I had an amazing stay at Jumeira Rotana Dubai, in a penthouse-style suite on the top floor with a breathtaking view of the Burj Khalifa — pure magic both day and night! The suite was spacious, elegant, and truly felt like a private escape above the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience — every evening featured a different international cuisine, with each day of the week dedicated to flavors from a new corner of the world. It was like taking a culinary journey without ever leaving the hotel. Between the incredible view, the comfort of the suite, and the variety of delicious dinners, this stay was unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a touch of luxury and global taste in the heart of Dubai.

From the moment I checked in, Dawda at the front desk made me feel instantly welcome with his professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail set the tone for a wonderful stay, I was too tired and exhausted after work so he even helped me to get an early check in which gave me such a relief. The room itself exceeded my expectations, it was above average in size, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind comfortably. The quality of the linen and towels was outstandingly soft, fresh, and of premium quality, adding that extra touch of luxury. Housekeeping maintained the room impeccably throughout my stay, and every request was handled swiftly and with a smile. This is the kind of service that makes you feel genuinely cared for as a guest. Big thanks to Dawda and the entire team for making my visit not just comfortable, but memorable.

We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning our return.

We are in the flow kitchen most nights. The food is amazing and have just returned from an 80s themed evening. It was great the staff were dressed up and the restaurant was to with 80s music in the background. Even had 80s type cocktails on offer to. The food is always fresh and very tasty hence our return most nights. More themed evenings like this would be great. This hotel is just amazing. My third time here the only down fall in no all inclusive which is a shame. Rooms are very spacious and clean and all staff work very hard. I have always had a great experience when visiting from check in to check out. I thank you again for all that you do.

Fairmont hotel has exceeded our expectations! It truly brings together the Arabian unique culture and vibes. The atmosphere in the hotel is one of warmth and family friendliness. Food is very good of many varieties and is tasty. Room service is really professional as well as general staff. We had an incident dent that required support and the hotel staff went over and above our expectations and gave us a lot of support. We even met some management staff during our stay and they were very polite and friendly. A lot of my family members have been here and this hotel was highly recommended s as bf I can see why now

City facing view on third floor with ‘Lounge/club’ access on level 9. Overall, an enjoyable stay, but unlikely to return. Staff were very friendly and welcoming especially in the lounge during the evening drinks service. However, service in the lounge during the day was not as good. I have pointed this out to their staff who were most apologetic and appreciative of the feedback. In comparison to The Ritz Carlton (Dubai Marina), the Fairmont falls short. The Lounge/club level felt several notches higher at the Ritz Carlton (similar price band). Room cleaning was also much better at the Ritz Carlton. Where Fairmont stood out was the food. The quality was excellent in all restaurants especially the ‘Flow Kitchen’- buffet. In this area, Fairmont was definitely better.

Fairmont the palm has exceeded expectations! The attractions are all close by and we just took a taxi for comfort and time saving and cost are surprisingly acceptable! Cleanliness was always impeccable and spaces (room, bathroom and balcony) has been generous, homey and very very comfortable. The view was inspiring and unexpectedly quiet and peaceful. Facilities was complete, very convenient and clean. The beach and pool unmissable. Food was always great with absolutely fantastic variance everyday. Never boring and always tasty. Lastly, the service was never less than great and staff were very hospitable, warm and helpful! I would like to specially mention Ms. Tith (from flow kitchen) for being so attentive and welcoming always and Mr. Maridurai (from cleaning team) for being so friendly and helpful and the lady from reception who arranged our meal thoughtfully at almost 3am, 10th July. We had been in a lot of holidays in many cities but Fairmont the palm has surely impressed us massively. Me, my boy and wife are grateful and thankful to have chosen this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel — it’s truly one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever visited, with exceptional service throughout. A special mention goes to Ramon at the reception desk, who was incredibly professional, welcoming, and helpful. He truly made the check-in experience smooth and pleasant. While everything else was up to five-star standards, I would suggest improving the variety of the food selection to better reflect the luxury level of the hotel. Overall, a fantastic experience and I look forward to returning and i advice anybody would like to go to a great hotel, to go to the habtoor hotel if they want to have a great time. Very nice hotel, good for families. Kids have pool with small slides. One of the bars is even located in the water :) Food is good. Coffee could be better, however. Rooms clean and spacious. We had a small issue as we booked a room for 3+2 and in the room we only found 3 beds. Staff however tried to help and organized extra bed.

