5 Star Costa Del Sol Holidays

The MM

We stayed for 4 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is chic and contemporary, it has a infinity pool with probably the best views of the area. It also hosts a Michelin Star Restaurant, during our stay we tried it and it was great. It get busy at night. Rooms were theme with the ME treatment, it had everything you might need, closet space is ok, shower was excellent with high pressure and hot water. Sadly our room was not in the quietest area as we're light sleepers. Service was outstanding, from the staff at the entrance, the reception desk and anyone you would encounter, they always smile, asked how were you doing and very helpful and respectful. Pilar was excellent, also the lady that allowed us to store our luggage for a few days, thank you to all of the staff, you made our stay more enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay at ME Málaga by Meliá. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our visit. A special mention to David from the front-of-house team, who made our stay memorable with his warm welcome, help with our bags and parking, and thoughtful attention throughout. The hotel is stylish and modern, with a stunning rooftop pool offering great views across Málaga. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, though slightly better lighting would be a small improvement. The location is excellent, with Málaga’s Old Town just a short walk away.

The hotel was one of the best experience in malaga. They welcome you kindly lead you to an amazing clean room, the bed and pillows are very comfortable. You get lots of necessities hair dryer, steamer and a bath robe which is really nice. The staff are very friendly they greet you and help you anytime possible. The 24 hour rooms service is really nice aswell. The restaurant is really neat nice food and good drinks that they have, and the breakfast buffet was absolute must you get alot of options. My overall experience was amazing with this hotel Totally recommend it and will come back.

Elie El Rawadi

I had an exceptional stay at ME by Meliá Málaga. From the moment I arrived, everything felt luxurious and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with the latest technology, making the entire stay both comfortable and effortless. Every detail reflects a high standard of quality and sophistication. One of the standout features is the signature scent throughout the hotel. The fragrance in both the lobby and the rooms is absolutely amazing and creates a memorable, premium atmosphere from the moment you walk in. If you’re looking for a modern luxury hotel in Málaga with outstanding design, comfort, and attention to detail, I highly recommend ME by Meliá Málaga. I would definitely stay here again.

sabine maatouk

Loved everything about this hotel, the architecture, the service , the care. From A to Z it was an amazing experience. The rooftop is great, they have a gym if you don’t want to skip your routine. You can walk everywhere. Most importantly the attention to detail and helping the clients is just wow. Would definitely come back

Grėta Grakauskaitė

Great hotel with an excellent location, an easy walk along the sea to Puerto Banús. The rooms are clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a sea view room for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Although the hotel was built about 20 years ago, it still has a relaxed, vacation vibe.

Darren Ferrett

Excellent hotel in great location overlooking the sea and right next to the beach. I had a great experience - food and service all good. I would thoroughly recommend. I stayed out of season and got a great rate on a junior suite. I would thoroughly recommend Gran Hotel Guadalpin Banus in Marbella.

Melissa Petrilla

Beware- if this hotel is not bankrupt in 3 to 5 years, it will be a miracle. Google bankruptcy and this hotel. The rooms are very dilapidated. Smoke alarms are removed. Fixtures are falling off. Paint is peeling, leaks visible in the ceiling. Refrigerator, dishwashers and other items in the kitchen do not work properly. Stained towels, no coffee makers in the room, the list is very long for the things that are very wrong in this hotel. In it’s current condition it is a 3 star hotel.

Katherine Minson

Questionable 5 star, switches in the rooms didnt work and feel like they are coming off the wall. One night we couldn’t turn off a light. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and hairdryer only worked on the lowest setting. We were told there was only one restaurant for breakfast this could not cope with the volume of guests. Staff were friendly and helpful but still not 5 star by a long shot. We also came as an easyjet package that would not drop off or pick up outside the hotel but didn’t feel the need to let us know this. Check with your operator before booking.

