We had a great time for the 5 nights we booked. The rooms were facing the sea and offered a spectacular view. The bar and pool area were spacious and created a pleasant freshness. The hotel was clean, the rooms were cleaned every day, as were the sheets and towels. The food was very good and the staff very polite and smiling. The only exception was the morning bartender, who in our opinion was rude and provided poor quality service.

I would like to express my gratitude to all hotel staff and services. We stayed in July 2025, enjoyed every meal there, also everyone is very friendly, informative and kind! The staff at the restaurant and the bar are working hard and still being overly nice. The swimming pool area is clean, there is a lot of shade and space and the music from the bar is always cool! Special praise goes to DJ's!
All the best from your Serbian guests

Great Value for an All-Inclusive Stay!
I stayed at Golden Sand Hotel with an all-inclusive package and was pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was. The prices were incredibly low for what was offered. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic – fresh, varied, and delicious every morning.
The staff were extremely helpful and kind, always ready to assist with anything we needed, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
That said, the hotel could really benefit from some renovation. There were noticeable issues with the infrastructure, and some areas felt a bit outdated or worn down.
Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly all-inclusive option with great food and friendly service, Golden Sand Hotel is worth considering – just keep in mind it’s in need of a little refresh.

My Stay at Golden Sands in Corfu – Mixed Feelings, Mostly Disappointment
I spent a few days at Golden Sands Hotel on the charming island of Corfu, but unfortunately – despite the beautiful location – the trip didn’t quite meet my expectations.
Let’s start with one of the biggest surprises: the hotel is not located near the beach. It takes at least a 20-minute walk to reach the sea, which might be a big downside for those expecting quick and easy access to the water and a sandy beach right by the hotel.
When it comes to food, that was honestly the biggest letdown. It wasn’t typically Greek, and it didn’t feel fresh at all. I had stomach issues after breakfast every day, which has never happened to me before on any trip. The selection was repetitive, and the overall quality left much to be desired. That’s definitely something the hotel should improve immediately.
The pool bar was also disappointing – poorly stocked, with very limited drink options. And the frappé coffee, which should be a Greek classic, was made so badly it was practically undrinkable.
On the positive side, the pool and green surroundings were nice – a peaceful spot to relax for a bit. The rooms were clean, though very basic, and the staff was generally friendly, though a bit disorganized at times.
To sum up: Golden Sands might work for travelers on a tight budget who don’t expect much. But if you’re looking for good food, decent coffee, beach access, and a higher standard – you’re better off looking elsewhere.
Personally, I wouldn’t stay there again, although I do highly recommend the island of Corfu itself – it’s beautiful and worth visiting.

The main bad thing was the food. You can't really live a week on greek salads, because everything else in diner has a weird aftertaste. The rooms were missing an airer for wet swims suits and towels when you come from the beach. When I tried dry them on balcony it flew on the roof right under our room and an old man has to come for them with a ladder. Beaches are also pretty far from the hotel. Stuff is lovely and helpfull, I can't say anything bad about them, except one bartender who had comments when we asked for ice in our drinks. Overall I probably wouldn't come here again.
