We had high expectations, but unfortunately this hotel was disappointing overall.
The hotel is built on a steep hill, with the rooms, restaurant, pool, and other facilities spread across the property. A road runs through the resort and is regularly used by service vans and cars, so it doesn't feel like a safe, enclosed resort where children can freely run and play.
The biggest disappointment was the food. The quality was very poor, with cheap pastries and some of the lowest-quality ham and meat we've experienced at a hotel. There were also very limited options for guests with dietary requirements—no lactose-free or vegan milk for coffee and no sugar-free soft drinks.
The service also needs significant improvement. Bar staff often seemed overwhelmed, took a long time to serve guests, and frequently had to ask for the same order multiple times. Tables in the restaurant were not cleaned properly, and overall the staff appeared stressed, which affected the guest experience.
Other downsides include the gym opening only at 10:00 AM, which is far too late for guests who prefer to work out before breakfast or the beach, and the fact that drinking water is not provided free of charge in the restaurant.
On the positive side, the family rooms are spacious enough for a family of four, and some offer beautiful sea views. There is also a water slide by the pool, although this is essentially the only entertainment available for children.
Overall, this hotel has potential because of its location and room size, but the poor food, weak service, lack of family-friendly design, and limited facilities make it difficult to recommend.

We just ended our holliday in this hotel. Family of four, and it was wonderful. Our room was spacious, the bathroom also. The staff was warm and friendly. Towells were changed daily and rooms were kept clean. The beach is 5 minutes cosy walk away from the hotel. Sunbeds on the beach are free for the guests. Food is very good and the dining area is clean. We paid for HB accommodation and it was mor than enuff. The wifi signal is excellent in any part of the hotel. This was our first visit to the hotel, and we are more than satisfied. Deffinitely will come again. Kids loved the place. Big praise for Jelena who works at the reception. See u next year!

Exceptional stay once again!
We had an incredible time at Alexandros Palace. The room was wonderful with a stunning view, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the overall atmosphere was super relaxing.
We’ve been coming back here and it never disappoints. Highly recommended for families!

This was our third consecutive stay at Alexandros, and once again, we were truly impressed by our experience.
From the moment we arrived, we received the same warm welcome we have come to expect—full of smiles, genuine hospitality, and personal attention that made us feel at home.
Our room had a beautiful sea view, was fully renovated, and was impeccably cleaned every single day. Everything was comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully maintained.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the new additions to the restaurant's menu introduced by the new chef. Congratulations to the chef for the excellent work! The food was varied and delicious, offering something for every taste—from outstanding fresh Greek fish and perfectly grilled specialties to Italian dishes and many other options. Every meal was a pleasure.
The staff, as always, were friendly, professional, and eager to help with anything we needed. Their positive attitude and dedication make a real difference and create a wonderful atmosphere throughout the hotel.
Once again, our stay at Alexandros was exceptional, and we are delighted that we chose to return. We truly appreciate the tireless efforts of the entire team to maintain such a high standard of service and hospitality.
We are already looking forward to our next visit and will certainly continue coming back. Thank you to everyone at Alexandros for making our holidays so memorable year after year!

We had a wonderful stay at Alexandros Palace, and after reading so many negative reviews before our trip, I honestly feel like I should share our experience. First of all, the location is beautiful. The hotel is surrounded by nature, it’s peaceful and relaxing, and it’s the perfect place if you want to escape the crowds. Our room was lovely, with a beautiful sea view, and it was cleaned every single day. The staff deserves special praise. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always happy to help with anything we needed. They really made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast and dinner buffet offered a good variety of food every day. I noticed many reviews complaining about the quality and selection, but that simply wasn’t our experience. We always found plenty of fresh and tasty options, and there was enough variety for everyone. I would also highly recommend trying one of the massages from their daily offer.
What makes me sad is that this hotel gets so many unfair negative reviews. Of course, no hotel is perfect, but some people seem to book the cheapest room available and then expect a luxury experience that exceeds what they actually paid for. It’s important to have realistic expectations. For us, Alexandros Palace exceeded them. Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so enjoyable.