Rayda Sinni

I had a lovely experience at the Guadalupe Hotel. The location is fantastic, steps away from great restaurants, boutiques, and the beach. The hotel has a charming vibe with tasteful decor and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, always available to assist with local tips. My room was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

Eshan Hasaru Bandara

What an amazing dining experience At Attitude Resturant..The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was outstanding. A special shout-out to our waiter, Isabela, who made our visit truly memorable. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her warm attitude and excellent customer service made us feel genuinely welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant attitude to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!

stuvee

The staff was the friendliest i have ever had on a hotel. You have to travel a short distance to get to a nice beach, but thats not really a problem as you can rent a bike. Clean pool area and elegant hotel all over.

Mariana Mossberg Dovali

Everyone is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. It’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Marbella. The rooms are spacious, comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from. The pet-friendly areas are quite small, so there’s limited space for dogs to move around. There is a small charge for the pet.

If i can give -100/5 i would- more like a vacation from hell! It was an absolute nightmare from the first hour! I arrived in the evening around 6 pm and ordered a burger from room service as soon as we got to the room- the burger had LIVE ANTS CRAWLING 🐜 ALL OVER IT! When i called about the burger that i already paid before they replaced it but at that point i knew not to order from room service again! First night they cleaned our room as normal when we were out- 2nd they forgot to and gaslit us into believing we forgot the dnd sign on the door- 3rd night they didn’t clean and told me it was because we had too much luggage around the room (which btw was exactly the same way it was the first night) then the 4th day we had a medical emergency with my friend and we ended up calling a doctor to come so while i was waiting they kept asking to clean the room to which we said later please- then after a discussion that shouldnt have been a discussion in the first place- the manager on top of all the front desk employees decided to gaslight us further about the whole dnd sign again! So i just said u know what sure im wrong ur right (at this point i was done with their behaviour and just wanted to make sure they cleaned the room that day!) they told us to check in with front desk every morning to make sure the room is cleaned! So after the doctor comes and goes and we decide to leave rhe hotel for a bit- i stopped by the front desk to let them know as requested- and specifically said “clean the room please AND make sure the sheets are changed because we had a doctor come and dont want any hospital germs” and the hotel should also know this because they gave me the doctors number! We come back that night and see THEY ONLY CHANGED THE SHEETS AND NOTHING ELSE! They didnt even throw the trash or wipe the floors! i was so frustrated at this point 4 nights and no service when i obviously have asked more than once for this basic service that should be included with the price!! So after calling the front desk that night and getting further gaslit and agreeing that were the liars somehow, (btw we asked them a million times to come to our room to see for themselves the majority would deny any fault without seeing the proof) they told us that someone told housekeeping to only change the sheets because of hospital germs. Please make that make sense! They then proceeded to send hosekeeping at 2 am to our who btw swept the floors easily with no complaints and all smiles tbh but their coworkers make it sound like its such a hassle for them and that i should decide between having my sheets changed everyday and or the floors cleaned? Btw this is supposed to be 5 stars? Ive stayed in 3 star hotels with better service that this! They treat the guest as if their all idiots and they mutter in their language whenever your request anything not counting the number of times they would hang up on our face because they cant be bothered or dont want to admit fault! The last straw was the 6th night where we called to ask for complimentary water (which they provided before with no complaints) but for some reason the lady working was not in the mood i guess? Kept telling us that theres water in the room (their usual gaslighting technique) and then got mad when we tried to tell her to come check the room then hung up the phone. A couple of minutes later she shows up with a bottle and throws it our way- when we asked her if it was her on the phone earlier she said shut up 🤫 literally like this!! We slammed the door on her and then she kept insulting us in spanish through the door! When we said shut up back she said more Spanish stuff and then threatened to call the police! Ive heard about anti-tourism in spain but you would think employees at a HOTEL would at least treat the guest with basic dignity!

Sam Da-Man Cohen

Relaxed stylish hotel in great location. Jamal the concierge was fabulous! Him and the rest of the staff provided great service. The pool area was amazing. It felt like good value and would definitely stay again.

