This was our fourth stay at this hotel and our second visit over the New Year period. On every occasion, we have had an excellent holiday, but this visit was particularly enjoyable as we booked Star Prestige on a bed and breakfast basis, which exceeded our expectations.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with our usual welcome drink, and despite arriving at approximately 1:00 pm, our room was already prepared and available. We stayed in room 1073 on the top floor and experienced no issues with lift availability throughout our stay.
The Star Prestige upgrade provides access to several exclusive areas, along with complimentary drinks (including alcoholic beverages) and a selection of snacks and sandwiches, which we frequently used for lunch during the day. Although we did not use the rooftop area due to windy conditions at that time of year, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing and sunbathing in the Star Prestige area located just above the main pool. There were always plenty of sunbeds available, making it a calm and relaxing space throughout the day.
For this stay, we opted for bed and breakfast only. However, having previously stayed on both half-board and all-inclusive packages, we can confidently say that the food at this hotel is exceptional. We often compare the dining experience here with other hotels we visit, and none have matched the quality and variety on offer. While the buffet is extensive and features live cooking stations, it is extremely well organised, and despite the size of the dining room, it never feels crowded or chaotic.
As there were only two of us on this trip, we preferred to dine out in the evenings and therefore did not attend the New Year’s Gala Dinner. Instead, we chose a restaurant that we have visited every New Year for the past three years.
Overall, this was another outstanding stay at this hotel. The staff, location, food quality, and, in particular, the exceptional cleanliness consistently stand out. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and are confident that anyone who books will have a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff are truly lovely and incredibly friendly, especially with children. They were so playful and attentive with my little one, and they have made her first holiday such a special and memorable experience. It really meant a lot and has left a lasting impression.
A special mention to Eidel, who is an exceptional member of staff – extremely welcoming, warm, and an absolute pleasure to be served by. His kindness really stood out and added to our overall experience and the crêpes are definitely a must. My daughter loved her peppa pig shaped crêpe.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again in the future

We had a wonderful stay at Iberostar Bouganville Playa in Costa Adeje. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent and truly stood out. Every member of staff was exceptional—always welcoming, attentive, and so incredibly kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The food was a real highlight of our stay. The buffet offered an amazing selection with something for everyone, and the quality was outstanding. The seafood in particular was impressively fresh and delicious, making each meal something to look forward to.
Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, with the room cleaning service being consistently thorough and reliable throughout our stay.
The location is fantastic, with loads of shops just steps away from the hotel and an amazing beach nearby, making it incredibly convenient and perfect for both relaxing and exploring.
All of the staff were excellent, but a special mention must go to Yuri, who was incredibly kind in the restaurant and looked after us so well throughout our stay. Juliet also truly stood out—she had such a positive aura and a warm, welcoming presence, always greeting guests with an amazing smile.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We would highly recommend Iberostar Bouganville Playa to anyone looking for exceptional service, fantastic food, and a comfortable, well-maintained place to stay in Costa Adeje.

We stayed in the hotel this Christmas with 3 kids age 9-13. The location is great and the rooms were spacious and clean.
The food was good, but not as varied as in other Iberostar hotels I've been (or other similar ones). The service was ok, but not great, Specifically, we had half board, and the staff made us feel not as welcome as the all inclusive visitors. They also made us buy water which is not included and claim they have no tap water to offer.
The check in process was lengthily - and took 40 mins, after the day before I did online check-in for 30 mins, and the receptionist forgot to update us on important things like towels and parking.
Overall, we had a good vacation but a low ROI on this hotel.

We had a gorgeous stay at Bouganville Playa. The hotel is beautiful and offers so much for kids. The service and food were absolutely spot on. The location is ideal within walking distance of Siam Park, Siam Mall, Aqualand, and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay. A massive shout-out to Juan for looking after my daughter and me he is an absolute gentleman!
