A honest review, stayed here 27th-6th march very close to the airport it took around 5-10 minutes to get to the apartments, inside apartments very clean and everything you need for a week, fridge/ freezer, microwave, kettle, a hob to cook regular cleaners daily change of towels, our balcony was facing away from the swimming pool end which meant from 4pm each day we could enjoy the sunshine and relax on the balcony, pool lovely and clean, staff more than happy to help and great!
Weather was great most days but like people say it’s very windy but once the sun is out it’s out! Max temp 23 degrees the whole experience very pleasant, sandy beach is down the road which you could walk too but we got taxis each day which cost 2-3 euros then theres bars, restaurants, a lot of things to do, close to the apartments around a 5 minute walk you have restaurants and shops a few different varieties of food we went to then all which all was great, mina sun, Bombay restaurant, all on the same strip alcohol very cheap it was our first time going to Fuertventura and would defiantly go back it was a nice winter break for feb i would highly recommend Elba lucia and the surrounding areas!

A nice family friendly hotel, located a 5-minute walk from the bus stop and 15 minutes walk from the promenade. We had an apartment with a huge balcony overlooking the ocean, mountains and airport. The apartment was clean and tidy , the beds were comfortable. The service was excellent but the food wasn't particularly impressive, the selection was very limited. Family-run cafes and bars are located nearby. The nearest sandy beach is about an hour and a half walk along the promenade. It's about a half-hour walk to Lidl and Mercadona supermarkets

Had a two-night stay, my room was absolutely incredible. The view was stunning. We had room 307, which had a balcony facing the sea – just amazing. It was like a small apartment with your own kitchen and a double bed. The swimming pool was very quiet and clean. The food was average, not so impressed. We stayed at bed and breakfast, and one night we had dinner there just to try it, but it wasn't my cup of tea! Location it's ok, you have a free bus from the hotel which stop in the Atlantico shopping center and the beach there is very pretty, also Caleta beach is nice, take 30 mins to get to Calata 50 mins to Atlantico. £5 with a taxy. I think it's very good for a short stay, didn't have time to experience more but I had 3 lovey days

We had a lovely time at FUE. We were here for a winter break from Paris. Hotel is clean and the team were adorable, specially Iker, his team, and the food/beverage team. Just a little disappointment were the food quality though. Ofcourse there were enough to eat and choices but most felt like they were canned foods (specially veggies).
Other than that, lovely spot to run and relax. We had a pool view room, thanks to the reception team.
Great relax vacation, no tention.
Would recommande.

Fantastic Hotel with Direct Pool Access and Great Service!
This is truly a wonderful and clean hotel with a great pool area.
We especially loved the apartments with direct walk-out access to the pool. It made our stay so convenient and enjoyable!
The pool area is excellent:
There is always a lifeguard on duty, which gives great peace of mind.
The hotel organizes activities for children to keep them entertained.
The poolside bar offers refreshing cold drinks and snacks.
🍽️ Food & Dining
The food in the hotel restaurant is very tasty, and everyone in our party found something they liked. The variety was great, as they offered something different every day. A standout feature for dessert was the several types of delicious jellies they offered—a perfect treat!
🧹 Service & Staff
The service was impeccable:
Our rooms were cleaned daily, and the housekeeping ladies were very kind and thorough.
The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful, making check-in and any requests a breeze.
Overall, a highly recommended hotel for families looking for comfort, great food, and excellent pool facilities!

A last minute booking, so, pleasantly surprised. Only 5 minutes from the airport. Staff were superb, especially Ailin and Lucia, exceptional customer service. Really friendly and polite and hard working. The guy with the beard who worked behind the pool bar could do with learning some manners and customer service, useless and rude. Apart from that everything was great. Very clean, exceptional staff, from reception down to the cleaning staff.
Only a short walk into Fuste for the bars and shops.
Food was ok, what you'd expect for a 3*, but something for everyone. Well laid out and always full.
Casey
Quiet location, not far from the airport. Close to a coastal resort town with plenty of bars and some shops. Located in a quieter part of the island.
Friendly reception, restaurant and bar staff. A special mention to Rachid, who was always amazing, incredibly friendly and seemed to be enjoying life.
Family friendly hotel with a peaceful atmosphere.
Activities are available with entertainment throughout the day
There is a small buffet style restaurant with limited selection, and some snacks/nibbles available throughout the day. Some alcohol is available within the all inclusive band, but not all types.
Room is quite basic, with a living area (sofa bed, table and tv) and very white! But the weather is usually good year round so you won't be inside much, but it is all you need. Great views from our room (balcony is pool facing) with the ocean past some buildings, and mountains from the front of the building/other side of the room.
My only negative point is that the pool opens at 10:30 which is disappointing as I wanted to swim during sunrise. Otherwise, a great stay!
Great for plane spotters as they fly over (both to take off, and land - wind dependant) the noise wasn't an issue for us.
Do your research on the area to know if it is right for you before coming as many do not and then leave bad reviews
Great value for money
You get what you pay for :)
Other guests also seemed to be good people

Took 45 minutes to get checked in although there were only 2 to 3 other couples in front of us.
I originally thought the room was awful but after a sleep I woke up and saw it through different eyes, it was OK but only OK. The hot water was yellow.
The food was edible but didn't excite me.
The pool area and entertainment was something to be desired. We were booked in for 7 nights, 3 nights we went into town to chase a bit of entertainment then we checked out and moved to jandia golf (down south) we went there in November and you cannot fault it. Jandia golf is out the way but it doesn't matter, everything you want and need is on site amazing rooms, staff, service, entertainment exceptional. Go there instead.