Kasra Keshmiri

Unfriendly, rude, and unhelpful front staff. Service without a smile and often ignored. Poor maintenance around the pool and external facilities. Back of house staff very friendly! The rooms where okay, needs paint refurbishment, the smart TV was working in either of our rooms, and terrible WIFI. Furniture require re-upholstery, there were tears in the upholstery in our room. We found we had to pull out our sofa bed each day ourselves. Showers very good and powerful. The food was fine, sport facilities very good, though most showers were dated and often you will find soap dispensers broken. Room service was quick and efficient. It did cost 10 Euros to get some milk for our babies bottle, we thought that was a little excessive. Parking, often get stuck behind the barriers, it will cost 1 euro an hour for non Hilton Gold Members, and if you drive to collect family from the lobby, ensure you dont get stuck behind the hotels shuttle cars as you will be stuck there until the driver comes back out. Overall, an okay place for a short stay, but wouldn't stay there again due to the lack of staff professionalism.

Solveig Henriksen

Excellent rooms and facilities at the hotel. The breakfast stadd were very serviceminded and brought my coffee just the way I like it. It is a steep walk down to the beach, but a nice walk still especially if you walk via the park. The roof top terasse is lovely to have a drink. They had live music during dinner at the pool. It was a really nice experience for us and the children. The pool opens at 11 am every day.

Richard Alborough

A fantastic five-star hotel that exceeded our expectations. The sports facilities are outstanding, the gym is excellent, the tennis courts are superb, and the swimming pools are immaculate. The breakfast was also one of the best we've had, with a great choice and excellent quality. What really made our stay special, though, was the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was genuinely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The reception team, in particular, couldn't do enough for us and always greeted us with a smile. A huge thank you to everyone at the hotel, especially the front desk team, for making our stay so memorable. You played a big part in making it a wonderful holiday for my wife and me. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

clara goelen

Robert was amazing throughout our stay. He is incredibly kind, attentive, and always has a smile on his face. He made us feel very welcome from the start. He gave us great recommendations for places to visit and was always happy to help. His English is excellent, which made communication very easy. Thank you, Robert, for your kindness and professionalism. You really made our stay even more enjoyable!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were always warm, welcoming, and professional, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The location was convenient, and all the facilities were excellent. Every member of the team went above and beyond to provide outstanding service with genuine kindness and attention to detail. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

John Kellighan

We came for a quiet break on my birthday week. The hotel were smashing and I got a great welcome from Hassan and Noel even though we arrived after midnight. The rest of the staff particularly Victoria in housekeeping were very helpful indeed when my wife was ill (nothing to do with the hotel). The bar staff were a bit slow at times but maybe that was due to high demand and careful preparation of very nice cocktails. Food was at the high end for a buffet. Rooms and beds were great with the spacious bathroom facilities one of our favourite things. We'll deffo return. Just remember you have to travel by car, bus or taxi to Estepona. I'd recommend one of the later two, cos town centre parking is a bit of a problem during current construction works.

★★★☆☆ Overall, we had a decent stay at Elba Estepona Gran Hotel & Thalasso Spa. However, in my opinion, it does not really meet the standards of a true 5-star hotel, so it’s better to keep expectations moderate as the service standards may be different here. The best part of the experience was definitely the staff and service team — everyone was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The sea view is beautiful, and the breakfast was good, although the variety was quite limited. Many of the facilities feel outdated, even though the hotel still has a unique charm and character. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I expected more from a hotel with a 5-star rating.

gabriela ionescu

Only been to the SPA,restaurant and spent the day by the pool really. Liked the location though, SPA facilities were nice, multiple jacuzzies and sauna rooms dry/wet hamam, esential oils. The restaurant had a wide range of options - buffe style. Pool was large enaugh and quite enjoyable.

