The positives are::
Beautifully designed pod accommodation. Comfortable beds with warm duvet and blanket - very important to me.
Very nice and helpful receptionist.
No insects inside.
Very spacious pod.
On the down side:
The accommodation was very cold despite a heater that seemed to be just blowing out cold air.
No receptionist at night.
No possibility to book airport transfer less than three days in advance.
I could smell someone smoking at the back of the restaurant which is off-putting and the pizza I had there was very unappetising and tasted like the sauce was out of a jar. There are extremely rude, impolite and ignorant breakfast staff in the cafe who turn off the juice machine and start clearing everything away at 10.45am when breakfast runs until 11am who shout and snap at you and mumble under their breath. Plus horrible omelette with runny egg white and pineapple juice from machine like dirty yellowish water that tastes like sick in my opinion. Just left there this morning and same waiter very rude again. I would not come back to this beautiful hotel if it meant having to encounter such ignorant breakfast staff again - I have never in my life encountered such staff, especially the one in particular who was so very rude.

Although I paid for a sea view, the sea was only visible from one corner of the lounge, as right in front of our pod was a huge H10 hotel, which completely blocked our view of the sea. You could not see the sea from the terrace. There was no bar, so after dinner there was nowhere to sit, so we had to go back to our room. The restaurant staff were not very friendly or helpful. On one occasion my husband went without a drink at his evening meal because he couldn't get served. The jacuzzi was out of order. The wellness area was old and disappointing. The whole complex seemed well past its sell by date. Not good value for money at all.

We had a relaxing holiday at this lovely quiet hotel. The staff were friendly and for us the location at the edge of the resort was perfect. There is a lovely little beach down the hill from the hotel and it's only a short walk to the town centre restaurants.

Liked the rooms design. Lots of space. Chilled vibe. Bathroom needed retiling i think. Rooms serviced daily. Breakfast quite good. Staff lovely.

By far the worst hotel experience of my life:
After dinner at the hotel restaurant the 13/10/25 , I suffered severe vomiting all night.
Around 1 a.m the 14/10/25. there was no staff at the reception, and the emergency number didn’t answer despite multiple calls.
I had to call a private medical service and was taken to the hospital (injection, IV fluids, observation).
I have the official medical bill (€735) and prescriptions as proof.
The hotel director refused any responsibility, merely admitting there was a KNOWN “phone issue”.
To make things worse, everyone at the hotel already knew the phone line was out of service, yet no measures were taken.
This hotel is mostly filled with retired guests enjoying their holidays, many of whom are elderly and could need urgent medical help at night.
The fact that there is no functional emergency system or staff on duty overnight shows an unacceptable level of negligence and zero sense of responsibility.
The director even suggested I might have been pregnant, as if that could explain endless vomiting — honestly, if I had been, I would have vomited the fetus too given how violently I was sick.
That alone shows the complete lack of compassion and professionalism from the management.
No empathy, no help, no safety.
⚠️ Strongly do not recommend this hotel.
I have filed an official complaint with the Cabildo de Fuerteventura and the Government of the Canary Islands.
👉 I am willing to provide full medical evidence to any authority who wishes to verify my statement.
