We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this all-inclusive hotel. From the very first moment, everything exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was relaxing, the facilities were spotless, and the food selection was diverse and delicious every single day. What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredibly kind and professional staff. Everyone was always smiling, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. We would especially like to thank Maroune, Jolanta, Nicolle, Kate, Madan and Polish receptionist Angela for their outstanding service, warm attitude, and genuine hospitality. I really appreciate having a Polish-speaking receptionist — it made our stay much more comfortable. They made us feel truly welcome and special throughout our entire stay. We are extremely grateful for such a memorable experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect all-inclusive vacation. We will definitely come back!

Geat experience with All Inc Plus programme . The staff was friendly and welcoming to new tourists regardless of their age and ethnicity. The food was also very varied. It was mostly organised as a buffet with lots of different cuisine. we liked the fact that guests are entitled to have dinner in several restaurants. Our room was always clean and the staff was very friendly.we are not sure about the names but they all are pretty good with making the room tidy and clean Special thanks to Sree Lakshmi and We had excellent table service by the staff who attended to us ( Subash and maniyappan) they are calm, friendly and made sure we had a good time. We are not sure about the persons name who served on Sunday evening he is excellent All the members in Salia and Guliez restaurant was amazing All together we enjoyed the stay, we are quite happy about the cleanliness of the place Thank you so much to all❤️

We recently stayed at db San Antonio Hotel + Spa and upgraded to the AI+ package, and it was absolutely worth it. The highlight of our stay was definitely the AI+ Lounge experience, which made our holiday feel extra special from start to finish. The lounge itself was excellent — relaxing atmosphere, great food and drinks, and a much more personal experience — but what really made it outstanding was the staff. A huge thank you to Puja, Rekha, Sreelakshmi, Dembo and Zeee who were all incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming every single day. They genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and always greeted us with a smile. Special mention also to Chef Houcem, whose food was consistently fantastic. The quality, presentation and variety were superb, and it was clear how much care went into everything served in the lounge. The combination of excellent facilities and such hardworking, professional staff made this one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Malta. We would happily return and would strongly recommend the AI+ upgrade to anyone staying at db San Antonio.

I had a wonderful stay at db San Antonio Hotel + Spa! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the facilities were excellent. The food selection was great, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and enjoyable. We had a really nice stay in Malta and overall a great experience. The DB San Antonio hotel rooms were clean and well maintained, and Lila, our cleaner, did an excellent job every day which we really appreciated. The weather was a bit windy and cold so we didn’t get much use out of the outdoor pools, but the indoor facilities and gym were good and we made the most of them. The all-inclusive package was good value for money, and while the immediate surrounding area is just okay, the location makes it easy to get to Valletta, St Julian’s, and Mdina without too much travel. Overall, an enjoyable stay and we’d definitely consider coming back.

Stayed here in Feb this year. It is amazing but I have to commend the staff, they are what makes this place so special ❤️ they could not do enough for us. Bar staff absolutely the best. Front desk staff amazing, breakfast staff amazing. Fab place. Trails to walk at back of hotel, and beach at front. TV could do with more channels though to suit other countries. We had a kitchen, dining room , bedroom and bathroom. Robes also were a lovely touch. We used public transport and buses went from just across the road. We will definitely return here. Didn't go to spa, but the shop is well stocked. All round just fab. Also a must is Popeye village.

Bottom line: This is not a 5-star establishment, as there are too many items that fall short of expectations. Good things: - very nicely kept reception and communal areas - very wide selection at breakfast in the restaurant - Nice views from the sea view rooms - The majority of the staff are very friendly, although some of them look flustered and overworked. Inconsistent / so-so things: - rooms and corridors are overdue refurbishment. Scuffs, previous paint repairs, stained carpets and so on. This is in contrast with the reception area as previously mentioned. Our balcony light was full of dead flies and the bulb was pretty much out. Little touches like this are important. - the hotel is an absolute maze when you are first there, and it took us a very long time to find the spa / pool area for the first time. - housekeeping is inconsistent. Some days we got the correct number of towels, some days we didn't. One day our bin wasn't emptied, nor were the cups or glasses replaced. But they made the bed up. Very strange. - the spa / pool area especially the changing rooms are starting to become tired and neglected. Water pooling in the changing room floor, shower areas clearly not being cleaned regularly, and missing fixings on things like lockers, or missing hooks in shower cubicles etc. Not a five star experience. The pool area itself was generally quite clean however. Bad things: - we felt we were constantly having to find things ourselves / ask for things at breakfast that should already be present, or being picked up by the staff. I lost count of the number of times there was no spoon present on a place setting - this is absolutely basic for any catering establishment. Same goes for things like coffee machines being allowed to run out of beans. Not a massive deal, but indicates a chaotic and badly managed restaurant, and this was in low season. - the spa / pool area seems to be deserted of any staff from afternoon onwards. In the male changing room, the hourly cleaning sheet had not been signed since 1pm, when I had used it at around 9pm. Sometimes the dirty towel trolley was stacked full, with no clean towels available. Why would we want to risk paying for any treatments if this is the level of service experienced in the first instance? - the bedding and pillows feel like they haven't been updated in a very long time. Overly soft and sinking mattress and pillows that have no support. Overall, I can't recommend this property to anyone, nor are we likely to return, as it simply doesn't deliver the experience expected from a hotel of this calibre.