David Raeburn

We had a wonderful stay at elba Estepona. I cannot think of anything negative about our stay. Staff were so pleasant, room was so comfortable and clean. Food was fantastic. A friendly and relaxed ambience all around. Can't wait to go back. A really lovely experience. Dave

Charles Cooper

Super place. On the beach. Lovely food, great amenities, including the pool areas, staff are excellent. Not a lot around outside the hotel complex which is very large. Estepona is nearly 3 miles away walking about 40/45minutes along the boardwalk and path by the sea or 12 minutes by bus which you catch outside the hotel but they are alittle intermittent. Taxi is an option for a price. Overall a lovely place to stay for a relaxing holiday. 👍

Here’s my honest review of METT Marbella. Overall, I had a good stay. One of the biggest highlights is definitely the location right on the beach. The views are beautiful, and the atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing. The food at the hotel was good. There are two restaurants: AMMOS, which serves Mediterranean cuisine, and Isola, the Italian restaurant. There’s also Lola’s Bar, where you can grab snacks and drinks during the day. The cocktails were great as well. The biggest downside was the service. It was extremely slow throughout our stay. We were often left waiting much longer than expected, and when we mentioned it, some of the staff didn’t seem very receptive. Considering the level of hotel, I think this is an area that definitely needs improvement. As for the rooms, they were perfectly fine. They’re not the most luxurious rooms I’ve ever stayed in, but they’re comfortable and have everything you need. There were a few maintenance issues in our room—the shower drain didn’t drain properly, causing water to pool, and the bathroom door didn’t close very smoothly. Nothing major, but details that could easily be fixed. One thing I really appreciated is the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. They clearly focus on being environmentally friendly, which is a great initiative. The location is nice if you’re looking for a quieter beachfront stay. However, if you want to explore Marbella and the surrounding areas, I would definitely recommend renting a car. Otherwise, you’ll find yourself relying on taxis or Ubers quite a bit. If being close to all the main attractions is important to you, this may not be the most convenient choice. Overall, if you’re looking for a relaxing beachfront hotel with good food, beautiful views, and a calm atmosphere, METT Marbella is a solid option. Just be prepared for slower service and a location that’s a little farther from the main attractions.

Paula Vazquez

Our experience at the hotel was amazing from start to finish. Everything was very well taken care of, and all the staff were fantastic — always friendly, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed. We would especially like to highlight Claudia R. for her kindness, warmth, and attention to detail. From the very beginning, she made us feel incredibly welcome and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. It’s always a pleasure to meet such professional and genuinely lovely people. Overall, a 10/10 experience. We will definitely be back!

Jennifer Tanner

We were very positively surprised by the METT Hotel in Marbella. We were welcomed with a complimentary welcome drink, and there was also a small treat waiting for us in our room, which we really appreciated. The pool is beautiful, and the entire hotel is very clean. We did not notice anything negative during our stay. The beach is also lovely. The service on the beach could be improved slightly, but the food served both on the beach and by the pool was excellent. The breakfast was delicious as well. The buffet offered a great variety and had everything we could wish for. Taxis were arranged for us very quickly. Although they were quite expensive, this is not the hotel’s fault, as taxi prices are generally high in Marbella. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Marbella.

Absolutely loved my stay at METT Marbella. Everything was exceptional, from the beautiful hotel and atmosphere to the service and attention to detail. The entire experience felt luxurious, effortless and genuinely welcoming. A special mention to David at reception, who was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly warm, professional and attentive throughout my stay, always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His genuine kindness and positive energy really stood out and made my experience even more special! It’s rare to come across someone who makes you feel so genuinely looked after from the moment you arrive. David is a real asset to the hotel and deserves a huge recognition for his amazing hospitality. I would definitely return to METT Marbella and highly recommend it. ✨

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at METT Marbella Hotel 🩵From the moment we arrived, we received a warm and exceptional welcome. The service was outstanding, and we truly appreciated the attention to detail and the care shown throughout our stay. Everything was perfect, and we genuinely enjoyed every moment. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so special. This definitely won’t be our last visit! I highly recommend METT Marbella to anyone looking for a unique, luxurious, and memorable experience in Marbella. We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

