*Room cleaning is absolutely shocking* I stayed at Hotel San Fermin in 2025 and returned again this year for a short 3 night stay. Knowing how noisy the hotel can be with late night guests, I emailed in advance requesting a room away from the lifts/stairs. Upon check in it was apparent that my request was ignored and was in fact allocated a room directly across from the lift. I went back to reception to ask to be moved to a quieter room further along the corridor. Believe it or not but there was also another guest at reception asking the very same thing as the rooms beside the lift are noisy. I was met with some hostility at first and was given the usual "subject to availability" response. Eventually I was allocated a room away from the lifts. Checked into our room...the floor was absolutely filthy and had not been swept or mopped. My feet were filthy within 5 minutes. Day 2 .... returned to my room to find the room had been "cleaned". Cleaning consisted of the bin being emptied. The bed was still unmade, dirty towels still in the shower not having been replaced, floors dirty, bathroom sink/shower/toilet not cleaned. The cleaner genuinely walked into the room, emptied the bin and ignored everything else. Clearly failing in her duties with an extremely lazy outlook. I complained to reception who telephoned the cleaner asking her to return to the room. She returned 5 minutes later with a blank expression on her face as if she didnt realise what the problem was. She then made the bed and changed the towels however nothing else was cleaned. Day 3..... again the cleaner (a different cleaner this time so no excuses from the previous day) made the bed and left 1 towel (there are 2 guests). Again no floors cleaned, no sink/shower/toilet cleaned. Another trip to reception to request the missing towel. There is absolutely no excuse for consistently poorly housekeeping. The floor and bathroom wasn't cleaned during my 3 day stay and was not clean on arrival. For that reason I will not return. Its ashame as the reception staff, bar staff, restaurant staff are all lovely. Please sort out the housekeeping issues. Guests deserve a clean room.

Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, nice grounds, variety of mediteranean cuisine. Vegetarian options are not as nice as meat ones, but I was still fine. Amazing, attentive to detail masseur, that makes ypu feel comfortable, enjoy the massage and want to return. We had the best massages ever - strongly recommend.

First time having a holiday in a hotel for 15 years. Restaurant was clean, well organised and offered a variety of meals. Pool was great with plenty of sun beds. Staff have been very attentive and helpful. One issue was some of the people staying here, but you can't blame that on the hotel. Only issue with the hotel is the quality and speed of the wifi which is poor.

Can’t fault our stay at San Fermin - the breakfast and dinner buffets were great, pool area had a lovely chilled/relaxed vibe and there were plenty of sunbeds. Great location, 5 min walk from the beach or 15 min walk to main town strip with train station - Malaga just a 25 min train away. We had a room in B block which has a lovely view of the mountain ⛰️ Would stay again, and would recommend the half board package which felt like great value 🤝🏼

Just returned from a short break, this is a 3 star hotel so I would describe as budget. The room was clean and walk in shower was probably the best shower I have had in a hotel. My room had air conditioning, English channels on the TV, hairdryer, kettle, fridge and I paid a little extra for a pool view which was great. The hotel is on a hill but I had no issues with the hill despite being 60+, overall in a great location. The pool area, which had a bar that served food was lovely, always had sun loungers free and the lifeguard will provide you with towels for use outside. Overall great value and I would highly recommend, the only issue I had was some inconsiderate guests that were singing and playing music at 2am, but the security guys asked them to be quiet so that did not last long.
