Great hotel, rooms clean and a good size everything you need for self catering, pool area big with plenty of sunbeds. The hotel as plenty of amenities, kids play areas, tennis courts, pool tables, arcade . It even as it's own launderette ! Pool snack bar , nighty entertainment . There is also a massive shopping mall two minutes away with every shop you need plus a massive Carrefour hypermarket. The only one down side to all this is that it's about a 25 min walk to the main square where all the bars and restaurants are . But apart from that it's a great hotel .

Had a fabulous 14 days in this great hotel. As a group of 6 spanning 3 generations we were all really happy with all aspects of the hotel, staff and service.
You can reach everything you need in 15 minutes walk - shopping centre (huge supermarket), beach, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, social club, even the water park (well worth a visit if you have kids under 12).
If you can walk 30-40 minutes then you can walk to almost the far side of the town including the harbour and all the towns major attractions.
Don’t want to walk? Taxis are cheap (€5-8) and on demand from the shopping centre opposite the hotel (their app works really well), or the bus stop directly outside the front doors which comes every 10-15 minutes.
The hotel itself feels modern and light. Fresh towels every 4 days, room cleaning and bed making every 4 days. Very good service. Good free WiFi. Good laundry room on site (€5 washer + €3 dryer), gym, arcade room and sports pitch. Fantastic and well maintained pool area with great food and drink options at reasonable price from the hotel bar/pool snack bar.
Special shoutout to the lifeguards, pool staff and maintenance guys who all put in proper shits each day to ensure the hotel grounds looked tip-top and the guests were entertained.
My kids loved the pool, great vibe, lots of space and loads of other kids to make friends with - there are plenty of sunbeds so no need to queue up at 10am, so long as you amble in before 11 you’ll be able to grab some (we stayed during peak time).
Overall I’m giving 5 stars, however, things for slight improvement would be: a little more storage in the rooms, bigger and comfier beds in the living area and a couple more key kitsch utensils such as mixing bowls and storage containers. I’m nitpicking and wouldn’t take anything from the overall experience which was top-notch.
Note - Some people may not like the loud concerts taking place nearby at the castle - a room facing inside would probably solve this but it’s something to consider if you’re a light sleeper.
We’d definitely stay again, loved the hotel and the town and hope to come back again soon. Thank you all for a wonderful stay - the Fowler/Marshall family.

I was here with a orchestra, and the rooms where... Ok. I would call it the best, but not the worst. Service was okay, they began shouting when I asked for extra room key, but they fixed it. The location was really good and it was close to the mall and the beach. The pool activities were actually quite fun.

Have to say that it was a lovely place to stay. If you're looking for 5 star luxury its not for you, however, if you're looking for a lovely smiling team of staff who will help you in any way they can, then check in. Room is functional but comfy. Food again isn't 5 star but I had the half chicken today and it really was lovely.
Irene in reception, who i only spoke to briefly was just so helpful and gave us a late checkout till 1pm which was very nice.
Bar staff are always smiling and its a breath of fresh air coming from hospitality myself.
Couldn't praise them enough.
Pool is cold but we persevered and enjoyed non the less.
If there was 1 criticism it would be the air-conditioning, didn't work very well at all in room 508, only 1 fan came on and it was rubbish.

We stayed at Fuengirola Apart Hotel with my family and were honestly impressed.
The apartment was much larger than expected, and the terrace was the real highlight: huge, well laid out, with a view over the pool and even the sea in the distance.
There are plenty of activities for kids, which makes it very family-friendly. On top of that, the location is great just two minutes from the mall, which is extremely convenient.
Overall, a very comfortable and practical place for a family stay. Highly recommended.