Food is grand. Rooms have separate living area with pull out couch/ tv. Nice and clean. Veiw of pool and ocean lovely 😍 No complaints for ,off season, one week, there and back again for £500. An unexpected journey that turned out very pleasant. We loved Fuerteventura 😍 ps: there's chipmunks in the rocks on the short walk into de fuste 🐒

Firstly if you are looking five stars you need to pay five star prices.....
Arrived at night, just in time for dinner. Pretty basic . One section of hot food which always included chips, rice, salad and some type of meat. Desserts were much the same every night jelly and ice-cream. Staff were always busy, between trying to clean and set tables and when I tried to talk to a couple of them they didn't really bother.
Pool area always sunbeds available,a lot of cracked tiles around pool area and paint peeling off inside the pool itself. Bar beside the pool often busy as only just one serving but moved pretty quickly.
Room was great. Fridge, kettle, air conditioning and TV. Balcony outside with chairs and table. Towels changed and bins emptied.
All in all you get what you pay for and we found it good value for what we paid. Ideal for a quiet relaxing stay.

Absolutely incredible first time visiting.
The animation team were incredible. We loved yune & David!
They bring so much character to the games an entertainment!
Thank you for making our stay incredible!
Jose & xohara in the bar were incredible, absolute made us feel welcome and brought so much energy to the evenings.
Mercedes in the restaurant again was so welcoming and friendly, made us feel so at ease and comfortable and interacted with the kids brilliantly.
Will be looking to comeback as soon as we can.

We had a great time at Elba Castillo San jorge hotel, exceeded our expectations. We took the all inclusive package for the first time and it was highly worth it.
We were happy with the range of drinks at the bar and the food offered at the buffet. Yes the food can get a bit repetitive but there was plenty to choose from (lots of fish!) and we were happy they had a small carvery and hot plate section. We had delicious steak one evening from the hot plate which was delicious! :)
They do need clearer signage for the entrance/reception though, we walked right past it as it had a slightly different name! The location is great, short walk from the beach and right by the sea. It was a nice plus to have a seaview from our room. The room was big and spacious. The decor was a little dated but you could tell it had been recently renovated so felt new and clean.
The staff we encountered were friendly and they had a mini arcade, pool tables, table tennis and a shop onsite which we used. There were plenty of organised games/activities too which made it feel like being on a cruise ship. Overall I would highly recommend them for a nice relaxed stay!
Charlotte
The service was great, all staff were really attentive and friendly. However, everything was just a bit dated and grubby. The room was spacious but needed a lick of paint/new furniture. The bed was massive and comfortable and the view was amazing. Cleaning of rooms was subpar, the bed was always made but after 5 days there was a layer of dust on everything, meaning they weren't doing a thorough job. The facilities were okay but the buffet was disappointing. The food was all a bit mushy and not many options, a lot of the food wasn't labeled either.
The WiFi was a bit hit and miss but okay for the most part and was free so can't complain.
Our final night was ruined unfortunately by the room next door being very loud on their balcony until 2am as the rooms aren't soundproof at all. We could often hear the cleaning starting around 7:30am.
Finally, I (female) booked the hotel under my name for myself and my partner (male), but when we checked in, they put everything in my partners name, even though I was the one talking to the receptionist, which was really disappointing.
Definitely a three star hotel but has the potential of four stars if they made improvements.
Wiktoria Pijanowska
The hotel is located in a perfect place the location is really great and everything is close by. The hotel staff deserve huge praise because everyone is very kind helpful and always smiling. You can count on their support in every situation.
The animation team also deserves special recognition because they are doing an amazing job. Thanks to them there is never a dull moment they know how to entertain guests organize great activities and always have positive energy and smiles on their faces. Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful and we would gladly come back again.

What a lovely hotel this is!
We stayed here for a week, all inclusive, over Christmas as a family of four. All staff were friendly and welcoming. With the beach, harbour and shops all within walking distance so the hotel is in a great location.
The mini club was a massive hit with our children (8 & 4), the animation team were brilliant at making the children feel special and getting them involved in lots of activities.
The food was nice, there was themed nights and a range of options, all cooked well and warm. There were drink menus available at the bar and a snack menu for the pool bar which was very helpful also.
The room was spacious and the shower was powerful and stayed hot, having a bath was also very helpful with young children. The sofa bed was quite old and the pull out bed on it was very dusty, so our children slept top & tail on the sofa part, although I'm sure if we mentioned this to reception we would've been given new sheets but i didn't want to cause a fuss! The balcony was spacious and the view was beautiful, it was the highlight of the room for me.
The pools were really cold, including the heated one, so our children only lasted about 20 minutes before getting out, but we had read this from other reviews before coming so expected it anyway.
Overall, we would happily stay here again and enjoyed our experience 😊

We were really lucky and got an upgrade to a room with a separate bedroom and balcony that was far away enough from the centre of the complex to be quiet. Amazing entertainment for kids and two good sized pools plus a kiddies pool area. Everyone saves their loungers in the morning which is a bit jack and the noise around the complex centre is loud till about 1am but otherwise it was a lovely place to stay, especially if you're on the outer edges like us where it is quiet. We went self catering as dinners were reported as not great but apparently brekkie was amazing. Highly recommend Fado Steakhouse for dinner

Perfect location to walk to the beach, bus stop to get further out a short walk and easy to navigate. Nicely done up. Lovely staff! FOOD WAS FANTASTIC! Entertainment was great fun. Lovely apartments and not too big a place. We want to go back. Only negatives were 1. I found quite a bit of mould in our room on the last day. 2. Other people complained about the noise from airplanes going over and the music (we had no problem though as we were away from the entertainment and under another apartment to buffer the noise from planes.) Also the entertainment stops about 11ish so after that it gets really quiet.