Another fantastic holiday at this amazing hotel, we once again booked into the Clubroom and the team, Matti, Ahmed & Melanie were just fantastic looking after me and my family. On this occasion they moved the breakfast down to the main buffet restaurant, this is fully understandable due to it being off season. The Clubroom guests are seated within a VIP section if the main restaurant and looked after with the Clubroom team ( mentioned above ) Guest are still invited for afternoon tea from 3-5pm and happy hour drinks from 6-8pm in the Clubroom. The hotel main pool area has some construction in the gardens at the side of the pool, however, Dubai has construction works going on 365 days of the year. There are some noises that can be heard, however nothing to be concerned about. The rooms are well serviced with the maids, they cannot do enough to ensure your rooms are clean, tidy and well stocked with towels and water. We have also met Kaleem ( porter ) on several occasions whilst visiting this hotel, his attention to detail ( remembering me and my family’s name from previous visits ) his politeness welcoming me and my family back are what makes this team the best in Dubai. The guest relations team made our visit extra special as this was to celebrate specials birthdays writhing our family, the rooms were decorated with birthday cards in each room, this was a fantastic gesture and great surprise to my family, thanks to Raneem and Maya who looked after us. We will look forward to returning later in the year.

Avoid staying in this resort. 1. Can’t walk to JBR specifically with kids. 2. I have attached a photo which will state the case. 3. Restaurant is smells bad to the point that your clothes will get the smell, food is limited and taste bad. Always fully packed. 4. Hotel is too old and falling apart, broken sink, broken water spray and old coffee machine.

The hotel is alright, I just think for the money you can get a lot better elsewhere in Dubai and on the palm. I was told one of the pools is ‘adults only’ which is the pool with the waterfall, I went and this pool was full of kids. I spoke to reception and they said ‘oh well we can’t stop parents taking their kids in there’. This was a real shame for us, they have 3 pools and if they had properly made one of them adults only then it would truly level up the quality of this hotel. I had paid for a luxury seaview room and when I check in I was told my room has been upgraded which was exciting… the “upgraded” room we got was on the first floor, with a view of some pathways leading to the main pool with a very basic room. I did complain the next day and got moved to a sea view room but disappointing that my first night I spent in a downgraded room which was sold to me as an upgrade. The spa was lovely although I would suggest that they should offer a little discount to half board guests just to show their appreciation to the guests who have paid that little bit more. I was told to change my shoes as they did not adhere to the restaurant’s dress code which was fine and understandable. Once I changed them and went into the restaurant I was disappointed to see how other people were sat there not adhering to the dress code… but only I was pulled up on it. Our recent stay at Sofitel was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was luxurious and welcoming. The service was exceptional — every staff member was attentive, courteous, and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. The hotel’s standard was truly world-class. Spa is great. Therapists are great, especially Gertrude, super professional and caring. The best one there. But the spa pool experience isn’t great, there is no proper service, no one is there to assist, is very messy, no one refreshes the area after guests leave…. Inside the spa there is a lot of noise coming from other guests by the relaxation area and indoor pools, supposedly we are there to relax but people are there to socialize with friends and it’s very noisy. The staff doesn’t do anything about it.

We had such a great time at The Sofitel Dubai The Palm. We stayed in a Junior Suite with a sea view which was a beautifully decorated room, and the shower and freestanding tub were amazing. The food at the restaurants was always delicious, and the service was spot on. One thing to note though- we didn’t realise that the half board package didn’t include any drinks at all, so just something to be aware of. In terms of location, anything on the palm is a little out of the way from general tourist hot spots but Ubers and local taxi services were always at hand and cheap. Our stay here was genuinely special, and the staff made it even better. A few shoutouts: Jowali at the front door was always cheerful and saved us from the sweltering Dubai heat with his buggy rides. Ramzain, who looked after our room, was super friendly and always so considerate with timing. Shahzad at Manava restaurant was a fantastic waiter and really friendly and attentive. All in all, I’d definitely go back again :)

