I've just stayed for five nights at the Ambassador 2 Hotel. I normally stay in an apartment, but decided to try a hotel this time, and I'm so glad I did. It certainly didn't disappoint – I loved it so much that I've already booked to come back next year!
I'm not usually a fan of hotel buffet dinners, so I only had breakfast each morning, which was lovely. In the evenings, my daughter and I ate out.
We were kindly given a complimentary upgrade to a mini suite, which meant we each had our own bedroom. The suite was spacious, beautifully presented, and had a balcony on the 9th floor overlooking the pools – the view was fantastic.
Our room was cleaned every other day, with fresh towels provided each time, and it was always spotless. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay – friendly, attentive, and genuinely keen to make sure we had the best possible holiday.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Ambassador 2 Hotel and I'm already looking forward to returning next year.

Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything - from next doors alarms to people walking up the stairs down the corridor.
The cleaners can come in at all hours, even when you’re asleep they will use their key to get in - happened to myself twice/thrice, I was asleep and thankfully had the blankets on otherwise I would have been exposed.
If they don’t clean your room everyday you will receive a letter about health and safety = no time to relax - especially when you are already panicking about them coming in - even had a couple use their key to get into my room, had to escort them away.
They don’t do a very good job at cleaning, as they didn’t replace the clearly finished soap, which was much needed.
Food:
Not many options, and not very nice taste. If you go down for a solo meal, you will receive stares from everyone, which made me feel uncomfortable when I was just trying to eat.
Balcony:
On my level 5 room at a certain time an eggy smell whiffs through, along with a lot of noise in the early morning.
Time:
Would advise against staying for a long period of time.
Location:
After all the location is a good one, close to bars, the beach, restaurants and shops - however don’t buy sweets or soft toys from the shops just across as they smell and taste awful like the surroundings.
Watch out for people pushing flowers into your hands for money.
The website makes the hotel look much better than it is.

This hotel is a great location, very clean, maid service daily towels chsnged, the staff can't do enough for you. We asked for a room change when we arrived it was done for us within 20 minutes. Great variety of food all fresh and replenished often. Pool area with lits of sunbeds available all very clean too. We've already booked for next year. Highly recommend.

This hotel is a little piece of loveliness in the centre of Benidorm. As soon as you step inside it’s clean and remarkably quiet especially in the rooms
Foods fab and well worth a look at paying extra for full board
A big thank you goes to Amanda on reception.
I was quite poorly with an infection whilst I was there and she helped me to navigate everything and helped with translating so I was prepared when I got to the hospital. Pure care was so very much appreciated
Wonderful hotel wonderful amazing staff

We always stay at the Ambassador…… it’s great . For the last two years we have stayed at Ambassador 2. I just wanted to stay a big thank you to Amanda and the team who have made our stay amazing . There’s 3 of us and she went out of her way to make sure we were next to each other . When your ladies and one’s on their own .. small acts of kindness make a difference. She is helpful and knowledgeable… a real asset to the team . Thanks so much
