The hotel has an excellent location by the beach, but it’s a pity it doesn’t have its own sunbeds on the beach. The pools at the hotel are large and pleasant. The food was good, sometimes with a slightly monotonous selection, but I enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. We had a safe in our room, so we didn’t have to worry about our personal belongings. The evening drinks were a pleasant way to spend time.

I would say 9/10. Freshly renovated hotel, spacious rooms with modern minimalistic design, comfortable bed, bathroom cosmetics. I didn’t have a problem with cleaning service, it was cleaned daily. I didn’t have a problem with noise from the street but that probably depends on where your room is located. No problem with AC, I could turn it off if I didn’t want it to work. Staff were polite and responsive. From the backyard of the hotel you go straight at the beach which is perfect. As for the food - here I would take one star away. A variety of salads, starters, desserts and fruits. Most of the main courses though - for me not a good choice of recipes for a 4 star hotel or they just can’t cook them well (if you level up the quality of the main dishes the overall experience would be perfect) Also desserts are not so fancy, but they are fresh at least. Otherwise you get a lot of food and drinks throughout the whole day. After all I enjoyed my stay and I would be glad to visit it again.

The room was large, recently updated and had a great view (which we paid extra for). Everything else about the hotel was a disappointment. Some of the features in the room were broken like the TV, phone and mirror in the bathroom. The A/C kept resetting to 25 degrees Celsius, needless to say making it hot. I didn’t sleep comfortably any of the 3 nights we were there. We asked the front desk for repairs to everything but nothing was ever fixed. They were short staffed in all departments. Housekeeping only replaced towels- they didn’t clean or replace coffee or bath soaps. The food was mediocre at best and when a dish or beverage ran out, they were very slow to replace it. It’s the first time I went to an all inclusive resort and didn’t want to eat or drink there. The room prices are high, so I was expecting better overall quality. Quite a disappointment. If you’re looking for a trip to Sunny Beach, I recommend staying somewhere else.

Brilliant Value – As Long As You Know What You’re Getting
If you’re on a tight budget but still want some sunshine and a change of scenery, this place genuinely offers fantastic value for money. The package price is almost unbelievably low – and for that reason alone, it’s hard to complain.
Yes, the hotel claims to have been refurbished. Perhaps in parts – but it’s still very much a 1970s building that’s had a fresh coat of paint and a few updates here and there. It’s clean, though, and that goes a long way.
The food is acceptable, and while the drinks are bottom-shelf local stuff (don’t expect brand names or proper cocktails), the lager is actually rather decent. The hotel’s in a good spot near the beach, though be aware that loungers on the sand will set you back €15 a day, as the hotel doesn’t have any there. That said, there’s usually plenty of space around the hotel pools.
Top tip: hop in a taxi to Nessebar Old Town – it’s charming, atmospheric and a lovely contrast to Sunny Beach, which is more Blackpool-with-sunshine than boutique Euro resort. But hey, a week in Blackpool would cost you more, and you’d be lucky to get a tan.
If you’ve got no extra cash to spare, this place is a bargain. If you can stretch to an extra £500 per head, though, you might find the upgrade worth it. Either way – sun, sea, lager and somewhere clean to sleep? You could do a lot worse.

The first room we were given was dirty on arrival, and although we were moved to a new one, issues continued. Despite reporting it, no cleaning service came to our room (after reporting lady came to empty the bin once). Even more concerning, a staff member entered our room twice without knocking or announcing herself—just opened the door and later said it was a mistake. This was reported the TUI rep.
DO NOT COME HERE IF GOOD FOOD IS IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR HOLIDAY!!!
The food was another major letdown. Most of the main courses at lunch and dinner were bland, dry, or simply inedible. Breakfast was okay, and the fruit and salad were the most reliable options. However, the desserts were disappointing—overly sweet and tasted like cheap, store-bought items.
The air conditioning in the room barely worked; the temperature remained above 22°C even when we set it to 12°C, and it kept randomly resetting throughout the day. The room also lacked proper blackout curtains, making it very bright during the day and difficult to rest. Additionally, the TV remote didn’t work on arrival, and we had to go to reception to get a working one.
Despite the hotel’s modern appearance and good location - the poor service, lack of basic hospitality, and substandard food made this one of the worst holidays we’ve had. Go somewhere else.