We were looking for a relaxing stay near the beach with a bit of sun and we found it. The hotel has the perfect location - the beach just a few steps from the hotel. The hotel itself is showing its age, could do with refurbishment and modernisation. The service we received from front desk, to the restaurants Mokka Lounge, Flavours (breakfast) and Agliolio was excellent. They were attentive and professional. Henri, whom we met a few times for breakfast made us and all the other guests feel welcome. He was friendly and his stories were funny - a great way to start the day. Mavic and Joy were also friendly & made our breakfast more enjoyable. We enjoyed the facilities in the hotel including the indoor and outdoor pool. The spa was also very relaxing. Having the restaurants within the hotel is very convenient for guests. We came during off peak season but I can see how busy it can be during the summer months. Would recommend for proximity to the beach - sunsets are unreal, for families and anyone who’s looking for a quieter location in Malta.

We stayed for 7 nights and had a wonderful experience. We were served by the lovely Elvie, and we later discovered that we are actually related! She was very polite, accommodating, approachable, and always full of smiles for everyone. Even when she was busy, she never failed to greet guests with a warm smile. And I’m not saying this just because we’re related—her service was truly excellent. Our bedroom had a beautiful sea view, which made our stay even more special. The hotel is perfectly located right in front of the sea, near the walking trail along the seafront—ideal for relaxing walks. The restaurants served lovely food, especially at Aglolio Restaurant and Moka Bar, both with a perfect ambience. There is also a café/bar near the beach, and Apple Eye Restaurant is less than a 10-minute walk away, serving delicious food and drinks. Special mention to Laarni and Mario at Moka Bar, and Alyssa at Aglolio for their great service and also Gerard. Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to come back!

There were a number of things during my stay that didn’t quite meet the standard I’d associate with a five-star hotel. The main building felt a bit worn in places, with scuffs and marks that took away from the overall impression. Service was inconsistent. Some staff were excellent, but others seemed a little unsure, which led to a few moments that left me a bit miffed — for example, being shown to my stored luggage and picking it up myself, with help offered only afterwards. Not awful, just not what I’d expect at this level. Food was mixed as well. My room service breakfast was incorrect; I’d ordered a breadbasket with croissants and snacks but received toast instead. The Indian restaurant was fine, though milder than expected. Again, not terrible, just not quite five-star. The spa was clean and well maintained, though several facilities weren’t working during my visit. I also realised I hadn’t been told about all the hotel facilities at check-in, and noise travelled easily from neighbouring rooms if their balcony doors were open. Individually, these things didn’t ruin my stay, but together they left the experience feeling below the standard advertised. I don’t think I’d return, though I did appreciate the elements that were done well.

A special thank you to Antonino and Marisol from the breakfast team, who were incredibly kind and attentive every morning. The whole team took great care of us during our stay. A wonderful place to stay in Malta. Had such a nice time. We booked the Superior Sea View room. The view of Valletta from the room was stunning. Enjoyed my morning coffee with the view everyday! The service is nice and prompt, and the staff are warm and friendly. Breakfast buffet spread was also nice but could definitely be better with 1-2 more warm dishes.

