Overall a really great hotel with lovely staff and modern rooms. I booked for 5 nights as a last minute solo holiday in early November.
The food was decent. The snack bar has lots to choose from and what I ate was great! because the dining area is a modest size, it can be quite loud, so if you’re by yourself, it’s worth bringing some headphones or earplugs to minimise the noise.
There are plenty of sun loungers, so there was never a day where you couldn’t get one. You can take drinks to your lounger and you’re allowed to smoke as well.
There is no entertainment, so might not be ideal for young children, but there’s a nice atmosphere and everyone’s really friendly.
Rooms were lovely and modern, and the housekeeping staff do a great job of cleaning up. The water pressure in the shower was AMAZING. The room comes equipped with a hairdryer in the bathroom, but there is no styling nozzle, so don’t expect a salon blow dry from it! The plugs in my room seemed to be quite loose, so I struggled to use my adapter in some of them. I’m sure I could have reported this and changed rooms, but a few of them were fine so it wasn’t a big deal.
I struggled to figure out the air con as it doesn’t come with instructions. At one point I couldn’t get it working at all, but after phoning reception, they advised that you have to have your balcony door closed for it to work, so keep that in mind! After some time sitting on the balcony, I noticed the outdoor aircon (?) would turn on, which is nice during the day but at night when it’s a bit chilly, it gets really cold!
Room comes with a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. You get a few portions of coffee and some tea bags. They also provide a carton of water.
The bed is very very firm, so if this isn’t to your preference then be warned that you’ll wake up a bit sore each morning.
I’d recommend requesting a room that faces the pool as you get sun on the balcony from around 2pm and you will get a gorgeous view of the sunsets. The other rooms will get the sun in the morning, but by around 11am, you’re in the shade.
One negative is that the wifi was really REALLY poor. In the rooms, it felt impossible to watch videos or stream anything, and even using WhatsApp my messages wouldn’t send at times. I think the only place it really works is in the reception area, maybe the bar.
The grass by the pool is real grass, so there did seem to be quite a lot of flies around while you were by the pool, but that’s not a fault from the hotel, just worth noting.

We had a week at the San Fermin in mid-October. We were lucky as the weather was fantastic; 27° minimum and 30° one day. We had bed and breakfast as we like to visit other restaurants. The breakfast was excellent, with loads of choice. The whole hotel and grounds were spotless and cleaned regularly. There was a problem with the shower head that was fixed right away. We had a problem with ants in the room; this was disinfected right away but they came back after two days because there was a gap in the corner of the room. This is the only reason we have 4 stars, otherwise it would have been 5. It wasn't a major issue as we killed a lot of them before they built up, but the disinfectant was only a short term fix and the same problem will happen again with the next residents until something more permanent is done.
What we liked:
-Plenty of sunbeds and lots of space.
-Two pools, one very large and great for swimming.
-Nice snack and drinks bar.
- We had an evening meal in the restaurant the first night and the food was good, with plenty of choice at €18 per person.
-We upgraded to a pool view which is a must in our opinion; the vista is far superior, with better atmosphere and nicer sunset.
-The location was excellent with a great choice of restaurants; we prefer the Non-British type, although there was masses of choice for both, and the food we had was excellent.
-We had a night at Mijas in the mountains which was fantastic. An UBER was about €17 each way. You need to book for a restaurant as they WILL get full; that was our favourite meal of the week.
-We enjoyed the walk along the beach to the marina, having some decent cocktails at a reasonable price.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a three-day break in October, and we genuinely loved our time here. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, tidy, and comfortable our room was. The hotel was very welcoming, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway.
One of the standout highlights was the food. Every dinner item we had from the menu was absolutely delicious, honestly some of the best hotel dining we’ve enjoyed in quite a while. There was plenty of variety, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the service was consistently quick and friendly.
Another big positive was the availability of sunbeds. No rushing down early in the morning or fighting for a spot; there were always plenty available, which made lounging by the pool stress-free and enjoyable.
That said, there were a few downsides worth mentioning. The pool was freezing, much colder than we expected, so we didn’t swim as much as we’d hoped.
We also had an issue with housekeeping one day when no towel was left in our room, which took longer than expected to sort out. And, surprisingly, we found someone else’s underwear at the back of the wardrobe, which wasn’t pleasant and suggested the room wasn’t checked as thoroughly as it should have been.
The hill leading up to the hotel is also rather steep, so it might be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues or for those not expecting the climb.
Despite those minor hiccups, we still had a wonderful stay overall. The atmosphere, food quality, and general comfort made it a memorable short break.

Fantastic Stay from Start to Finish!
Not sure where to start because everything was spot on. The staff were so friendly I felt like part of the family by day two! 👋😁
The food was plentiful and really well presented. Only tiny gripe… whoever ordered the British bacon and sausage clearly hasn’t been to a UK café, but we survived 😅🥓
The hotel was spotless, the gardens looked like they’d been trimmed with nail scissors, and the air con worked better than my fridge back home. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels replaced every day.
A big shout out to Veronica on reception who arranged a late checkout until 4.30 pm for just €20. Worth every penny to avoid the mad suitcase rush! 💼⏰
We had such a great time that we’ve already decided to come back in January. Can’t wait! 🌴☀️

Fantastic Hotel rooms were very spacious and we had a lovely view of the sea and Mountains.
The restaurant food was superb especially Breakfast.
Pool was huge and plenty of loungers around the vast grassed area also had a Zen pool area that we preferred.
Staff very friendly and we highly recommend this hotel.
