Great value and a lovely stay
We had a really enjoyable stay at the Hellinis Hotel in Corfu. The staff are genuinely lovely, friendly and incredibly hard-working, and nothing ever seems too much trouble.
The food is good, with plenty of variety, and our room was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. For the price and the location, we thought it offered very good value for money and would definitely recommend it.
The pool area is also a real bonus — it’s nice and quiet, and you don’t get any hassle whatsoever trying to find a sunbed or relax around the pool.
The only thing to be aware of is the location near the airport, so you do need to like the sound of planes arriving and taking off! Personally, we didn’t find it a problem and actually quite enjoyed watching them.
Overall, a great-value hotel with lovely staff, good food, clean rooms and a relaxed atmosphere. We’d happily stay again.

A quiet hotel, food was varied always something worth trying. Pool was a tad cold but great once in!
Near to a bus stop hand t for Corfu old town just €2 each way (but once in the old town you can buy tickets for €1.3 each way!)

Where do I start, the staff where fantastic, very welcoming and very friendly, we came as a family of 8, my daughter is autistic and they couldn’t do enough for her, great variety on the food, drinks could improve, but the over all experience tops everything else, the cleaners, bar staff, reception staff, cooks & owners hospitality was over expectations, always smiling and always interacted with us. The pool was fantastic and clean, nice relaxed vibes, couldn’t recommend this place enough for people with autistic children

Lovely budget hotel, staff are so nice and helpful. The food was excellent, even for a vegetarian. There are resident cats who are so cute, and some of them like a cuddle.
There is a bus stop righ outside that will take you to Corfu Old Town.
Beds were a bit hard, but the rooms were very clean and housekeeping did an excellent job.
There is an occasional roar of a plane landing or taking off, but we got used to it quickly.

⭐️ 1 STAR — Extremely disappointing stay
The most serious issue during our stay was the way Hellinis Hotel dealt with a sexual harassment incident involving me.
While I was walking through the hotel reception area, a man behaved sexually towards me. I immediately told my mum, who reported what had happened to the hotel.
We asked for the CCTV cameras to be checked, but the woman manager completely disregarded the situation and did not appear interested in properly investigating it. When she was told what had happened, she said, “Well, he’s only staying one night.” Nothing was done about the man.
Two women who were with him also spoke to us about what had happened. One of them told me that I was imagining it and said that the man had a daughter my age. Being told that I had imagined what I had experienced was extremely upsetting.
Later, a male manager came and handled the situation much better. He spoke to us, asked us questions about what had happened and listened to us. However, the man was still allowed to stay at the hotel and was not removed.
We were told that we would have to speak to the owner the following morning and that he would arrive at 9am. The owner never came. I waited until around 8pm to speak to him, but nobody came and spoke to us. The following day, nobody gave us any updates or explained what was happening.
I found the whole situation completely unacceptable. Regardless of whether the man was staying for one night or longer, I expected a serious complaint involving a young guest to be taken seriously, investigated properly and followed up.
Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was also extremely disappointing.
The food was horrible and there was very little that we actually enjoyed eating. For an all-inclusive holiday, I expected a much better standard.
Two women working at the bar were also extremely rude and aggressive towards us, which made us feel very uncomfortable.
The hotel itself was incredibly boring, with very little to do. Our room was in poor condition — the beds felt like they were falling apart, the shower was ridiculously tiny, there were unpleasant smells and the room/hotel generally did not feel clean.
I understand this is a 3-star hotel, but basic cleanliness, decent facilities and, most importantly, taking a serious safety complaint involving a young guest seriously should be the bare minimum.
The location and pool were some of the better parts of the hotel, but unfortunately the problems completely ruined our holiday. I would not return and would not recommend Hellinis Hotel.