Just returned from a fabulous week at this hotel. Staff, food, location, cleanliness and layout fabulous and suitable for all ages. The animation team were brilliant, especially Emma who went above and beyond to include everyone in the activities and because of Emma met some lovely people. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We arrived at broncemar on 20th December 2025 for a week over Christmas.
Receptionist was polite and told us we were stayin in room 208
Our apartment was really spacious with a cooker, microwave, fridge, pots, frying pan, cutlery, plates, cups and glasses
There is also a smart TV that didn't keep a signal so was of no use
We had a terrace aswell with two sunbeds and a table and 3 chairs
The hotel is really clean and well kept with two pools, one was heated with a shallow and deep end
Broncemar is close to the restaurants and shops and only a ten min transfer from the airport
For us personally where our apartment was situated was right above the stage where the night time entertainment was and the noise is very loud. Worst part of the apartment was at night time it was absolutely freezing, not on really as for the full week we were really cold
We would stay again but would be in the summer
Margarita Podlewska
We really enjoyed my vacation at this hotel. The rooms and apartments meet the requirements and are well maintained. We really liked the quality and assortment of the food. Many thanks to the kitchen staff. There are plenty of sunbeds by the pools, always clean. There is a children's area. My husband and I had a great time at this hotel. Recommended.

This was honestly one of the best places Iv stayed in. We stayed for 5 days in February. The hotel was very clean and tidy, the staff are always around cleaning, even mopping the floors around the pool. We were all inclusive and There was a great selection of food, breakfast had everything you could ask for, staff again always around cleaning and collecting plates. The snacks during the day were lovely, as much as you like, you can help yourself to beer on tap, and soft drinks aswell, a selection of cocktails at the bar were made for you. The room was great, modern, and spacious we could see the sea from our room, the showers did overflow, but manageable. Terrace back and front, comfortable beds, I would 1000% stay here again. 5*

A lovely week away . A nice clean, spacious 2 bedroom bungalow. Hard working friendly, helpful staff. Lovely pool area and restaurant. Plenty of food to choose from throughout the day, shops close by, a short walk into the main area. Beach, mini golf, harbour, shops and watersports.
The complex is spread out but it’s actually nice. There’s plenty of space and areas for people. A nice little terrace with chairs and a table. Clean towels every 2 days, bedding changed. Perfect getaway at a fantastic price. Can’t fault the place, the staff were all happy and helpful, made you feel very welcome.
Evening entertainment was good, plenty of Sun beds, great size pools. All areas were clean. 3 star, great price, lovely area.

Recently been staying at this hotel after last minute change to accomodation ... And I think for the better ... We stayed in block B ... A minute from pool, snack bar and main restaurant. First off I've got to say the staff from reception to the restaurant, snack bars and other staff were fantastic, friendly and very helpful... Big shout to the restaurant manager and lady's in area B snack bar ... Rooms were good ,some TLC needed to sockets and back door handles . My only gripe was entertainment and the older jobs worth pool guard who tried his best to spoil the fun for kids with floating toys 🤬... Overall great hotel for 3* would definitely return 👍🏖️✈️
Levi Hall
Over all a decent place rooms modern and clean grounds well kept staff are friendly enough. out the way enough to have some peace but close enough to shops restaurants and bars to be entertaining/practical. Food is what you expect from a 3 star hotel but was good enough there wasn’t anything I didn’t enjoy. Only issue I had was there was no hair dryer in the room and for a 3 star hotel I think it’s something that should be supplied.
Spot Fist
Such a great place to stay, the hotel has three pools (highlighted in the map). One close to reception below the main restaurant, a smaller one across the road and then a large pool further up the hill.
Two of the pools have bars serving drinks and snacks, drinks served all day and snacks served until 18:00.
We stayed all inclusive and the food was pretty good, every day there was a different set of options, doing their best to cater for all tastes. The service was excellent, every person working here was polite and super helpful making our stay just that bit better.
Only slite issue was around the rooms, they were a bit tired, particularly the floor in the bathroom. With the price we paid we really couldn't complain though as it still provided amazing value for money.
Would defo recommend it here.

Decent stay with great staff and an amazing pizza spot nearby
The hotel is okay overall — you get what you pay for. The staff truly make a difference: the lady at the restaurant, the receptionist, and the housekeeper were all exceptionally kind and always willing to help. Their friendliness was one of the highlights of my stay.
Most guests are from the UK; the majority are lovely, though as everywhere, a few can be a bit loud or annoying. I would not recommend the all-inclusive option, as the food isn’t the best — it feels more aimed at feeding hungover tourists than offering quality meals. Fortunately, there are great restaurants within walking distance, and the beach is just a short stroll away.
If you stay here, I recommend using it mainly as a base: sleep, relax, and head out to explore the island. The swimming pools are clean and pleasant, perfect for a quick dip.
A special mention for the pizza shop right behind the complex — absolutely amazing and definitely worth trying.
Overall, a decent place with wonderful staff, clean pools, and a convenient location. Perfect if you just need somewhere simple to stay while you enjoy the rest of the island.

We have just came back from there today.
Little bungalow which was really nice although we have booked one with kitchen and never got that. They have told us that the cleaner comes every 4 days but we never saw one through out our stay. Had to wash our towels and bedsheets by ourselves. Food was disgusting. Very little choice. No salad or even fried egg for breakfast. No sitting out door area. One of the guys in reception is super unfriendly. Try avoid it.
Amy Peters
Such a beautiful and peaceful chilled place. We stayed at the elite and it was stunning. Couldn't believe how close were to everything, the choices between different pools. Cannot wait to return.