The most perfect stay. Stayed here for 10 nights with my partner and we loved it. All staff are so friendly and helpful always going out their way to engage in a conversation with you. The staff could not do enough for you, they were very attentive especially the staff around the pool. The hotel was extremely clean and the maids would be in cleaning your room everyday to a top standard. The hotel gives you free complimentary bottles of water in your room everyday which I found this to be such a lovely gesture. We come back to our room one day with a lovely surprise left in the room by the staff, it was a photo of us which was edible with some cake. This really made our holiday was so kind by the staff involved. The hotel itself is very modern and beautiful and the facilities are great. The views from the pool area are amazing with the pool itself being a standout facility for me it's so big and the temperature of the pool is perfect for cooling down in the hot weather. We loved the lazy river as well. The breakfast in the hotel is fantastic which such a wide variety of foods catered for everyone. Me and my partner are already planning a visit back here we loved it that much.

We were so pleased to experience the Hospitality provided by Edna, Priya and Aung during our evening meals in the Great British Restaurant. They were polite, professional and knowledgeable - able to answer our queries and signpost us accordingly - even providing us with recommendations on less busy times to have our meals. We were made to feel welcomed every morning and evening and when appropriate, each of these individuals took a few moments to converse with us, making us feel we were more than just a 'guest statistic'. We would also like to extend thanks to Mandeep who serviced our room to an impeccable standard throughout our stay. We have truly enjoyed the remainder of our stay at the hotel and will have fond memories of the kind smiles and efficient, professional service delivered by Azim and Simon (Security) as well as the very kind bespectacled young man whose name we unfortunately failed to record - we shall add a picture to identify him. Also Aye and mohammed (Concierge) Masud and the entire front of house security team. Each individual took the time to offer us help and support whenever needed and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed back every time we returned from an excursion / outing - showing genuine interest in how we were enjoying our time in the city. The security and facilities managers should be proud of themselves for running such a tight ship. Dukes the Palm will certainly be our port of call should we visit Dubai again in the future. The receptionists were helpful, we never had any problems during our stay and even if we did it was resolved immediately. Akyb, one of the housekeepers, he made sure that our rooms were cleaned daily and he had a great customer service. The breakfast was absolutely amazing but if you are very particular about bacon then their breakfast may not be for you. This hotel is in the central part of the city so you can travel to many landmarks and it won’t take more than half an hour. There’s a lovely beach, a breathtaking view and a nice indoor swimming pool to enjoy with family and friends. I definitely recommend.

Extremely Disappointing First Impression – No Support for Families with Young Children We arrived at JA Ocean View Hotel late at night after a delayed flight – a late arrival that I had clearly communicated via email and multiple confirmations days in advance. I was traveling with two small children, and yet no early check-in, temporary room, or gesture of goodwill was offered. Frankly, this was deeply disappointing and felt disrespectful towards us as a family. In a hotel of this size and standard, I simply cannot believe that not a single room or even a resting area could be made available for a family with exhausted toddlers in the middle of the night. After many back-and-forth discussions and no solution, we were forced to spend 6 long hours in the hotel lobby, trying to comfort our completely overtired children. This experience was not only physically exhausting but also mentally frustrating. We truly expected more understanding, empathy, and basic human kindness from a hotel of this class. Just offering us a room – even temporarily – would have cost the hotel nothing, but it would have gained loyal, returning customers. Instead, we were left feeling unwelcome and unsupported. The hotel is located right by Dubai Marina and close to Jumeirah Beach, which is certainly a great spot – but even the best location can’t make up for such a disappointing level of service and guest care. We will not return to this hotel – and we do not recommend JA Ocean View Hotel, especially not to families. Truly a missed opportunity. What a shame.

Me and my family just spent 10 nights at JA ocean view hotel. It was a truly good experience. The hotel is very central with good views. The young man who Omar on floor 23 who cleaned our rooms did an amazing job. The cleaning was top notch. The pool area is small and finding sun-beds is a bit difficult, but a big thanks to Daniel who always found us one with a smile on his face. A big thanks to Hashim who always made sure we had a great stay. We also booked the desert safari through the hotel and the young mam there made sure we got the best experience. A truly memorable holiday. Thank you to all staff as well.