La Veranda completely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived until the very last minute, everything felt effortless, elegant, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is exceptional, and the level of hospitality is exactly what you hope for at a luxury hotel. What truly made our experience unforgettable, however, was the incredible service. Cucky, Sol, Chivas, and Manuel are absolute gems. They made us feel so welcome, remembered every little detail, and created such a warm and personal experience that we genuinely looked forward to seeing them each time. They were attentive without ever being intrusive, always smiling, incredibly professional, and went above and beyond to make every meal special. It's rare to come across a team that makes you feel this cared for. They are a huge reason why we'll be coming back and why we'll recommend La Veranda to everyone visiting Marbella. Thank you, Cucky, Sol, Chivas, and Manuel, for making our stay so memorable. You turned a wonderful restaurant into an experience we'll never forget. Five stars aren't enough.

Eughine Anosov

We had dinner at Sushi99 today and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome with their warm and friendly service. Salvador Jiménez gave us excellent wine recommendations that paired perfectly with our meal, and Reduan took great care of us throughout the evening. He also recommended the Rocher99 dessert, which was absolutely delicious. Thank you both for your outstanding hospitality. I’ll back

Noutsa RAMISHVILI

From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations. This property is the definition of true luxury, beautifully designed, full of taste, and offering exceptional value for the price. The rooms are absolutely amazing, and the housekeeping team deserves special recognition. Their attention to detail was outstanding, with so many thoughtful touches throughout the room that made my stay feel even more special and personal. What impressed me most was the level of hospitality throughout the entire hotel. Everyone, from the top management to every member of the staff, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. I truly felt like a valued VIP guest. I would especially like to recognize Narges from Guest Relations. She is a true star employee. From welcoming me on arrival to saying goodbye at departure, she was always warm, attentive, professional, and incredibly helpful. She genuinely cared about making my stay exceptional, and her kindness and dedication made an already wonderful experience even more special. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable stay. I look forward to returning.

Spent 9 days at this beautiful hotel. The service was excellent. By the end of the 9 days a lot of the staff were like friends. Very personable. The breakfast buffet was above and beyond amazing! The beach and tennis club are also fantastic. I highly recommend. Flavia and Javier always went above and beyond!!! We will miss you both!!

Ellia White

A fantastic experience all round. The staff are wonderful and the hotel is pure magic - extremely special for us. Cucky, Sol, Chibas & Manuel took excellent care of us for our wedding anniversary dinner. Can’t recommend enough!

Annette

Big shout out for Isabel in ‘guest experience’ at the Don Pepe, Marbella- what a professional! She is a class act and a great ambassador for the hotel and the hotel group. From day one she tried her very best to ensure we were comfortable and had a good holiday. A real asset to the team. Abel, too was most helpful and deserves a mention. Many thanks

Dear Sir or Madam, We would like to kindly share with you our review of our recent stay at Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá. Please find our detailed feedback below. Positives: • Excellent location, very close to the sea. • Beautiful and well-maintained garden and pool area. • Very good breakfast with fresh fruit and made-to-order items like omelets or boiled eggs. • The ERRE restaurant offers great steaks and a nice atmosphere. • Friendly, helpful staff and convenient on-site parking. Negatives: • The hotel clearly shows its age and no longer meets modern five-star standards. Carpets in the hallways are heavily worn. • Our room faced the inner courtyard, and every morning around 6:30 a.m. we were woken by truck noise and the sound of breaking glass, likely from bottle collection near the main entrance – clearly audible even from the 5th floor. • The windows, probably original from the 1960s, offered almost no sound insulation and couldn’t be closed properly. • The sofa bed for two children was only about 1 meter wide, with a completely worn-out mattress where you could feel the metal frame. • Blankets had no proper duvet covers – just sheets wrapped around them, constantly slipping off. Overall impression: While the hotel shines with its beautiful location, pleasant outdoor spaces, and friendly service, the rooms and windows are outdated, and noise insulation is poor. A renovation would be needed to bring it back to true five-star quality.