I have stayed here a few times. You truly get what you pay for. This is a 2 star place, people on reviews for get that. I've stayed here multiple times and I have had no problems apart from the all inclusive food is terrible so would recommend self catering. Apart from that, would recommend for a cheap place to go

Wow what a find this hotel is. Perfect location, exceptionally clean, not too big, friendly helpful staff and good food as well. Value for money is exceptional. Rooms large bright and clean. Lovely modern bathroom large shower. We will be back for sure. One thing to call out is the all inclusive drinks are basic and no options to pay to upgrade for the week. This is something we haven't seen before as always had the option and pay as you go is a inconvenience really. Still well worthy of a 10 score!

Our recent visit to Hotel Ereza Mar was our 3rd stay and was exellent. The quality and price as very good, deserving of five stars. Good value for money. Food is fresh varied and there is a plentiful selection of things. The staff are professional friendly and work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. The whole hotel and especially the rooms are spotlessly clean. The other areas are also kept very clean. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and people relate well to each other. I recommend this hotel to my friends and we will be returning in the future.
Lyndsey Batty
Had a lovely time in Fuerteventura and Hotel Ereza Mar. The hotel is kept very clean with rooms/hotel areas cleaned thoroughly daily. The cleaners work very hard.
Nice inner courtyard area that protects from the wind on more blustery days although the furniture near entertainment area is uncomfortable.
Nice quiet hotel with no music blaring away and a plus that it was adult only. Entertainment could be improved as I found this was the worst thing about this hotel. Bingo and Karaoke did not go down well. They have a good selection of drinks at the bars, also need gluten free food at the bar.
Large selection of food at each sitting, but the taste of the food could be improved on.
Our bathroom had a slight sewage smell on occasion but this seemed to be intermittent.
Staff are really friendly/helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
Gluten free etc food not signed, so my partner had to ask the chef what he could eat at every sitting, which was frustrating.
Things could be improved on at this hotel, however I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the facilities, cleanliness and friendly staff and I would return. I hope improvements can be made in certain areas, but don’t let this put you off. Highly recommended

Here at the minute would not give it 4 star more like 2 star dining hall like a cafeteria food not good no choice and it's cold. we are having to go to the expense of eating out no lounge to relax bar area isn't up to much .have complained to our rep about it.we aren't the only ones to complain. We booked all inclusive but haven't used it .paid for 4 star but have only got 2 star
Sue Jones
We stayed recently at this hotel which looks like its had a recent refurb. It was very clean and the bathroom and bedroom looked brand new. The smell in reception eas lovely ( I would love to know what they use) . All the staff were friendly and helpful. A very good selection on the breakfast buffet.
We had one small niggle, the bed was comfy but creaked every time we turned over which woke us up. The reception staff sent up someone to look at it twice. The first night it seemed to improve but then back to the creaking. For this reason and lack of sleep we wouldnt stay again. I feel we might just have been unlucky as nobody else seems to mention this issue. The staff did their best to rectify it.
All in all a 4 but marked down because of lack of sleep.

Excellent customer service, staff were friendly and polite, and really made us welcome. Location is a short 20m from the airport, near the beach and a short walk from the town. It is worth noting that the hotel is directly under the flight path, so you will see and hear planes overhead.
The food was as expected for an all inclusive, some of the nights were better than others. Lunch and breakfast were reliable.
The main area for improvement is the service to the rooms, they should provide bottled water daily. We consistently found ourselves thirsty and having to plan evening trips to the bars to get water. Some of the towels provided had holes and tears to them and were not clean enough - the attention to detail isn't there.
The free roaming cats were lovely, and it was nice to see the local wildlife in the hotel grounds, such as hedgehogs.

Everything was amazing, the food, the service (particularly youseff) and especially the animation team!
They were amazing and looked after the kids and built such an amazing bond with the kids over the 11 days. Can't thank them enough... The entertainment every night was fantastic even for adults. It really made the holiday! Thanks to Jessica, Giulia X2 allesandro, aitor, Ivan and Ruben and all the others.
Will absolutely come back. An amazing hotel with the most amazing service and staff

A lovely 4* hotel set in its own grounds. Superb warm welcome at reception. Spotlessly clean, tidy and contemporary. All staff are friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the meals on my all inclusive package.
This is not a noisy hotel, very peaceful and relaxing. Views from my window overlooking the ocean were fantastic. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this destination.

My mother and I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and the staff were all very friendly and kind. The receptionist lady (Christina) made us feel very welcome and gave us the best possible service. The room we had (Junior Suite) was beautiful and nice with a view and a big balcony. The food was also very nice for breakfast and dinner and the chefs were catering to my needs aswell. Lunch was also good but was hoping with a bit more options like dinner time. The entertainment team were also great and Jessica (staff) was very nice to us. Our stay at this hotel was great and we will definitely be coming back here for another holiday! Overall it was a 10/10 experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We recently stayed at this hotel on a half-board basis and had a fantastic experience. As vegans, we didnt know what to expect in terms of options and its always worrying as we are travelling with our kids.
The catering team went out of their way to provide a variety of genuinely tasty vegan meals that were beautifully presented and clearly thoughtfully prepared. Nothing felt like an afterthought, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel welcome rather than like we were creating extra work for them, which honestly makes a huge difference when travelling plant-based.
A particularly lovely touch was the birthday cake they arranged for me, which really helped make the trip feel special.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to other plant-based guests looking for somewhere that genuinely caters well for vegan diets.

Room looking a bit tied from last year but easy fixed by a repaint. Service you can't fault, on a all inclusive so usually alcohol and soft drinks available from 10 to 10:30. Food is usual buffet food, mainly salads, fish, pork and veal. But if your vegetarian or vegan just book a meal in advance and they will make you something amazing. Been to several Barceló hotels in fuerteventura and lanzarote not sure i would go anywhere else.

