay. The beds were actually very good — firm and comfortable — and room service/cleaning was consistently excellent. The heated pool (around 28°C) is a real plus, and having towels available at the pool is very convenient.
Breakfast, however, was the biggest disappointment and ultimately the main reason we wouldn’t return. Because of conferences, it can be extremely busy. While there are plenty of coffee machines (so no long waits), the coffee quality is poor. Even more disappointing are the “fresh juices” on offer — orange, carrot, etc. — which are clearly artificial, watery, and overly sweet. This is particularly frustrating because there is a hand-pressed apple-banana juice available in a jug, proving that good, fresh juice is possible if they chose to offer it more widely.
The breakfast room also has an open fire, which makes the space quite smoky. At the same time, because we stayed at the end of January, mornings were cool (around 17°C outside), so the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable rather than cozy.
Pricing is on the high side. We paid an extra €200 for an additional room for two people, which sets expectations higher than what is delivered — especially when breakfast, something many guests value highly, falls short.
In summary: good beds, clean rooms, a nice heated pool, but an outdated feel, disappointing breakfast, and prices that don’t fully match the quality. For us, not a place we would choose again — mainly because starting the day with a good breakfast simply isn’t possible here.

We had an overall pleasant stay at Kenzi Rose Gardens. One of the highlights of the property is the heated outdoor pool, which was very enjoyable and well maintained. The staff truly made a difference to our experience, they were consistently friendly, kind, and welcoming, always greeting guests with a genuine smile.
Areas for improvement:
Breakfast service between 9:00 and 10:00 am tends to become quite hectic due to the rush of guests. Allocating breakfast time slots to guests could help manage the crowd more smoothly. Additionally, there were a few minor maintenance issues, such as water clogging in the sink, which unfortunately wasn’t resolved despite being mentioned a couple of times.
Special mentions:
A big thank you to the breakfast restaurant team who handled the morning rush professionally. Manager Hanan was especially kind and supportive, and it was nice to see her actively engaging with the team.
Special appreciation as well to the pool staff — Mohammed, Hamza, and Ayoub — who were always friendly, approachable, and made an effort to interact with guests.
Soufiyan at reception also deserves a mention for consistently greeting us warmly and checking in with us.
Overall, Kenzi Rose Gardens is a nice place to stay and is fairly well maintained. With a few small improvements, the experience could be even better.

We were booked in for a week for our anniversary. On check in we were told we had been "upgraded" and were put in a triple room.
We asked to be moved to a king room and were shown a room that had clearly had someone smoking in there, so we stayed in the triple room.
On the first day we asked for the shower gel to be filled as it was empty, it never got filled.
The carpets and floors are not very well cleaned.
The pool area is nice and there is a heated pool.
The staff in the restaurant are very welcoming.
The gardens are lovely and there's lots of bird song.
The location is perfect if you want a relaxed break close enough to the Medina to walk - it takes about 30 minutes.
Do not get a taxi from the rank outside, they say they "work with the hotel" but charge more than double Vs just hailing a cab if you walk 20m down the road.

The staff are so friendly, and everything you might need is conveniently nearby. I especially love the outdoor pools, which are heated during the winter in Marrakesh, it makes swimming so enjoyable year-round. Kids loved the hotel and it also had some activities for them at the kids' club. The rooms were nice and in good size.