From the moment we arrived back at Don Pepe we felt 'back at home.' Lovely warm welcome and speedy check in to a Red Level Room. Beautiful sea view room - which was serviced daily by the charming room team. All the staff are amazing and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. The beautiful grounds help you to relax between meals. Hopefully the 'Breakfast Room' will return once the hotel has been refurbished. Can't wait to return in 2027

chargrob

Location is the best and therefore fabulous views all over the coast. Gardens are beautiful as is the lobby bar and terrace Red Level rooms are spacious ,function well with balconies to the sea. Housekeeping is very good All the staff here are some of the best you will ever come across. Charming, helpful professional...they make this hotel what it is...a lovely place to stay We wish them well with their refurbishment plans and I know that most guests will return!

Set in it's own green oasis, this hotel exudes calm and relaxation - for the guests that is - the staff are very attentive, friendly and keep things ticking along seamlessly. The breakfasts were excellent (we didn't experience the dining restaurants) and the bar with the live music was a fun place for a nightcap. We loved looking out from our room, through the trees to the sea beyond. It's an easy stroll to the old town and all it's pretty, quirky streets. We hope to return to this lovely hotel sometime soon.

We stayed at Puente Romano for our Christmas holiday, and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless. We were even surprised with a room upgrade, and the room was spacious, beautiful, and incredibly comfortable. The level of customer service was exceptional—attentive, warm, and truly some of the best we’ve experienced in Europe. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with an incredible variety and something to look forward to every morning. The resort itself feels like a small luxury village, with beautiful pools, a relaxing spa, direct beach access, and so many fantastic restaurants just steps away. We especially loved our evening at COYA, which had amazing food and a vibrant atmosphere, and it was also wonderful to have restaurants like Nobu within the resort. Puente Romano is one of those rare places where you have everything you need in one beautiful location. It made our holiday feel truly special, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Let me start this with saying this is my first time leaving a bad review, as usually, I am very understandable. Very disappointing experience. At $1700 per night per room, the quality felt more like a $100-a-night hotel. The room was in poor condition, the bathrooms had mold, water in the shower would not drain and the overall property felt old and extremely poorly maintained. The swimming pool was dirty, and the beach setup was another huge disappointment, not something I would expect at a five star resort. After seeing the condition of the hotel, we decided to cut our vacation short and leave early. This hotel is nowhere near worth the price.

Paulo Vaz

An exceptional five-star experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding, with an incredibly attentive and friendly staff who made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The hotel’s outdoor spaces are beautifully designed, spacious, and perfect for relaxing. The range of services is top-tier, with everything you could possibly need at your fingertips. There are countless high-quality amenities, all thoughtfully provided and maintained to the highest standards. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a perfect night’s sleep. A luxurious hotel that exceeds expectations in every detail — highly recommended.

This is a review solely about the breakfast. We have been to breakfasts in 5-star hotels all over the world. Price ranging always from €15 to €45 euros. So for the €65 euros you pay here, you are expecting it to be above average. Unfortunately, it was way below average. Good things first: they serve Veuve Cliquot instead of cheap cava, they cut the jamon fresh, the coffee is ok, the gluten-free section offered some GOOD food, there’s a chocolate fountain and the little croissants you can fill yourself were pretty good. The gardens are beautiful as well. However, the service, setting and other foods werent up to standards at all. We waited over 20 minutes for someone to ask if we want coffee, nobody came to clear our plates or provide us with new cutlery. We had to wave everytime to get someone’s attention. I HATE waving. I work in hospitality myself and know that it is LAST resort, because I think it’s rude!! The pastries were so dry I had to flush it down with water. The churros were undercooked, and the hot food under the lamps overcooked and low on flavour. The bacon was soft. The açai turned brown. Sausages were dry. Chia pudding tasted (and looked) artificial. Bread was dry as well. The tables and chairs are worn off and are so close together you couldnt just easily walk around without bumping into something or someone. Our first table was wobbly and placed so close to a door I couldnt pull the chair back. Saw this happening at multiple tables. The plastic placemats on the table had holes in it and gave me cheap vibes. When I shared it with staff she said “I’m sorry lady”. The whole experience was a facade of luxury and completely underwhelming for the price. A pity.