Great place but don't come if you have any specific food requirements. They do not label any dishes and do not cater for gluten free at all. Having said that there is plenty of salad and fish and meat cooked fresh in front of you. It just gets a bit boring after a few days as you are basically eating the same every day. While there are lots of regular desserts there is only fruit or jelly and ice-cream that is GF. Evening entertainment is good but never anywhere to sit unless you get there an hour before it starts.

I really recomend it for persons who prefer relax in silence. I also convinced that living in bungalows was a discover of the year. Bufet is keeping that high level. Location is convienent, cause every most important places are close, including hiper dino supermercado. Personel is mostly kind except chefs in live time cooking zone, which looks unfamiliar.

I’m going to share a quick experience: great hotel, located in a strategic position, 10mins close to airport and easy to reach south and north. I’d like to highlight the professionalism of Vincenzo, the guy responsible for managing and organising the activities! He is always available and careful about all needs you might have. He managed to find a surfer school when every hopes were gone !! Absolutely fantastic ! Really recommend relaying on him !
Mat
Pretty and nicely organised hotel full of green areas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is great! Apart from usual and typical food you can count on something different almost every evening. The sandy beach nearby is well maintained and huge. Sunchairs are payed extra (10 eur/day). Swimming area does not collide with the water-sports area. There is well equipped mini market inside the main building and there are also other shops and restaurants within walking distance. Location close to the airport makes it easily accessible and the taxi is rather inexpensive when you pick one in front of the airport.
The rooms are clean and designed in a way to provide a lot of privacy (no shared balconies, can't directly see neighbour windows, etc.).
Since the hotel is neigbouring with other hotels and commonly available spaces somtimes it is hard to get a grip what is inculuded in your stay (hb, all inclusive, etc.). This could be explained.marked in a better way.

Absolutely amazing place. Our bungalow was a really nice size, very clean too. Air-conditioning worked extremely well. The only slightly annoying thing is the pool. There are signs up saying that you can't reserve sunbeds but like everywhere else, the rule isn't enforced. Either enforce it or take the signs down. But it didn't really bother me, just my wife as she loves to swim while I tan. We just laid on the supplied sunloungers in our bungalow. Overall, we would absolutely come back here. Staff were awesome, location is awesome and the whole lay out is too.

Customer service is one of the most important aspects of any hotel stay, and unfortunately this hotel completely failed in that regard. A smile, basic courtesy, and willingness to help would have made a huge difference. We stayed 5 days with no WiFi and a reception wasn’t helpful at all. Also would be nice to have a dishwashing liquid and sponge on the kitchen counter.
I would not recommend this hotel based on the service alone.
Chris Bluck
I can't fault this place at all. Absolutely lovely bungalows, yes, not the most luxurious but for the 300 odd quid, absolutely top notch. We would absolutely stay here again. Only a few minutes away from the airport, extremely close to the shops, bars and restaurants. Staff are all friendly and professional. Rooms were air-conditioned, only the bedroom not the living room but we just left the door open and the bungalow got very cold, very fast. €6 to hire the air-conditioning remote, which is returned upon returning the control. Overall, an absolutely amazing place that's close to everything. The only bad thing I guess is pretty much the same with every place. The pool. There are signs up saying that you are not allowed to reserve sunbeds but every single time people will leave their towels on them and bugger off. They really need to enforce this policy as does every hotel. Apart from that, perfect

The apartment is convenient, has everything you need. The pool is nice, it says it is a heated pool even though the pool heater was only on once in the week we was there the other days was cold and the weather was cold windy and rainy 4 out of the 7 days we was here. The days the weather was bad the pool heater was turned off. The wifi wasn’t working properly the first 2 days we were here and I asked the guy at the pool bar why the wifi wasn’t working and he said it’s because of the heat…! The cocktails Manuel makes at the pool bar are really nice but a bit pricey. Overall experience was good, the reason I am giving 2 stars for the stay is because we paid for 3 people to stay at the apartment, and got catered for 2, we asked for more towels which they gave us. When we asked for an extra quilt because it was freezing of a night they said they didn’t have any more quilts and only had these horrible textured blankets that literally go through you when they touch your skin. I would recommend bringing warmth layers with you if you are going to stay here with more than 2 people or they leave one of you freezing! The location is really good, I would 100% recommend going to the water sports on the port it’s about a 10-15 minute walk along the beach. Shops and restaurants in close proximity.

Big family of 8 put us in 3 apartments next to each other.. couldn’t of asked for a better location, the reception staff were welcoming, the cleaner was like family to us she was absolutely amazing!! The apartment was clean and tidy, cleaner made sure of that.. location is perfect we honestly couldn’t say a bad word 10/10 experience thank you for having us and making us feel welcome… bar staff also made us all laugh what an amazing team of people!! ❤️

Location was ok, we spent most of the day out at the beach. Staff were not pleasant but I think that's because fellow customers were equally unpleasant with drunkeness. There was just a negative vibe and we had to spend all our time elsewhere. Valuable item of clothing taken from the room. Pool was too cold to use so I would have been better off paying for an apartment elsewhere. My 4 year old had a great time but the first night he didn't sleep as he wasn't given a blanket. They begrudgingly gave us a blanket but I did not request anything else as they were so difficult. Beds were very hard and our room smelled mouldy, I left with a bad back. Some mystery charges were placed on my card by SMY that reception could not explain. Food was ok half the time, the other half you wouldn't feed your pet, a real gamble. Resteraunt staff are more like bouncers than helpful. It gets a star for the lovely yoga teacher Christiana, she tried her best and was from an external company. This place is ok if you want a base to go walking and swimming elsewhere but only if you get a very cheap rate. It's a shame as its so near to a beautiful beach and a beautiful sunrise they should change that horrid green fence, it felt like prison. I like the simple traditional Architecture but they really need to improve their external landscaping for safety and SMY need to support their staff who are I think trying their best.