We stayed at the Barcelo Hotel and everything was absolutely perfect. Both the hotel itself and the staff exceeded our expectations. The hospitality, the genuine care for guests, and the overall service quality were outstanding. A special thank you to Mr. Ayaz ( if I correctly remember) at the reception for his warm welcome and attentive support from the very first moment. He — along with the entire team (Unfortunately I could not remember all names, but all of them are great) — was incredibly helpful, professional, and kind throughout our stay. Being our first visit to Malta, we were very happy with our hotel choice. Barcelo Sliema was super in every aspect. Staff were friendly and helpful, choice of breakfast was excellent. Rooms were well equipped and very comfortable. The pool and spa offered all you could want. Hotel position was so convenient for transport to everywhere. Views of Valletta were great. First time in Malta and the Hotel was in a lovely location, with amazing views of Valletta whether you were sitting on your balcony, sunbathing around the pool or having some lovely food at Mantra. You have bars and some amazing restaurants not even half a mile from the front doors, with a lovely marina/waterfront walk to the get to them. The point shopping mall is also just a minutes walk from the hotel. Very nice if you want to get out of the heat and have a shop. For me the hotel was immaculate. Clean and modern hotel room where they have coffee and tea making facilities and complimentary bottles of water and a mini fridge. The night time turn down service was a nice touch! The hotel breakfast was the best I’ve had in a long time. The range of food, quality and taste was amazing! The staff are lovely! They are hard working but always have time for you. Very polite, quite simply the best service I’ve had on holiday. They were lovely.

As a Radisson VIP member, I have stayed at many Radisson properties over the years and service quality is something I value highly. During this trip to St Julian’s I stayed at another nearby hotel because I wanted to try something different, but after visiting Radisson Blu St Julian’s for breakfast I was reminded why I normally choose Radisson. The breakfast experience was truly excellent, with a wide selection of fresh and high quality food that was well presented and constantly replenished. Everything felt organized and relaxed, exactly what you want to start the day. What made the experience exceptional was Mathew D.G at the breakfast service. His professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail were outstanding. He made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived and ensured everything was perfect. I actually had to ask for his name because the service and the overall experience were so good that I wanted to make sure he received the recognition he deserves. This is the kind of service that represents the Radisson brand at its best. It is rare to meet someone who leaves such a positive impression. Mathew D.G’s hospitality alone is a strong reason for me to return. Thanks to him and the excellent breakfast team, Radisson Blu St Julian’s will definitely be my first choice on my next visit to Malta. Highly recommended, especially the breakfast service and the wonderful staff.

More than 5 stars deserved! The location is perfect — everything is within about a 20-minute walk. The service was absolutely faultless from start to finish. When we first checked in, our agent had forgotten to send the booking confirmation. We arrived very late and extremely tired, but instead of asking us lots of questions, the reception staff kindly told us to rest first and simply send the confirmation email later. That level of understanding and care was truly appreciated. A special mention as well to the lovely lady at breakfast — I forgot to ask her name, but she called me “Ate,” which in my country is a respectful way to call someone “big sister.” That small gesture made me feel so welcomed and at home. She always made sure our breakfast experience was special. Also, huge thanks to Santosh — such a wonderful guy, always smiling and happily serving everyone. Big hands up to the entire breakfast team; they were all incredibly friendly, warm, and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already planning to come back soon, this time with our children as well. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

I, my wife & my brother stayed here for a week & it was awesome!😊 The service & the hospitality was beyond excellent especially to Yoshada (who was stationed at breakfast concierge) who treated us as friends, has a very bright aura everyday. Also to Jesmund for the great service at the breakfast buffet. We look forward to staying here for our next vacation in Malta. PS. Try their chips at the Kontiki restaurant, they’re perfect! Our first trip to Malta was made even more memorable by the incredibly warm hospitality we enjoyed at the Radisson Blu St Julian. The staff there took excellent care of my family, especially my parents. At breakfast the team were stand out, in particular Santosh and Yashoda were wonderfully warm and welcoming and ensured we started our day smiling. Dietary restrictions were taken care of, thank you Binita. The pool looks out onto the Stunning Med and the hotel is in a quiet part of the bay but remain close to St Julian’s centre making it a comfortable and convenient choice. Some updating to the actual hotel is required but overall a lovely experience.