Our stay at Puente Romano Marbella was nothing short of magical—truly a breathtaking, fairytale-like destination. The property feels like a city within a city, offering an incredible variety of restaurants, shops, and experiences all within its beautiful grounds. Every corner invites you to explore, relax, and enjoy something new. Although it rained quite heavily during the two days of our stay, and we didn’t get the chance to visit Marbella itself, we honestly couldn’t find a reason to complain. The hotel offers so much that we were completely content to stay on the property and make the most of everything it has to offer. The accommodations are outstanding, and the staff truly elevate the experience. Every team member we encountered was professional, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. We are so grateful for the experience and would highly recommend this incredible destination. We hope to return—hopefully with sunshine next time! Sincerely, Carlos and Maria

What an incredible stay! This is honestly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The hotel was beautiful, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. They showed the World Cup so you never miss a moment, the hospitality was fabulous! The food was absolutely sublime—every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was outstanding, and it made for a truly relaxing and memorable experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so special!

Our stay at Ikos Andalusia was exceptional from start to finish. The standout feature was the incredible staff—every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our holiday special. The variety of restaurants and cuisines was outstanding, with something to suit every taste. Every meal was beautifully prepared, and the quality of the food was consistently excellent. It really felt like fine dining throughout the resort. The amenities are fantastic, and the selection of pools means there's a perfect spot whether you're looking to relax in peace or enjoy time with family. The resort is beautifully maintained, and every detail has been thoughtfully designed to create a luxurious and stress-free experience. Overall, Ikos Andalusia exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for a luxury all-inclusive resort with exceptional service, incredible food, and first-class facilities, this is the place to be. We can't wait to return!

I suspect I share many of the reasons why a busy parent, with kids, will choose an all-inclusive resort: no hassle, no hidden costs, value for money, great service, and frankly no worries. I got all of this from Ikos Andalusia. Caveat, we paid extra for the deluxe package. So I can only speak for that. The service was incredible! I cannot speak highly enough. They are all friendly, really look after you and very responsive. They adapted to accommodate things when it rained a couple of days and they're just great. Special mentions go out to the following people who made our stay wonderful: Matias, Cia (the sommelier), Johan, Jose (sommelier), Jose Antonio, Erika, Dora, Josh, Cristina, Yegor, Alexandru (he was our personal concierge and was fabulous), and Ana. The food was good. They had a great selection of restaurants to choose from. As it gets very busy, I recommend you book what you want for your whole stay in advance. I recommend booking before you arrive. Well worth it and reduces the hassle. Not their fault if it's too busy and they can't switch you around. The rooms were nice. They're not fancy, but they're very clean and well-maintained. The view of the sea was really nice. The facilities are great. You find hidden gems as you explore the resort. What was really cool is that even though they were at full occupancy, it never felt crowded. That adds to the relaxation. Overall, recommend this place highly!

We just came back from our trip to Ikos Andalusia. We went there from Tuesday till Sunday. It was absolutely amazing. Such kind and accommodating staff. They met our every need, even needs we didn't know we had! For our check-in we were greeted with such warmth by a lovely young lady who's name I unfortunately forgot. She set the mood for our whole holiday. The food was amazing but make sure to make reservations in advance because it can be fully booked pretty quickly. The pools were lovely and 24/7 roomservice is such a nice service to have. The beach is very accessible and their live music was a wonderful way to end our night every day. We will be back to Ikos for sure! Kind regards, Amy

Beautiful location, a few things to know Staff are exceptionally friendly and the beachfront setting is stunning, hard to beat. A few notes for prospective guests: - Family-focused: Bikes (and bike bells) are a constant presence - this leans strongly kid-centric. - Rooms: Comfortable but on the smaller side, even connecting rooms. - No water sports on-site: You're directed to a nearby beach area instead. - Bar hours: Officially till 1am, but often closes earlier in practice. Excellent service and location overall - just worth knowing if you're not travelling with kids or want water sports on-site.