I really wanted to like this hotel. The location is excellent (near the airport and beaches) and ideally, this would be a great spot for an all-inclusive holiday.
However, the rooms let this hotel down completely:
Maintenance:
The rooms are incredibly outdated and do not match the promotional photos. The shower was so dirty and the tub peeling so badly that we had to wear flip-flops to shower. There was a bad smell and signs of damp, likely because the ventilator was broken and clogged with dust. When we tried to open the hardwood shutters for fresh air, they were rusted stuck and a struggle to operate.
Comfort:
The curtains were old and not blackout, so the room was bright at sunrise. The beds were very hard. Also, while we needed 3 beds, the sofa bed was left with the sheets on top, but the bed itself was not made up for us.
Noise:
The walls are paper-thin. We could hear loud music from the pool bar and conversations of other guests on their balconies.
Health & Safety Concerns:
This was a major worry. There appeared to be only one fire alarm (which didn't look functional), and the one in the bedroom had been removed. There were no emergency exit signs. If the main door was blocked, the only exit would be a high balcony, which is dangerous especially since the shutters are nearly impossible to open.
The Positives:
• The staff were lovely and polite.
• The food was fine.
• Great location (10–15 mins from the airport) with local restaurants and a Dino supermarket nearby.
• Close to various beaches.
This hotel has potential given the pool, all-inclusive options, and location. However, until the rooms undergo an extreme makeover and safety standards are addressed, I cannot recommend it. I think you could get something similar in the area in better condition

Having stayed here 10 times now within the last 5 years I can highly recommend SMY Tahona!
It’s a fantastic hotel with great staff from the cleaners to the pool bar staff and throughout there all very friendly and extremely helpful, the rooms are all a good size and clean throughout, it’s well situated within walking distance of local shops bars and the beach, it’s a relaxed around the pool area and great entertainment on the night every night!
The food is also brilliant especially the breakfast plenty of options for everyone, this hotel with the amazing staff they have there make your holiday special every time hence why it’s top of my list and keep going back!
For the price it’s excellent those who complain (if anyone cheerio) no complaints here and will see you again in April 😊
Thankyou to SMY Tahona and all your brilliant staff that make it all happen perfectly!

It's quite an old building, and it shows its age. There has been efforts to upgrade facilities, but the building is still showing its age. Rooms were excellent with everything you need. 2 televisions, fan in lounge and fan/light in bedroom plus charging points at bedside. The buffet breakfast was very good but we didn't have lunch or evening meals. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable. It was extremely good value for money, 'cheap as chips' is a good term to use. Only drawback is that mobility scooters are not permitted (and we needed it).
Brian Morrall
Good, central location 20 minutes from the airport. Useful for a base to get all around the island, everywhere can be reached by about an hour in the car. Not much of a view from the hotel, but it's self contained so probably don't need it.
15 minute walk to the Caleta De Fuste beach, a bit longer to the better beach further round.
Family room was large. Old decor, but clean and basic. Beds were okay, newish mattresses on old bed frames, but functional.
Food fairly basic, however they try to do a different theme every night, but there is quite a lot of choice and gets replenished frequently. Breakfast and evening dinner better, lunch was a bit pointless. Snacks in the bar area were usually hotdogs or burgers and stuff leftover from breakfast.
Every staff member was friendly and extremely hard working, they appear to do long hours to keep everything moving.
Inclusive drinks are machine made cocktails, Amstel lager and soft drinks and a coffee machine.
Would have liked coffee in the dining area after evening dinner, but they turn it all off after breakfast.
Parking was a bit hit and miss, seemed the best time to get a spot near the hotel was at about 3.30 pm ...
We had a decent week there during February half term.

Just got back from staying at this hotel, it was my 3rd stay here. Our room was lovely, comfortable and clean, regarding the food although some dishes were repeated there was plenty of choice each day for breakfast lunch and dinner but the puddings where a bit limited and the drinks machines in the restaurant weren't always working properly but there are plenty of other machines around the hotel to get drinks from and right next to the restaurant so not too much of a problem. My main 3 issues was firstly there was only 1 lift working on the side of the hotel I was on. I couldn't use the 2 lifts on the other side as I would have had to manage 2 lots of stairs with my husbands wheelchair, the other lift meant I only had to manage 1 lot and because there was only 1 lift we had to wait a lot because the lift was busy and sometimes there was no room for us. The 2nd issue was that there was a leak from the roof leaving a puddle on the floor, there was a warning sign put out but the water was spreading across the corrider and nothing was done to prevent it spreading, I suggested a bucket or something being put there to catch the water but was told no they couldn't do that and my 3rd issue was despite signs saying sunbeds were not to be reserved no notice of this was taken. We struggled to get a sunbed during our trip and many times I witnessed sunbeds being reserved all day but people not actually using them for hours.