Position -8 mins to valhetta main strip (three flights of steps or a free shuttle bus). Breakfast and the view from the restaurant. Our room , 503 had a great view, kept spotlessly clean. All the staff were friendly and professional. It was all a great experience and stay. Not really a 5* more a really really sound 3+++ as it is frayed around the edges in places. Would be really easy to spruce those bits up with effort, but we liked it, characterful and a home from home. Recommended highly.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It has a great old school vibe about it without feeling overly dated. I actually loved the room as it had character unlike some of the new sleek rooms where everything is beige or cappuccino. Hotel is situated about a 10min walk from the main shopping street. The hotel is in the middle of a steep hill, down to to the coast /ferry and up to the main town (they have complimentary shuttle service if needed). Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the suite did feel a bit sparse, some artwork, cushions on the sofa would have helped. No coffee machine in the room but a kettle was provided. Beds were comfortable and the soundproofing was excellent. I did find the quality of the sofas a bit poor ans they weren't the most comfortable after a while. No Youtube available and TV was satellite so you didn't have a great selection of channels. The biggest drawback was the breakfast, there was a lot of food but the quality wasn't the best. It was the typical continental breakfast but the food was never hot. It would have been nice if they had maybe one different dish on a daily basis instead of the same things over and over. There was no plant milk available and no vegan or vegetarian specific dishes (obviously beans, tomatoes etc were on offer). One thing that did shock me was, when cleaning the tables the staff just wiped any leftover bits onto the carpeted floor. (I obsevered this a few times so maybe some training is required). Bathroom was small but fine for the two of us and came with a small but deep bathtub. There was no toilet brush which was a bit odd. I had originally only booked a few nights but extended my stay as I liked the overall experience that much. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, location was great, staff were friendly, comfortable bed, decent enough breakfast (egg station was the best option for hot food).

Nice hotel. Very big and with great view from some rooms. Stuff was great from the reception to tje cleaning stuff. Breakfast area was big and the stuff puts you in a table so no need to wait or search. Breakfast ptions were plenty and good. Room was big and clean with amninites.. Only bad?? They asked for 50 euro deposit and 0.50 stay fee.. I recomended it

So I booked the hotel thinking it was a pretty good price for a 5* hotel. But the thing is - this not a 5* hotel. It is more like a 3* hotel. Very old, very outdated - nothing in this hotel is at the 4 or 5* level. Rooms are spacious, location is good, and that’s about it. They take money from your credit card / 50€ per night - as a deposit, and it’s beek 3 weeks since my trip, they still haven’t released the money back to my card. I booked a breakfast as well, it was diverse, but food quality very mediocre. On our last day we were living early for the airport, and asked for Breakfast boxes, which they said we have to pay for - but they said there will be a smaller breakfast spread from 4am in the lobby. What was placed on the spread was low key embarrassing. Tea and coffee and some small pastries. I asked for some fruit - they said NO. I asked for a paper bag to grab few pastries for a takeaway, they said NO. It was a very very disappointing experience for a hotel that sells itself as a premium 5* hotel. You can find much much better in Malta for that price.

Grand Hotel Excelsior delivers exactly the kind of stay where small imperfections fade behind a genuinely comfortable experience. Yes, the hotel shows its age in a few corners, but it’s the kind of “older grand hotel” charm rather than neglect. Everything was consistently clean, well maintained, and welcoming, which set a positive tone from the start. The room was a standout. It was impressively spacious and the bed was genuinely comfortable, making it easy to unwind after long days out. That sense of space and comfort really elevated the stay. The spa area added another layer of relaxation. The gym, much like the rest of the hotel, is on the older side. Some equipment wasn’t functional, but the overall size of the space made up for it. There was enough room and variety to still get a decent workout in, so it didn’t feel like a drawback worth deducting a star for. Overall, Grand Hotel Excelsior Malta offers a warm, comfortable, and satisfying stay—especially if you value spacious rooms, cleanliness, and a touch of classic hotel character.

Having just completed another stay at Hilton Malta, I can honestly say this remains one of the very best Hilton properties anywhere in the portfolio. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely valued. As a Diamond member, recognition was exceptional, but what really stood out was the personal touch from Amie, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were fortunate to receive a fantastic room upgrade, which made an already memorable trip even better. The hotel itself is superb – immaculate facilities, beautiful pool areas, excellent food and drink options, and a location that is perfect for exploring St Julian’s and the wider island. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and seemed genuinely committed to ensuring guests had a great experience. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. If I had to find a “complaint”, it would be that I quickly discovered you can order drinks directly from your sun lounger by the pool! Needless to say, it didn’t take me long to become very comfortable with that particular service. What continues to set this hotel apart is the combination of outstanding facilities and genuinely warm hospitality. It’s rare to find a property that consistently delivers at such a high standard, but Hilton Malta does exactly that. A huge thank you to Amie and the wider team for another fantastic stay. We left relaxed, refreshed, and already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended and undoubtedly one of Hilton’s finest hotels. 🍸☀️🇲🇹

Great vacation experience at the Hilton Malta. The room (King Size) overseeing the pool and sea was modern, clean and spacious with coffee making, and all the other amenities you need. Food was delicious with plenty of variety everynight and most mornings we took the opportunity to eat outside in the warm weather. Staff were excellent and very attentive, gracious and friendly. The hotel is well located ‘set apart’ from the main St Julian’s and George’s Bay nightlife. Instead has the marina adjacent to the hotel which caters for the likes of Sunseekers luxury boats Malta base. Highly recommend.

