Here’s my honest review of METT Marbella.
Overall, I had a good stay. One of the biggest highlights is definitely the location right on the beach. The views are beautiful, and the atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing.
The food at the hotel was good. There are two restaurants: AMMOS, which serves Mediterranean cuisine, and Isola, the Italian restaurant. There’s also Lola’s Bar, where you can grab snacks and drinks during the day. The cocktails were great as well.
The biggest downside was the service. It was extremely slow throughout our stay. We were often left waiting much longer than expected, and when we mentioned it, some of the staff didn’t seem very receptive. Considering the level of hotel, I think this is an area that definitely needs improvement.
As for the rooms, they were perfectly fine. They’re not the most luxurious rooms I’ve ever stayed in, but they’re comfortable and have everything you need. There were a few maintenance issues in our room—the shower drain didn’t drain properly, causing water to pool, and the bathroom door didn’t close very smoothly. Nothing major, but details that could easily be fixed.
One thing I really appreciated is the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. They clearly focus on being environmentally friendly, which is a great initiative.
The location is nice if you’re looking for a quieter beachfront stay. However, if you want to explore Marbella and the surrounding areas, I would definitely recommend renting a car. Otherwise, you’ll find yourself relying on taxis or Ubers quite a bit. If being close to all the main attractions is important to you, this may not be the most convenient choice.
Overall, if you’re looking for a relaxing beachfront hotel with good food, beautiful views, and a calm atmosphere, METT Marbella is a solid option. Just be prepared for slower service and a location that’s a little farther from the main attractions.

Our experience at the hotel was amazing from start to finish. Everything was very well taken care of, and all the staff were fantastic — always friendly, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed.
We would especially like to highlight Claudia R. for her kindness, warmth, and attention to detail. From the very beginning, she made us feel incredibly welcome and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. It’s always a pleasure to meet such professional and genuinely lovely people.
Overall, a 10/10 experience. We will definitely be back!

We were very positively surprised by the METT Hotel in Marbella. We were welcomed with a complimentary welcome drink, and there was also a small treat waiting for us in our room, which we really appreciated.
The pool is beautiful, and the entire hotel is very clean. We did not notice anything negative during our stay. The beach is also lovely. The service on the beach could be improved slightly, but the food served both on the beach and by the pool was excellent.
The breakfast was delicious as well. The buffet offered a great variety and had everything we could wish for.
Taxis were arranged for us very quickly. Although they were quite expensive, this is not the hotel’s fault, as taxi prices are generally high in Marbella.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Marbella.

This was probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The amenities were amazing starting with the breakfast buffet in the morning. Pool and poolside menu were great. The restaurants on site made you not want to leave. Some further restaurants/nightlife are like a 25 minute taxi away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Erika and the rest or the staff were really lovely to us throughout our stay

The hotel is beautiful, with modern, stylish rooms, a fantastic pool, and direct beach access. Everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was relaxing from the moment we arrived.
The food was fantastic, with plenty of delicious options to choose from throughout our stay. We also loved spending time by the pool, where the live DJ created such a great atmosphere during the day!
The staff service was exceptional. A special thank you to Alejandro, who was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. He was happy to help with anything we needed, and genuinely made us feel valued as guests.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend METT to anyone visiting the Costa del Sol!