I don’t usually post reviews on hotels, but this has been a fantastic experience. Good food everyday, they grill all different kinds of meat everyday which is good. Also the service here has been incredible, especially Rashid and Ayman has been nice to us, so thanks for that. I can recommend this place to anyone and hopefully I’ll come back in the future. This is top, especially in terms of money worth.🤗🤝

Hey, we've just spent one week at this hotel, 24th -31st. 2 adults and 2 kids (4&5)
We was a little concerned after reading some reviews. But we've honestly had a great week away. The saying goes, you get what you pay for. Its 3 star and delivers. The staff have been lovely. They went all out for Xmas day gala dinner. Entertainment has been fab. Kids club is barely, (only 3 days a week for 95 mins each day, and wasn't actually open 2 days because of xmas) but for us can be forgiven.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. I've enjoyed the food, ice cream everyday. And the alcohol avaliable is a wide selection.
One happy family. 🥰🥰

Just returned from a week stay at Chatur Hotel Costa Calleta. We had a few issues whilst our stay, all staff on reception were very good, within bringing the issues to light both reception and maintenance staff acted immediately to solve the problem. We were kept informed at every stage and they dealt with it to the best they were able. The food was good we were able to find something we liked even though not everything to our taste. Yes there was some decoration needed, this was going whilst our stay, we did bear in mind that the hotel is open all year and work has to be done without great disruption to us. Overall the hotel staff, food, cleanliness was brilliant and would stay at Chatur Hotel Costa Calleta again

Hotel is cheap and cheerful, all local drinks included in the all inclusive package. Most of the staff do a good job, certainly let down by one or two who quite frankly are bordering on rude and customers are an inconvenience to them. Food is fair and plenty to choose from, breakfast is a challenge as there are never enough cups which again could be improved and lift this hotel. The entertainment is poor and kids club was not operating and disappointing that nearly all the games tables etc are out of order. Pools are clean and warm. The sun roof is ok but again the drinks machines are all out of order and there is only on lift operating. We did a last minute getaway and we were not disappointed for the price but in peak times and peak prices we would have been !

We had a fantastic experience during our stay at the hotel and everything was very well organized. We especially appreciated the beautiful pool areas and the attention to detail throughout the hotel, which made our holiday feel truly special. The service from all the staff was excellent, always attentive and professional.
The entertainment team deserves special recognition for creating such a fun and lively environment every day. The shows were entertaining and full of energy, and we were truly impressed by the performances. A very special mention goes to Giorgia, who does an excellent job, her talent, professionalism, and stage presence made every show even more enjoyable. Congratulations to the whole team for their amazing work!

We loved the hotel's location, as it's excellent and allows you to easily enjoy the surrounding area. We especially want to highlight the quality and variety of the food, which was always delicious, as well as the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. The hotel's atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing, ideal for both resting and having fun as a family. The facilities are very well maintained and offer many leisure options throughout the day.
A big thank you to the entertainment team, who fill the hotel with energy and a great atmosphere with music and games. A special thanks to Giorgia and Dan; we loved the Lion King show—it was one of the highlights of our stay.

Four in a bed style
Hosts 6/10. Never really felt welcome, mire just another number. 6 is for the pool bar lady constantly singing.
Cleanliness 8/10. No real complaints on this. Room was clean, hotel grounds were clean. Tables not cleared particularly quuckly.
Services. 4/10. Bars not always open. No advertisement in terms of transport to town, or the itailian restaurant on site. Animation team tried on occasion. Pool missing tiles and ready for deep clean. Evening entertainment was lacking in quality.
Sleep quality 9/10. No complaints. Planes do fly overhead but not late at night.
Food 5/10. Not really much of a choice on food and often basic staples ran out and took a long time to replenish. Breakfast OK, evening meal got very repetitive. Snack bar a welcome addition. Beer isnt great with cruzcampo on tap but not the same as in UK. Limited choice of cocktails, decent fir spirits.
Would i stay here again? No

We had a lovely all inclusive stay at this hotel, the staff is very friendly, framissima french team is great (Adrien and team), great activities to spend the day, immediate beach access.
Food quality is good, very varied but sometimes too overcooked and salty. Rooms should be better maintained as well.

we stayed here for a week and everything about our experience was perfect. the food, the location, the staff, the cleanliness, everything was great. the staff here are all friendly, helpful, and full of energy. shoutout to brais, he is definitely an asset to the entertainment team! i also appreciated the overall hygiene of this hotel, with well-kept rooms that are thoroughly cleaned every day. the location definitely made our experience worthwhile, as you have access to anything you may need with a shopping centre and airport at your doorstep. also great if you’d like to travel around the island as it is located right in the middle. although we are very sad to leave, if we get the opportunity to visit fuerteventura in the future, we would absolutely come to this hotel again. we even received a complimentary bottle of wine!

My experience at this hotel was simply excellent — truly deserving of 5 stars! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome with friendly and professional service.
The room was spotless, very comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared down to the smallest detail. The bed was incredibly cozy, and we had a great night’s sleep. Everything was clean and well organized, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The facilities were in perfect condition, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The breakfast was varied and high quality, with plenty of options to choose from.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it without hesitation.

Of course — here’s the updated version including Tom and the staff:
We had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Fuerteventura. The breakfast and dinner selections were excellent, with plenty of choice and very good quality. Our room was big, spacious, and very comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel is also fantastic for families, with kids’ activities running all day long and into the evening. There was always something for the children to enjoy, which made the holiday relaxing for everyone.
A special thank you to the staff, especially Tom, who always seemed to be around everywhere and made time to have a friendly word with all the guests. His presence and warm approach really added to the experience.
We honestly could not fault our stay. We came back after 11 years, and we still love this hotel just as much. A truly lovely experience, and we would happily return again.

