We had an amazing holiday, very relaxed and enjoyed every minute. This was our first self catering holiday, Bungalow had everything we needed. To use the keycard can be tricky to open and lock the door, but you get the hang of it pretty quick. Felt very safe on and off the complex. We paid for a safe, tv remote and air con which is a must but it is only in the bedroom so we rented a fan for living room which really helped. Pool bar is great in the day for food and drinks whilst sunbathing, only issue was not having chance to get a sunbed, as soon as the life guard unlocks them at 10am they are gone within seconds…..you need to be there from 9am waiting. We didn’t wait, we used the terrace by the pool and waited until early afternoon for people to leave. Activities by the pool for kids in the day was great and Friendly staff. My 12 year old loved it. Reception very helpful and welcoming and the cleaners were amazing. I would 100% go again.

Resort is great. Awesome WiFi too. Only reason I'm not giving it 5/5 is that it is starting to look a bit tired, Bluetooth speaker in the pool area kept cutting out intermittently, some of the pool steps broken, one of the pool jets wasn't working. Air bubble beds in the pool are fun. A few entertainment schedules in the morning and evening were lightly attended but fun. Staff are polite and the rooms are clean. Happy hour 2 for 1 from 5pm - 6pm (beer, soft drinks, sangria). I saw 2 cockroaches in the room here and there but that is fairly inevitable in hot countries with food waste. We had a really good time. 7.50€ for a burger, 8€ for a fresh pizza. Both were nice.

Can't fault the rooms, location ideal service at reception good however no kids club or activities as advertised, when we complained to the manager she was non complacent and didn't help with the situation at all. The weekend pool attendant is very rude 😒 and just propped up the bar. The daily pool guy excellent very helpful. There was a break in while we were there a little old couple in the middle of the night they were on the service road so please if you have a room there ask to be moved?

Just had a week here with family. After a slight delay getting into our room on the first day it was more than made up for by the location, size and standard of what we got. Perfect location near the pool and very clean. All of the staff were friendly and kept it looking clean and tidy.
Just a five minute walk from the lovely beaches made the location really good. Lots of places to eat and drink too.
Overall very happy with the place and well worth the money for the stay.

After staying in Caleta a number of times over the past 12 years we decided to book The Caybeach as self-catering. This was due to the fact that we know the area and some good places to eat out.
Although Caybeach is rated a 3 star hotel with bungalow type rooms, we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and layout of the bungalows. They are basic but well positioned and are very quiet through the night.
The hotel is in a very good location, close to the main shops and restaurants with a short walk to the beach.
The only critical things I would point out is the sunbeds: These are locked with chains at around 18:00 each day and not opened again until 10:00 each morning with not enough beds available for all guests if the hotel is full!
The sunbeds are in need of a very good clean or replacement as they are a very big letdown, being very dirty, unhygienic and lost the structure in many. By structure I mean when sitting on many of them it feels as if you will fall through and are nearly sitting on the floor.
One other minor thing is the roof above reception being damaged and looking unsightly, but I would think the management will be onto this issue.
If these issues were corrected, then this hotel would have provided everything we or anyone would need from a self-catering holiday.
Well worth booking and will certainly return for the right price.