We had the most fabulous time at the JA Ocean View Hotel Jumeriah especially the Coral Lounge Access. All but one evening of our 14 night stay we were served by the very delightful Rainbow who was so helpful, happy and a delight to make our evenings very special, thank you. More people should experience the delights of the Coral lounge. The location was wonderful, the rooms lovely, spacious and so very clean. The pool area a little too small for the size of the hotel, not enough sunbeds was the issue but I have to say that the guys around the pool area were very helpful and kept a check on the guests 'reserving ' sun loungers so we were never waiting too long. All in all the team were amazing, thank you 😊

We were very impressed with this hotel, especially the service. All staff were very caring and always available for requests. From check in until we left, we felt very well taken care off. Even when we had extremely loud people in the room next to us that kept us up all night before leaving for an early flight, which was not even the hotels fault, staff organised our car to take us to the airport for free. The pool is amazing and bar staff lovely as well (thanks Abishek, great work). Prices are not cheap but it’s worth it. Beach is a short walk away with towel service and life guards and free water, which is very nice. Location is right next to JBR walk, so excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel

This hotel is one of the best in dubai with a sea front. The view and garden area a stunning. Service is brilliant rooms needed a little upgrade. Get a sea view room with a lovely view in the morning. If searching I would certainly recommend this hotel

We stayed at Le Royal Meridien and had a really good experience overall. The hotel has huge grounds, which is great for parents with kids — lots of space, greenery, and plenty of room to enjoy without feeling cramped. The service from the staff was excellent, super attentive and always ready to help. Special mention to the fact that they were very generous with still water, which is often a small but annoying issue in other 5-star hotels — here, we never had to ask twice and were always well stocked. The resort has three big swimming pools, so whether you want a lively atmosphere or a quieter spot, you’ll find your place. It’s definitely a family-friendly hotel, but there are still calm areas for those who just want to relax. One thing we didn’t love was the so-called sea view room in the new tower. The view turned out to be more of the harbour, buildings, and some construction — not exactly the sea view we expected. On the positive side, the room itself was lovely, modern, and very comfortable, and when we mentioned the view, the staff kindly gave us a free upgrade, which we really appreciated. Breakfasts were great, with a wide variety, and there are plenty of restaurants on-site for those who don’t want to leave the resort. Overall, it’s a very comfortable and well-run hotel, perfect for families or anyone looking for a relaxed getaway with great service.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful stay at Atlantis The Palm. The service from the moment you walk in is warm and friendly, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. My children absolutely loved the waterpark and pools – such a highlight of the resort and perfect for families. There is a water fountain available for refills, but in my opinion it’s not quite the same as having water bottles handed out during the hot summer season when it gets so busy. Big credit to the cleaning team, who went above and beyond – making little animals on the beds for my children after cleaning. They were so excited to see this thoughtful touch, and it really made our stay feel special. That said, I do feel the rooms are quite outdated for a 5-star property. Having stayed at the sister hotel, The Royal, the difference is noticeable and I expected a bit more in terms of room design and finish. We also looked into the dolphin experience, but decided against it in the end as it felt a little pricey compared to everything else on offer. Overall though, it’s a lovely hotel with fantastic facilities, family-friendly fun, and staff who genuinely make the effort. We really enjoyed our experience and would happily return.

Very impressive services, specious room and facilities are well maintained. You cannot find any "black" lines around the washing basin in the toilet. It is not a brand new hotel and you can tell how good the maintenance is. Staff are nice to offer help at any time. I put down my glasses in the room (without case) during day time. When back at night, I found that there was a complimentary cloth beside it. Highly appreciated for the efforts of room cleaning staff of the hotel.

I visited their aqua adventure theme park so I cannot comment on the rooms. But the service is great not excellent. I found with the crowd it had everyday the service might be improved. Also, the drinking water is available at few places rest in shops it's paid. I feel they should have drinking water available at every 1km radius so that it becomes easier for old people to go and drink by themselves even if their known people are having fun at aqua-adventure. Location of the hotel is superb and what can I say more then this? Maybe excellent!!. Overall experience is worth it and I would definitely recommend this adventure park a worth to visit. Charges for the same I'm not sure but the timing if I'm correct is 11AM-6:30 PM.