Escaped for a week here and it’s been absolutely brilliant. Lovely room overlooking the garden, super comfy huge bed, large pool area with a jacuzzi, 2 heated pools and loads of sunbeds. Food great and amazing staff which really makes it special. From the warm welcome and glass of Prosecco to the lovely restaurant staff and the truly excellent activities team. Access to the beach and the walkway to shops, Salt Museum and old town made it easy to explore. Or stay put and do golf, gym, archery, aqua fit, yoga and cocktail making. Huge fun, met some friendly people and cannot praise the hotel enough for all they did to give us such a great holiday. Special mention to the absolutely brilliant Aaron, lovely Lorenzo and the front of house staff. Just fabulous… don’t really want to go home to Scotland!
Maria
Excellent location, only 15mins from the airport. The hotel is wonderful, restaurants and great outdoors pools. Play areas and a splash pool for children to keep them entertained. I'm not sure if this is standard, but there were always sunbeds available for everyone and the pool area never felt full. One small issue was on late arrival there were no food options available, not even a snack which after a long journey wasn't ideal. Also we were told on arrival that access to the spa was free but treatments had to be paid for, which turned out to be incorrect and we did have to pay for the spa. Other than that, highly recommend this hotel. Just a point to note that the island is very windy, something for first time travellers to be aware of.
Rhiann Campbell
I had a lovely stay at the Sheraton Fuertaventura, as other reviews mention it is a bit dated but in my opinion still the best hotel in Caleta de Fuste.
Highlights: Staff and service excellent!
Pool area and pool bar fabulous
Great breakfast with good quality ingredients
Only a couple of small issues - WiFi not great on our room, was ok for us but if you need to work remotely bear in mind. Also in our room we had a lovely bathtub but something was wrong with the plug and it wouldn’t fill up which was a shame.
Overall a good stay and I would return next time!

This hotel is a pure paradise from the staff, to the services, the discretion and their attention and authenticity.
I would like to thank everyone for this amazing experience especially Chantal, Miriam, Alina, Simon, Rodriguo, Begonia and all the others names that I did not catch.
They all made me feel at home and were very attentive to my needs as I was travelling by myself this time for 10 days I felt very comfortable and I have experienced many activities nearby the hotel as well from restaurants to excursions (I recommend the catamaran experience with Orbycat) and even rented a bike to discover more of this island 🌹
But to make this experience even better, I have experienced a few issues when I requested room order which I had to contact them again and it was not as smooth as I have hoped for but they were very reactive once I called them.
The Hammam space could be improved a lot because it was not hot enough and the tv should be renewed because I could not share my screen from my mobile phone to the tv when I wanted to watch a movie in my room. (No Netflix or other online streaming videos available)
The internet was a bit slow sometimes as well and I felt the team from the restaurant were sometimes a little overwhelmed probably because they were not staffed enough but they remained in control.
Next time I would like to come back again with my future husband that could not join me this time.
Until then I wish you all the best for the future and I hope to come again soon ❤️❤️❤️☀️🏝️

Well manicured grounds and excellent staff. Food was disappointing, especially the Christmas Gala evening. We were surprised by the unseasonal, poor weather. The Spa treatments we enjoyed were fabulous, both beauticians were very skilled.. The mini golf was great fun with two superior courses. We were half board and struggled to find a decent restaurant outside the complex, for lunch. We stayed in the Adult Only Royal Level which is part of an enormous complex, all sharing the same sandy beach.

Perfect location next to the shopping mall and positioned in front of beautiful beach

Absolutely amazing experience. Family with 2 teens 12 & 15 year olds stayed all inclusive for 7 nights. Staff very polite, hard working and made us feel welcoming. The reception staff at Royal Level is a true asset to the hotel especially Chantal and Mehdi who made our stay special! Restaurants, premium drinks and choices of water activities were superb! The pool was nice and warm overlooking the sea, chair were very comfortable. We never needed to rush to get a chair as people were sensible and sharing spare ones or just taking their towels away. By the way towels were available just there at the pool bar which in next to the pool. It’s rather small private are where you can find everything you need. The resort itself is huge thou ! We enjoyed the relaxing walks along the shore. Can’t forget the meals during sunset overlooking marina ,just fabulous!Thank you Barceló for another wonderful holidays and we will see you again next year !

Stayed for a week. The place is perfect for a wee holiday. Cleaners are excellent! Our room in particular was great as we were facing right onto the pool. Yes ok there awesome cracked tiles and bits are a wee bit dated but nothing to moan about. The vegetarian choices?.....well there weren't any really unless you eat salad chips and pizza every night but I would definitely go back.

I loved it were there in May and Sept. The rooms are clean maid service every other day. Sometimes food choice wasn't exactly great but aways found something to eat. They cook a lot of fish and pork. The staff from the maids to the head waiter are all very nice. Food is well laid out and they always have a wee tag with what the food is. Pizza nuggets burgers available for kids everyday. Unlimited drinks snacks at bar all day. Value for money

This hotel has lots of very mixed reviews on the net but for the price I paid I can't honestly complain.
If this is your one big holiday of the year that you've been looking forward too for months you might be disappointed but if it's just a cheap sunshine break you're after you could do a lot worse.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The food was edible and fresh if a little uninspired.
The rooms were clean.
Happily there were no roaches... which is pretty unusual for this island (even in higher end hotels)
All in all a decent budget friendly hotel.

To be fair this was a rapid change from our desired hotel and the reviews weren't great. But and it's a big but the staff were fantastic they shined through every moment of their lengthy days, it was clean, the bedding refreshed every 2 days and the food more hit than miss. There is always pizza and chips it's true but, as that's not our thing, always a fish, meat rice/alternative potato and plentiful salad and dessert bar, we were among lovely people too and the Mexican and Oriental nights are great meals.

Really good basic place. Rooms are cleaned to a very high standard. Food was good. Please note that you will probably see a cockroach or two somewhere around. These are part of the natural wildlife of the Island.
The only downside to the hotel, was the shallow end of the pool was still too deep for my grandson that is 128 cm.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