Wow wow wow! Booked this hotel for my husbands 40th birthday trip. Upgraded to an executive room and we’re lucky enough to have the exec lounge 37steps from our room. Fantastic location, on the sightseeing bus route, good for taxis and walks around the marina. Couldn’t fault this hotel in any way, exceptional breakfast options. Brilliant bar and lounge. Thoroughly enjoyed our 7days here!

We have stayed at a lot of Hiltons, but this has to be one of our favorites! The staff was amazing and took such good care of us. We let them know before arriving that we were celebrating birthdays and they left us a treat in our room. It was the kindest gesture. Additionally, the hotel sat right on the water, was super clean, and the rooms were so spacious. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a luxurious place to stay in Malta!

My stay at Hilton Malta was fantastic, and I would especially like to recognize Shegila and Peter from the Front Office for their outstanding service. After a long day of travel, I arrived earlier than expected and was quite tired. Shegila immediately took the initiative to check whether my room could be prepared sooner and kept me updated throughout the process. Instead of simply asking me to wait, she made sure I was comfortable and genuinely cared about making my arrival as smooth as possible. Peter was equally impressive. On one occasion, I needed advice on local transport and places to visit around Malta. Rather than giving a quick answer, he took the time to explain the best options, recommended several locations based on my interests, and even provided helpful tips that made my trip much easier and more enjoyable. What really stood out was how both of them handled every interaction with professionalism and a positive attitude. When I had a few special requests regarding my stay, they coordinated everything quickly and efficiently, always following up to ensure everything had been taken care of. Their communication was excellent, and they made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another room number. In an industry where great service can make all the difference, Shegila and Peter set the standard. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond genuinely enhanced my experience. Hilton Malta should be incredibly proud to have such dedicated professionals at the front desk. Thank you both for making my stay so memorable. I had an amazing stay at this hotel with my 7-year-old! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, especially Leah, who made our stay very comfortable and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, the hotel was super clean, and the ocean view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. My son loved the spacious room and the kid-friendly atmosphere. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of tasty options that we both enjoyed every morning. What a wonderful place. From the moment of our arrival, we felt very welcome, and the staff took good care of us. They were so friendly to us as a family, caring about our kids, and giving us the best time. The location is perfect, located in the heart of St. Julian's, a 5-minute walk to the famous Mercury Tower and Portomaso. We will definitely come back. Such a nice hotel in Malta. I can fully recommend the place.

Stayed 8 nights here in Feb. The service was excellent, everyone friendly and happy to help. Our room was lovely, although in the new block so a bit of a walk round. The air in the rooms was quite dry and it was difficult to get the right balance with the aircon. Used the indoor and outdoor pool during the stay. They say heated but could do with being a bit warmer. The inside whirlpool was quite cold and the jets quite aggressive! Had the breakfast one morning. Pricey but an amazing choice. Plenty of cold and hot options. You definitely wouldn’t get bored if you had it everyday! The location is pretty convenient. Bus stop outside to get to Valletta and plenty of restaurants and things close by. The chocolate cake from the lounge was delicious.

Beautiful place and the most welcoming staff I have ever experienced. The hotel itself is very beautiful and has an amazing view. It truly felt like home, even more than that. Zaid was amazing. He checked me in and took care of us throughout our whole stay, together with Kapil. At checkout, Aarti was also very kind and helpful. We celebrated my mother’s birthday, and we were welcomed with birthday amenities and warm wishes, which made it very special. At breakfast, Suru took such good care of us with the biggest smile and genuine warmth each day. The whole breakfast team, Parmod, Rhaden, Saroj, Sean Paul, Sushma, and Santosh, were amazing every single day. They always welcomed us with genuine smiles and warmth. I also want to mention the excellent service from the managers on duty, Ashish Lama and Ahmed Aboushall. They made sure to check on every guest and took care of all feedback and needs. I was impressed with the way they take care of their guests. Housekeeping was also 10/10, truly five star service. Thank you dearly to everyone! Because of the team’s attention to detail and genuine hospitality, I will definitely visit again.