The most amazing resort for adults and kids. The facilities are excellent. So many restaurants (all very expensive though), so so clean and wonderful rooms. The staff are great. The waterpark is incredible and if you stay at the resort, you can get in half an hour earlier than general public access.

Everything here seems so perfect, I like it here very much. Room is very nice with ocean view, services during breakfast and dinner were the best I ever see. Its the best vacation I ever had. Food was perfect too - everyday different theme of dinner, better than everyday having same food. Definitely 10/10.

I had high hopes of giving Sofitel a five-star review, as our experience was nearly flawless. The location was fantastic, the food exceptional, and the staff truly excellent. My partner and I visited Dubai to celebrate my birthday, and we were impressed by our room and the stunning views from the balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed the infinity pool, the buffet, and the convenience of nearby stores within walking distance—all of which contributed to a wonderful stay. However, we did encounter a challenge with the air conditioning in our room. Despite our request for assistance and the staff’s prompt response, the room didn't cool down as expected, even with the thermostat set to the lowest setting. Given the high temperatures we experienced during our vacation, a more effective air conditioning unit would have significantly enhanced our comfort. Overall, we had a fantastic time, and I would have loved to award a perfect rating if not for the air conditioning issue. Thank you for a memorable stay!

The atmosphere at the hotel is very relaxed, making it the perfect place to unwind. The staff are extremely attentive, friendly, and courteous – they truly make you feel welcome. Room service is excellent and always reliable. One of the highlights of the hotel is definitely the themed restaurants, which are very well designed and highly recommended. At the beach, there are always enough sunbeds available, including umbrellas, so finding a spot is never a problem. However, at the pool it is quite difficult to get a sunbed after 8 a.m., especially near the Oasis and Coral Bar. Many sunbeds are reserved with towels and personal belongings, but often remain unused throughout the day, which can be frustrating. Another small downside is that there is no drink service at the beach – guests have to fetch drinks themselves from the pool bars. On the positive side, there is live music in the afternoons at the Oasis Bar, which creates a very pleasant atmosphere. The lifeguards also do a great job; they are very attentive and take their responsibility seriously. Overall, this hotel offers a wonderful stay with excellent service, great dining experiences, and a relaxing environment. With just a few improvements around the pool area and beach service, it could be even more perfect.

Great hotel food was exceptional in all restaurants and the main buffet. Rooms were also very good. Air conditioning was very good and it needed to be at 43c in the day and 39c at night. Hotel was quite isolated on Dera island but I guess in a couple of years they will have built up this area. Only issue for us was no adult pool or quiet area for adults only. Not nice having a ball splash you when you’re having a drink at the pool bars. The sea was like a hot bath during the day and lots of jellyfish were about. Pool water was cooled and refreshing in the heat

Our family’s experience in Riu was amazing. The place is big but not too big, has all the amenities you can think of, the buffet in the main restaurant was always exquisite, and the staff are super friendly. They go the extra mile when it comes to hygiene too. The kids loved the slides and the pools; even their snack bars and drinks were all loved by my children. I highly recommend this place for a lovely short staycation PS: don’t miss bingo night!

Perfect place to spend quality time relaxing. The rooms are spacious, super comfortable, cleaned daily, and with amazing views. The restaurants are unbelievably good and the food quality is superb! The pool options are good and the bars are nearby and with great and fast service. The staff overall is very friendly and attentive. For the aviation geeks: be ready to see many planes flying over you every day. For the non geeks: you may find some periods of the day to be too noisy given the proximity to the airport. Overall, deserves 5 stars. One thing that could be implemented to increase guests comfort is bar service delivery on the beach.

