I went with my sister and mum for a short but sweet holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Penny is a diamond, friendly, accommodating and welcoming. It is a beautiful little slice of heaven and the food is to die for. The staff were always friendly and helpful but Penny honestly went above and beyond that I felt so comfortable. I fully recommend staying here especially if you have family as it is very inclusive. I will be happy to holiday here and stay again. Thank you so much for being a major participant in our lush holiday. Xo

We spent a week with 2 friends, Penny and all the staff go out of their way to make you feel special.
Great location, excellent food.
Our room was adequate while not luxurious. The bathroom in the room we stayed in could use a little tlc but the shower was very good and all functional.
All in all a very enjoyable stay.
Just got home to dull, cold Norfolk 🙁

We stayed at Mediterranean Blue in Kavos this September, it was a great experience! The hotel is officially 3 stars, but for us it felt like much more. The rooms were clean and cozy, with everything you might need — fridge, kettle, even a little stove, which was super handy when we wanted to buy and eat something ourselves. The beds smelled fresh, everything was tidy, so we felt really comfortable.
And the food… wow! So tasty, so Greek, every meal felt like home-cooked. Breakfasts, dinners — all amazing. And the Greek evenings with live music and dancing! We had the best time.
In Kavos we have found several nice tasty restraunts too.
The owners and service are the heart of this place — warm, kind, and always ready to help. You really feel like you’re welcomed into a family, not just staying at a hotel. Thank you, guys, a lot!
There’s also a set of pools which we enjoyed a lot, and you have three beaches nearby. We tried all three around the hotel. The hidden one, behind the little hill (20–30 min walk), became our favorite — beautiful, calm, with clear water. Totally worth the walk! We visited other even better beaches of the Islands on the north - eastern side of the island, and the Korfu city. There's no any problem to rent a car on the island.
The sea was gentle and safe, shallow for a long time, so it’s perfect for kids or anyone who isn’t a strong swimmer. The views — amazing! Plus the weather in early September was just perfect: sunny, warm, but not too hot.
All in all, this place gave us many good memories — tasty food, friendly people, Greek music and dancing. If you want nice Greek holiday feeling, I absolutely recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 10 nights. On arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our room. We were also helped to sort out the safe and sort out excursions. Sadly, it went downhill from here. On the first night there was a wedding, which was blaring loud music and karaoke until gone midnight, which kept us up after travelling half a day and being up since 2am. The speakers were right by the room and whacked up loud, which we felt was very inconsiderate to other guests.
There were 2 pool areas. The one by the reception was better looked after but only had a handful of beds and wasn’t very relaxing. The music was loud and it catered for the guests more chummy to the staff; I assume those who leave 5 star reviews and return every year? The quieter pool area used to be part of another hotel, after some research. The area was poorly looked after and maintained. Most of the tables and umbrellas were broken. The stairs to get into the pool were so sharp you had to plan a route along the steps to safely get in and out, or risk cutting your feet. The music was sporadic. Celine Dion remixes on repeat or plain silence? €3,50 for a can of Coke Zero or nearly €10 for 2 ice creams (none of it priced by the way, we had to ask the lady the price as she just wanted us to tap our cards and be gone). In the end, we were so disappointed with the pool area we went to the neighbouring Erofili hotel. We missed a trick as half of the Mediterranean Blue guests were already using their pool and pool bar area. Day by day, we saw more and more of the Med Blue guests there and even spoke to them about their similar experiences. Couldn’t recommend Erofili enough by the way: spotless, friendly and reasonably priced.
The “private beach” is not attached to the hotel at all. You have to walk down a derelict road past a derelict hotel to access it. A bit misleading as we believed the hotel was on the beach and attached to the “private beach”. Maybe an oversight on our part. The beach itself is poorly kept, very tired and dirty looking. You also have to jump down a steep drop to get to it. I wouldn’t use it personally. The sea is very rocky there too.
Greek night was okay. Good value for €18. Standard buffet food but can’t complain. The lady at the bar was stressed and could have done with some help. Drinks, like above were expensive but not great quality.
The last straw for me was the offer of a shower room on my last day. I was grateful for the offer and took them up on it. I had to wait 40 minutes at reception for the room to be ready, which I thought was fair enough as it was good enough for them to offer it. Once ready, I was told to go to room 301/302 (don’t remember now) and the door will be open. To my disgust, there was a naked man laying in the bed. I quickly shut the door and noticed the room next door was wide open. This was obviously the room I should have been directed to. However, this was also a staff member’s room! It had been tidied up but had all their belongings in there and stunk of cigarettes! I didn’t even go to reception as I was in shock, so used the shower at the neighbouring hotel, Erofili. Even if it dint stink of cigarettes, I wouldn’t dream of invading a staff member’s privacy. That also reminds me that to get to the second pool you have to walk past the staff bedrooms. Not a huge issue, but seems a bit of an invasion of their privacy and you don’t want to see the people cooking your food and cleaning your room half dressed and smoking a cigarette, with their pants hanging up to dry outside. Maybe that’s just me.
Overall, while the staff were generally friendly, this does not make up for the many shortcomings: poor housekeeping, misleading facilities, overpriced and subpar food and drink, neglected pool and beach areas, and a location that feels both unsafe an

I do not recommend this hotel. The breakfast was the same every single day, the room was very dirty, and they charge extra hidden fees that are not mentioned upfront. The mattresses were terrible, extremely uncomfortable, and overall I felt very disappointed with my stay. If they can’t even provide proper cleanliness, then what can we expect from the rest? Definitely not worth it!!