I recently stayed at the Westin Dragonara in Malta and had a mixed experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers true 5-star amenities. The property is well maintained, the breakfast buffet was very nice with a good variety, and the location is excellent—close to nightlife, restaurants, and entertainment. Having the casino right next door is also a plus for those who enjoy that. However, the biggest downside was the lack of individual air conditioning control. The hotel operates on a central system that switches between heat or AC depending on the season. During our stay, it was warm during the day, but AC was not available. We were advised to open the balcony doors for ventilation, which was not a realistic solution due to constant noise from children screaming at the pool below noted the entire day. This made it very difficult to sleep comfortably or even feel like the room was breathable. We were later told that only luxury suites have proper air conditioning control, which is disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, while the hotel delivers on amenities, location, and service, I would rate it closer to a 4-star experience due to the inability to sleep comfortably and the lack of climate control in standard rooms. If you’re sensitive to noise or heat, I strongly recommend booking a luxury suite—or considering another property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at AX The Palace and wouldn't hesitate to book again and recommend. This was our first visit to Malta and we had the best time. We were so pleased with our choice of hotel. The location was an ideal base for exploring with easy access to the seafront, restaurants and shops. It was much quieter than busy Valletta but still with a very pleasant atmosphere. The service we received was superb. All staff were friendly and accommodating. We were delighted with our upgrade to a superior room when checking in. The room was stunning with an amazing seaview. All facilities were well maintained and met our needs. We especially loved the rooftop pool and bar. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of hot and cold options served buffet style. Personally I prefer an a la carte style breakfast with table service and I was surprised this wasn't an option. It would have made breakfast a better and more relaxed experience for me. The staff were very attentive and great at replenishing food but I just find other guests' behaviour around the food off-putting (e.g. handling food when there were tongs, leaning over you when you're trying to get food) and would prefer to have the option of having breakfast cooked to order. We didn't dine in any of the other restaurants available in the hotel but it was good to have these available. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

stayed at this hotel in Sliema and had a very pleasant experience overall. The room service food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was good and offered enough variety to start the day well. I stayed in a deluxe room, which was very comfortable and spacious, with a lovely balcony that I really enjoyed. The location is another big advantage — it’s very convenient and offers easy access to nearby areas. The only downside was that I visited during the New Year holiday, and the indoor swimming pool was quite small and often busy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay in Sliema.

We stayed at this hotel as a family (two adults and a small child) for one week and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The booking process was easy, with flexible cancellation and the option for online check-in, which saved time at arrival. We were also informed in advance about the possibility of a last-minute room upgrade. At check-in, we upgraded from a Superior Room to the Music Suite for a small additional fee, and it was absolutely worth it. The suite is spacious, bright, and truly unique, featuring two comfortable king-size beds, a large bathroom, drums and a high-quality music sound system, and a large terrace with a jacuzzi and stunning views of the city and Valletta. As a welcome, we received a bottle of champagne and a fruit platter. Housekeeping was excellent, with cleaning twice a day and daily water refills. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Despite arriving before official check-in time, we were offered breakfast on the first day, luggage storage, early room preparation, and access to the pool while waiting. Breakfast offered a good variety, although it was mostly the same each day. The hotel has several restaurants and a café for lunch and dinner. There are two pools: a rooftop pool with sea views (not heated during our stay) and an indoor pool with a sauna and steam room, which is smaller than it appears in photos and has a capacity of 18 people. The indoor pool is also shared with guests from AX The Victoria, which could lead to more crowding during the high season, although this was not an issue during our stay. The location is excellent—on a quiet street, yet within walking distance of public transport, supermarkets, seaside promenades, shopping centers, and stores. Overall, the hotel met all our expectations. It is comfortable, family-friendly, and ideal for longer stays. We would gladly return and highly recommend it.

Very kind and helpful staff, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good with plenty of options. There was a small issue with my reservation upon arrival, but the staff handled it professionally and upgraded us to a better room as an apology. Great service overall!

Our experience at The Palace Malta was indeed a wonderful experience. It is indeed a 5 star hotel. To start with, the counter staff at the reception area were friendly and helpful with a big smile. They tend to the needs of each of their customers. There’s always a smile and solution to a problem. I like their attitude and positive approach to things. Rooms and beds were comfortable. There’s a fully equipped gym, indoor and outdoor pools and a sauna which was rather welcoming. The restaurant at the ninth level serves good meals. We had a glimpse of fireworks from this level. I was sad to leave this place. Try this hotel when you’re in Malta. ☺️