Not Recommended – Very Disappointing Stay We booked connected rooms with all-inclusive including snacks, but no proper snacks were available for kids – only near the gym! Staff were unfriendly and rushed to clear food 15 minutes before closing. They forgot our late check-out request even after signing papers. Pools were dirty with hair and sand. No separation between adults and kids – people drinking alcohol everywhere with no respect for Muslim families. The pool snack bar had only ice cream and soft drinks, everything else was alcohol. Staff treated European guests better. We couldn’t get any service around the pool even when we offered to pay extra. Dirty towels, sunbeds, and glasses were everywhere. My kids were even removed from the pool unfairly. Very bad experience. I will not return and don’t recommend this hotel. Staff need serious hospitality training.

The breakfast here is honestly amazing! Everything is fresh, tasty, and there’s such a good variety to choose from. You can go light with fruit and yogurt or really treat yourself with eggs, pastries, and hot dishes. Definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. But what makes it extra special is the staff. Irene, who leads the breakfast team, is absolutely wonderful. She’s so kind and caring she even remembered our names and asked about our day each morning, which made us feel right at home. It’s little touches like that that really make a big difference. Highly recommend starting your morning here, you’ll leave full and smiling!

Great hotel and location.we went all inclusive and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was really amazing and a good variety. As part of the all inclusive you could use the soul restaurant and we did 3 times in the week. Big shout out to the soul staff who are great and very attentive with drink refills. On the last night (tonight) they noticed I did not feel well and couldn’t do enough to help. Lovely lightning and atmosphere and we had a great time there. The pool is great and the 2 lifeguards are lovely and got us towels and sunbeds and put up sunshades and moved them to accommodate us. They also rushed to open the doors for us. Rooms are cleaned well daily and are nice and spacious. We had a balcony and the air con worked well. The people who greet you for the breakfast and buffets were always happy and friendly and asked if they could do anything further to help with the stay. All in all a lovely hotel and amazing staff.

I stayed at this hotel for over a month, and overall, it was a very good experience. The location is excellent, and the hotel has everything one needs for a comfortable stay — a good room, great facilities, and even better service. Since I stayed for so long, the hotel began to feel like home, and the staff became more than just employees — they became like family. I want to mention a few of them by name. Breakfast was always enjoyable, but the hosts made it even better — special thanks to Robin and Irene, who always greeted me warmly and found me a good table. I used the gym daily and occasionally visited the spa for a massage — Ayu was excellent. I also spent a lot of time by the pool, which was always clean and refreshing despite the +40°C temperatures. Murgan and Suresh made sure I had the best sunbed every time — their attention was truly appreciated. The concierge service was spot on. I needed help with printing documents, and Leica and Muhammad Yahya helped immediately without hesitation. The reception team was also always helpful and welcoming. During my stay, I celebrated my birthday, and I was surprised with a cake and a card from the hotel — a kind gesture from Isabella that made my day extra special. My room was always spotless, thanks to Sujith, Sunic, Jefrin, Darsie, and the rest of the housekeeping team. The Sports Bar was also a great spot for quick bites and soft drinks — special thanks to Primerose, who was always friendly and attentive with guests. I’m really sad I didn’t catch all the staff names, because every single one of them deserves recognition — and probably a raise! Can’t wait to come back!

I recently stayed at Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach with my family and had an overall excellent experience. The location is superb—right on The Walk and close to a wide variety of restaurants and cafés. The staff were consistently helpful and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. That said, I believe there are a few areas where enhancements could elevate the guest experience further, particularly considering the hotel's 5-star rating and premium location: In-room coffee amenities – Replacing the standard coffee and tea sachets with a pod-based coffee machine would add a more premium touch to the in-room offerings. TV channel selection – The television in the room only offered local stations. Including satellite channels such as OSN or international options would improve entertainment choices for guests. Room setup on arrival – Upon check-in, there were no glasses in the room—only two mugs. I assume this was an oversight, but having a full set of glassware would be expected. Breakfast variety – While the breakfast buffet was enjoyable, guests staying longer than a few days might appreciate greater variety. Introducing new dishes every couple of days would keep the experience fresh and appealing. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and with a few small improvements, the experience could be truly exceptional.

Great location, great staff and service. Mirza was great and waited for a taxi with me and didn’t let me go until the taxi was here. Irene at the restaurant and also our room service guy/and another guy who always cleaned the lifts, it’s a shame because I forgot their names but they were absolute gentleman! Great place overall.
